The last few days have been very bad for me, I needed to get some money delivered to pay my utilities and rent.  Because of the weather I was unable to deliver it in person like I usually do.  So I was gonna mail the money, but everywhere I went they were closed because of the snow in Portland.  I first went to the post office in Fairview, the one next to Target store, but they were closed.  Then I went to the ParkRose Post office, but it was so crowded, and the line was insane. So I went to the UPS Store near Glisan St.  Fortunately, they were open.  Only issue they told me is that I can't send cash, the rep told me it is unsafe to send cash that way because it is unsafe and untrackable and untraceable.  I was upset, but at least he told me that can go next door and get a money order at Albertsons.  So I reluctantly got the money order, and came back to Ups Store to mail out money orders.  He gave me tracking numbers for each.  Like I said I was a little upset he wouldn't accept cash. However, a day later the cash I sent my garbage utility never arrived, I talked to their customer service and told me they never got it.  Told me I can not do anything until I get cash.  However the good news is that the money order sent from the UPS Store got delivered Monday morning, and I was able to track that money got released, and paid for.  So at the end of the day, I am glad the representative told me to get a money order.  It was a little inconvenient, but at least money got paid.  Now I probably have to pay the garbage company twice, since now I know cash is untrackable. read more

I came into the store to get a rubber stamp. The cashier that helped me was very knowledgeable, and provided me a form to fill out.  Told me how much it would cost and when would get it.  Explained to me that it would have to be made by an outside vendor and would be shipped to store. Than I could just come back to the store once it is delivered.  I asked him why couldn't do it at store.  He let me know that each stamp is unique and that they didn't have the machines to make it at the store.  Which made sense once he explained it to me that way.  I also needed to do some Amazon returned.  I wasn't prepared at all, so cashier showed me how to do it on my Amazon app on my iPhone.  He was really helpful and showed me how to do it by QR code so I didn't have to pay any money there.  It was quick process, and he gave me confirmation number for those returns.  Although this store was very small the cashier was able to get through the line really quickly and effiently.  I was like 6 person in line but I only had to wait for 5 minutes.  I think I would definitely come here again. read more

I came into the store looking to do some shredding, however the employee did let me know that their bins were unfortunately full right now, he did refer me to another ups store, and let me know generally their shredding bin gets emptied every 15 days.  I did also need to get passport photos, good news they do that as well.  It was kinda funny, In the first picture I accidentally made a funny face, the employee let me know that you don't want to have an exaggerated smile on passport photos, the passport people might not accept that.  We had a good laugh about it, and he re-took another picture for me, and provided a passport folder to put them in.  He also referred me to the post office to actually get a passport application as well.  As they don't have passport applications at the ups store. He did let me know that I might be able to print one on-line, but I decided to go to the post office instead to get a hard copy. read more

I came into the store looking for mailbox rental prices.  The young fellow gave me a brochure and answered all my questions with regards to pricing and what was needed to rent one.  However I also needed some business cards ASAP, and the store rep told me that we can do some in house if you would like.  However I no longer have a digital file of my old business cards.  The cool thing was that the representative quickly created a simple one for me for free.  He did not charge me anything for creating it from scratch. He told me it can be completed in an hour.  So I went shopping at Albertsons next door and was able to get some 100 business cards done within an hour, created from scratch at a reasonable price.  This was a lifesaver for me, because I needed to hand some cards out to clients for an event I had later that day.  That was awesome. read more

I came in the day before thanksgiving hoping that I can get some dry food delivered on that day.  Unfortunately, the cashier told me that nothing gets delivered on Thanksgiving for any carrier.  National holidays and call shipping carriers have that day off.  He did let me know it could get there on friday, so not a complete loss, so I did that.  They also helped me with my amazon returns, which was free.  In addition I was also helped with my passport photos, the cashier took the picture and you can just walk in and don't need an appointment.  They also helped me ship it the next day, because I was visiting my aunt in Australia in a couple weeks.  He told me UPS has guaranteed service so it should definitely get there.  All in all, it was a good experience.  I got a lot of things done at one place, and will come again. read more

One stop shop, I was able to do a variety of tasks at the Ups Store, I did some shredding, with a good price of $1 a pound, and also got to do spiral binding with a cover sheet as well.  Finally, I was able to do a notary  for a change of ownership document as well.  I thought I needed to do fingerprinting for my change of ownership, but notary on staff let me know that fingerprinting was only optional for that document.  I was so happy I was able to get everything done in one place.  One funny thing that happened at the store was that the radio was playing 2Pac "Hit them up" and it was the unedited version.  The notary said "Sorry about that," and changed the station.  It was ok, because I kinda like that song, but we had a laugh about it.  Anyway I had a very productive time at the UPS Store. read more

Another good experience at the UPS Store, I was desperate to get notary done. Originally I set up an appointment to get Will and Testament get done for free at my local bank, however they can't do those type of documents there. Not sure why they couldn't tell me ahead of time. Good news, the Ups store can do Will and Testament. It is $10, but it was worth it for me. Also the Will and Testament also needed a witness besides the notary to sign as well. Luckily, the Notary person asked the customer waiting in line if they can be at witness. The customer in line agreed and got my notary completed. Another good experience. read more

I originally came into the store to get a mailbox rental, but decided against it because it did seem kind of high pricing.  The agent did advise me however they offered 3 months free if I sign up for 12 months.  I decided to shop around a little bit.  I also recently completed my notary test, so they told me that they can get notary stamps made and shipped to the store. So I ordered it and they would call me once the stamp was delivered to the Ups store.  Finally, I needed to shred a bunch of my old documents.  Luckily they did that service as well. I was happy I was able to get a bunch of stuff done at one location. read more

I original came into complain about Amazon return, however the staffer that helped me was able to resolve my issue.  Basically he advised me that I did a consolidated return with Amazon.  Meaning that the Amazon return goes in a bigger box and receipt given not a tracking number.  He let me know that if call Amazon customer service and say consolidated, they should refund.  So I did that, and sure enough the Amazon rep, refunded my Amazon return.  I am glad the staffer, was able to assist and help me with my problem. read more

I was able to get Amazon returned done quickly and without any issue. They also had a notary on staff that also was able to be done quickly as well. However I thought inside of the store was a little dirty. However I appreciated the responsiveness and helpfulness of the staff, so I had a good experience. read more

The rep really helped me out at this store. I had a fedex package, but went to ups store, however they were able to print the label from my phone, and let me know that a Fedex drop off was next door at Albertson. Saved me a lot of time and frustration. Thank you read more

the guy that worked there really helped me with business cards. They did graphic design, and able to 500 ordered for me and shipped to the store. They did sample for FREE, and allow me to make changes to it before ordered full 500 cards. Great experience. read more

I was really impressed that I could do walk in notary's at this location. Every bank I went to required to set up an appointment. I can also do international shipping to Australia as well. read more
