My package (camera from NY) had been sitting in Troutdale since the early morning hours of Monday and it is now Friday. From using the Fedex tracking system, I had gone from scheduled delivery on Tuesday, to scheduled delivery on Wednesday to "no scheduled delivery" by Wednesday evening through Thursday. Fedex's tracking system is very frustrating too work with and obscures accurate information and contact methods. So you get the point I was not a happy camper when after a short wait I was able to get through to the Fedex hub manager in Troutdale. What I found was a stressed by very courteous and professional response by the manager as we worked through our conversation. He and his crew had just endured the most difficult week in his 15 year tenure at Troutdale. I am located in Mosier near Hood River in the Gorge. We had lot of snow but not ice. The manager patiently explained to me that he had trailers frozen by ice that took 3 days and $200,000 to get freed up. He had employees stranded there for 72 hours. The ice storm had been horrific at the west end of the Gorge. Traffic was moving fine on I84 but that did not help Fedex in Troutdale. After explaining the the background, Josh, the supervisor's name gave me a firm estimate when they would get to the trailer my camera is located in and arranged for me to pick it up at the sub station in The Dalles so I wouldn't have to depend on local delivery, tomorrow, Saturday. Some things to note. Josh is faced by similar frustrations as customers with Fedex web services. They give him no method of putting out real information of what it's like on location. Second, and most importantly, Josh could have passed me off to another employee. Instead he responded with respect, courtesy and a professional response to address my concern. I have every confidence that he provides good leadership to his crew and inspires good work effort on their part. I salute Josh and now empathize with the conditions he and his crew work under. Upon the new company arriving they did an examination and noted there was an air filter that Clawson had never told me existed. It was apparent that they never changed it. He described it that the filter has a lifetime of dust. He said it looked as if it had never been changed in the life of the unit. I was so disappointed. They had never told me my ducts were dirty, never shown me my outside filter, and the place they put a filter inside didn't need it!! Why pay for the preventative maintenance program if it means nothing and they do not even clean and examine the unit? When I tried to call, the "answering service" picked up and would not even connect me to the office. I left a message but of course was never called back. Very disappointed I spent all that money and was totally taken advantage of. The repair due to their negligence was 1,000 dollars. Safe to say I am never using them again.

We hired them during the 2021 heatwave when our AC went kaputs, they actually answered their phone and responded within 24-48 hours. They had us cold as ice in no time, not only did we appreciate the work ethic but we also purchased the year round maintenance package they offer, totally worth it. I've stopped in here about 3 different times over the last few years. The first few times I…read moreunderstood they couldn't help and had no bad feelings over it because they tried. But after the last interaction yesterday, I will never consider buying anything here. Apparently it was too difficult to attempt to locate or order a 3-1/2" idler pulley for my 30 year old mower. I stopped in B/C I prefer face to face interaction and support of local businesses. The guy behind the counter, although he was nice, simply wouldn't even take 5 minutes to order a $30 pulley. The whole interaction was less than 45 seconds, barely looked at the part in my hand and told me to get it from Amazon and there was no way he could help, instead of pulling out the Oregon book he has behind the counter and flipping through some pages or trying to even see if they had anything close. Too bad, I was hoping to purchase a new machine this year from them with cash. Guess I'll find somewhere that isn't too lazy to help.

It was a simple fix, but had to load it back up, haul it back to Gresham. They promptly fixed the problem and we returned home. I called to see if I could be compensated some for our time, lost and not being able to get my garden in with the sunshine before it rained . I was told definitely not , think I'll take my business somewhere else next time.

They have really reasonable pricing too, telling me up front that they based their post card prices off of being competitive with Modern Postcard, which is amazing and I have no idea how they can do it but I'll take it. They helped me with a custom designed tri-fold card recently which turned out beautifully and little did I know they were actually going to fold all the cards for me too! They contacted me before printing the cards to let me know that the logo was pixelated so I could fix the issue before the order was complete. The only thing that concerned me was when I asked about sustainable practices they seemed to be less informed than I would have liked.
