He weighed it and He said it would cost $1.01. I told him I had forever stamps and I would like to purchase the difference in cost for stamps for Xmas cards. (I didn't know how much the forever stamps are worth in 2024) That way I could use the forever stamp plus the additional priced stamp ($.28). He told me "just put 2 forever stamps on them". Why would I want to pay $1.46 per Xmas card when it only costs $1.01 to mail them???????? I had to request 3 times for him to sell me the .28 stamps and he acted like I was so putting him out. UGH. I will wait in line to have anyone BUT BRUCE help me next time. It isn't worth the aggravation of being treated like garbage by a federal employee who makes his living from my taxes!!!

SO after being in our new location for 5 weeks our mailman came and asked us if we had ordered the key yet. And since we hadn't, he said we could pick up our mail at the post office until then. So off I went and whoa what a line!! But then a savior emerged and asked if anyone was there to pick up mail or packages. Yes yes yes I am sir!! So I let him know our situation and he took care of getting me the mail. This post office is about 5 minutes from our office so it was super easy to get there and back. I was also impressed at how friendly he was and how good the service was at a post office. Ten out of ten.

I asked if they had cameras and they told me they did not that's a government building and they don't have camera so be aware when you go into Creston station on Foster road in Portland Oregon on off times when there's no employees visible they don't have camera so anybody could rob you in that place and nobody will know. They have extended hours, staying open until 6:30 in weekenights, rather than the typical 5mor 5:30pm. My only complaint is the 2nd door to enter is soooo heavy and a challenge to push open for those of us with strength and shoulder issues. They should have a handicapped button to enable easy access for those in a wheelchair, and people like me with chronic shoulder issues. There is a ramp out front for those unable to climb the set of 5 steps.

She seems to serve no purpose to the function of the establishment, as she literally just sits there. The second time, I asked if I could just leave my package on the counter since it's pre-paid, & she responded to me like I was stupid & like my question was completely I convenient for her. When I recently went to send in my passport renewal, the woman at the desk was able to save me money by using a flat rate envelope over the legal mailer I brought in.
