It is a distribution facility and the main location where mail for our neighborhood is delivered and then picked up by our awesome mailman Ben for delivery to our house. I received a registered mail notification and went to this location to pick up my registered mail. The woman who helped me was prompt, courteous and friendly. And we got to see Ben for the second time that day! If you need a PO Box I hear this is a great location for post office boxes!

The staff is consistently unfriendly, and one particular woman who works there regularly speaks to customers with a noticeable attitude. On my most recent visit, I came to drop off a package that didn't have a QR code. I asked if they could print the label for me--they said no, so I went to the library, printed it out, and came back. When I returned with the label and my package, I asked if they could tape it on for me since I didn't have any tape. The man at the counter refused, even though there was a roll of packing tape sitting right next to him. It was a small label on a lightweight package--it would've taken two seconds, max. That moment left me feeling so defeated that I ended up crying in my car. I've never felt so frustrated over something so minor. As for value, this place offers very little. The time, effort, and emotional toll of dealing with unhelpful service here simply aren't worth it--especially when there are friendlier options elsewhere. I highly recommend going to a different location if you have the choice. Customers deserve basic kindness and support, especially at a public service facility like this.

If you want a particular stamp or a lot of stamps, it may be worth ordering online. I tried to get 200 postcard stamps and they had 110. What I appreciated however is that the woman helping me sold me every postcard stamp they had and recommended two other locations for finding the remaining stamps I needed. Once when I wanted a certain type of stamp, they sold me their last one that was in the display case instead of saying "we don't have that". I thought that was cool of them to do. I wish they were open longer and had a 24/7 postage kiosk but overall this is a good post office.

Yes, to get there if driving you have to navigate one way streets, but most are locals and walk. if driving, come down SW 1st and park right out front in the 15 minute spot. I've been utilizing this post office for years and the staff is always friendly and helpful. When I ask for the lowest price on return packages, they check various options without hesitation. While I've never used their passport services, which seems to be where issues are, I have bought supplies and sent out multiple packages, purchased holiday stamps and visit here to return prepaid packages - all with no issue and friendly service.
