No QR codes allowed for consolidated returns at this store. I wish this wasn't becoming such a commonplace and forcing customers to use other locations. In the beginning I thought this company would be a good fit, for me during my travels through the fall/winter season. I had been to a couple of other mail service businesses, one which does not provide virtual mail services, the other was requesting that a general postal form be notarized, which doesn't require. The owner at Mailbox Depot told me that he could provide virtual mail services and agreed to provide everything that I asked if he did. A few weeks later, the first two pieces of mail came in and it was clear that he isn't familiar with virtual mail services. I was on the road by that time and trying to negotiate while driving throughout the day. The next day he emailed me to give me notice that he would not provide virtual mail services. For a week, we wrote back and forth and he constantly insulted me, accusing me of having trust issues, because I questioned the prices that he charged for mailing a check to my credit union, and that "I" was unwilling to work with him and appreciate the services he provides. I was not interested in snail mail forwarding or packaging services. I asked for virtual services. It was a constant barrage of messages, trying to convince me of how great his mail and packaging services are. Considering that I paid for a year's worth of virtual mail forwarding services in advance, I was trying to determine if we could find a middle ground. He just quit on me, completely. Then, sent an envelope that included a 20 page document, which I had already paid for scanned copies of at .25 per page, equaling $5. I was charged another $9 for a mailed copy and he asserted that it wasn't his job to inquire about how that mail was to be handled. He had already asked and I told him to shred my mail. All other mail was not included in that envelope, along with the 20 page document. If you choose to do business with this company get clarity around services and costs, as well find out if he will inform you of services and costs in advance. I have been working with another mail forwarding service company in NV, but needed one for residency in OR. I've never had these type of issues with that company, yet he accused me of having out of the ordinary expectations. Very bad customer service. read more

I have lived near this shop for 19yrs, with very different owners. The past few years the new owners have been the worst. I noticed that they have charged exorbitant prices. I have walked out a few time because I knew the actual cost of shipping and didn't feel it was a fair amount for the connivance. Today I stood in line for 20mins, timed it on my phone. Non the less I stood there waiting my turn. A man in front of me complained about the cost of his shipping when he got a totally different price online. (That should have been my reason to leave right there) I didn't. I had a package for my grandson that was 2.3lbs, on none of my receipts did it stated the weight!!! They told me the cost of shipping was USPS$83.56 to Canada with $60 insurance. YIKES! The items were half that price. Then the owner stated that UPS ground was $46.03. I should have walked out then, when I know USPS has options, which were not offered and I was lead to believe that that was the regular ground price. I came home after paying the $46.03 and found that USPS only charged $24.50 that included $400.00 insurance with tracking!!! I will never use this shop again, even when I like using local shops, as a small business owner myself. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP ANYTHING ANYWHERE FOR YOU!!!!! I'm so P'd off!!!! Lesson learned and I'm out $20.00 that went straight into this greedy owners pocket!!! read more

Had them package and ship a envelope. After them doing this, she said the total is and I paid. Problem is, I assumed, which I clearly regret, thought she would have sent my items with a tracking number. Instead she apparently shipped it through first class mail. Shocker, it turned up missing. When you provide a service day in, day out, you ought to know your field. I will never assume again. It's my fault too. But, I feel after her packaging up my items, she should of charged or suggested sending it with insurance and with a tracking number. I bought two of the three items from them. Super nice people, but what a huge waste of money! I went there on a friend's recommendation, and was pleasantly surprised by the lack of wait. However, I was shocked and amazed when quoted the cost to send my package by regular mail. They were going to charge $16 for the EXACT same service the post office provides for $5.35 (both prices include a box and shipping regular mail). Not to mention they charge $0.52/stamp, so if you're buying, say, 100 stamps, you're paying $7 more to buy the stamps at this place than you would pay at the post office (or your local grocery store for that matter). I left and went to the post office instead, and was not happy when I saw the insanely long holiday line. But I timed my wait, and I was in line for less than 15 minutes, so it really wasn't that bad. Especially considering the huge savings, something that's definitely worth 15 minutes of my time (especially at this time of year!) read more
