I went to the post office Saturday May 30th 2026 to pick up my mail it was a Saturday about 4:30…read morep.m. and there was no customers in the lobby where the PO boxes are and the post office actually was closed otherwise I encountered a person a transgender woman who had strally red hair and dressed like a prostitute loitering in the in the room I said something to her and she became enraged and presented to me a ice pick but she had concealed she was very argumentative and acted crazy and cornered me in the room and was yelling and screaming obscenities and finally she backed off and told me to go to hell so I got my stuff my my mail and left I did tell somebody outside what happened I didn't see anybody go in there I called the police nobody went to do anything really actually took 2 hours to finally talk to the police officer and they didn't follow up they didn't do anything either and this is the letter I got from the post office when I complained about it. I asked if they had cameras and they told me they did not that's a government building and they don't have camera so be aware when you go into Creston station on Foster road in Portland Oregon on off times when there's no employees visible they don't have camera so anybody could rob you in that place and nobody will know. It is a distribution facility and the main location where mail for our neighborhood is delivered and then picked up by our awesome mailman Ben for delivery to our house. I received a registered mail notification and went to this location to pick up my registered mail. The woman who helped me was prompt, courteous and friendly. And we got to see Ben for the second time that day! If you need a PO Box I hear this is a great location for post office boxes!

Specifically they've helped me twice with passport photos, which can be tricky and something I don't want to trifle with. They follow the requirements and I haven't had an issue with any photo being accepted. My most recent interaction with Postal Plus was shipping a package around the holidays. The US Postal Service line can always be arduous this time of the year, but for a few extra bucks more I was more than happy to have Postal Plus help me out. They offered me some options for shipping, including UPS and FedEx, and in the end found a great price that also worked with the shipping timeline I needed. The service has always been friendly and helpful too!
