There were plenty of places to park around the post office. The clerk was friendly and worked as fast as he could. They would definitely benefit from having another clerk. The line took a while while I was there. It's the post office so it's never the cleanest and prices are what they are. They have a self service area right when you walk in but it didn't have what I needed the post office for. Why do they have Asian employee Bruce at front desk? He obviously doesn't like customers. I have had several other clerks wait on me at this location and they have been both helpful and courteous. Bruce was NEITHER. I asked how much extra for a thick Xmas card I brought with me. He weighed it and He said it would cost $1.01. I told him I had forever stamps and I would like to purchase the difference in cost for stamps for Xmas cards. (I didn't know how much the forever stamps are worth in 2024) That way I could use the forever stamp plus the additional priced stamp ($.28). He told me "just put 2 forever stamps on them". Why would I want to pay $1.46 per Xmas card when it only costs $1.01 to mail them???????? I had to request 3 times for him to sell me the .28 stamps and he acted like I was so putting him out. UGH. I will wait in line to have anyone BUT BRUCE help me next time. It isn't worth the aggravation of being treated like garbage by a federal employee who makes his living from my taxes!!! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I tried so hard to get to the post office before they locked the doors to the PO Boxes on Friday at 6:30pm. I left work and rushed over there to arrive at 6:28! Whew! Got a notification that mail carrier from this location "attempted delivery". I literally watched her drive pass making no attempt. This isn't the first time either. She honestly can't be bothered unless one of us goes all the way out for packages. And Per usual no one can answer the phone from this location, and that's been going LONG before COVID. read more

I tried to call this location at 11 AM four times, 1 PM three times, 2 PM three times, and 4:30 PM, FOUR MORE TIMES and still got no answer. After googling where I can get a Photo ID that can be used as an acceptable form of identification (for things like buying cigarettes, lottery tickets or alcohol) , I decided to go in in person and just simply ask the clerk what I need to get a photo ID card, because I misplaced my license and just need SOMETHING that has a photo to identify me. I patiently waited in line behind the only customer in there at 5pm on Friday November 25 2020. I got to the counter and politely asked Bruce what exactly I would need to bring to get a photo ID/passport card because it says I can get one here on their website, but I was having trouble finding where exactly online I could start this process, when I asked him what I needed to bring, he said that's a DMV problem. I then repeated I don't want a drivers license, I just want a simple photo identification so a passport card or something along those lines. Not a passport book, but the passport ID cards. Which if he has even worked there for a week or two should know that those are an acceptable form of identification. He then proceeded to treat me rudely and tell me that he can't do a damn thing for me, and I need to just go to the DMV. But he wouldn't even tell me if they could do passport cards or any sort of photo ID whatsoever. I then left and walked outside feeling like he could have at the very least given me SOME sort of information regarding where I can get a photo ID, and feeling like I had just been talked down to and I didn't appreciate that one bit. Seems like it's been a bad year for compassion. As I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this review, I see a USPS driver exit his delivery vehicle pushing the rest of the mail towards the back door in a cart, so I approached him and asked him if he knows if this location offers the passport cards, and he said they will take applications for the actual passport booklet, but that's it. Everything else is done at the dmv, and he said I may be able to find a usps location that does the cards, but he's not sure. He said best bet was to go to the dmv in person cause appts are booked two months out in the entire state. I thanked him for helping me and giving me information about what my next steps should be. This right here is how you should treat your customers Bruce instead of giving off this vibe that we're all stupid, and that if we'd all just F off, everything would be just dandy for Bruce. Well, unfortunately for both you and I, you are employed here apparently. How about you do it with a positive attitude or a smile? If you don't like the field that you're in, and you don't want to treat people with respect, FIND A NEW JOB BRUCE! The mailman chucked my 900$ Graphics Card into our backyard instead of leaving it on our porch like a normal person. I have received a refund (I believed the item to be missing this past week) until I noticed a very soggy, ruined amazon package sitting covered in dirt in my backyard. It was very heavy, and when opened it was waterlogged and unusable. On top of this, my second GPU I ordered with signature delivery this time never came and when I rescheduled the delivery it also never showed up. If you schedule for a pick up, you would think the mailman will swing by your porch (where I've schedule for them to pick it up from) and pick it up. This is not the first time this has happened. The other day the mailman just rolled by my porch and took off. Luckily my husband saw the her "swinging" by. So he packed up the car with my packages and chased the mailman down. Once he caught up to her he had advised her that there were packages on the porch and asked why she didn't pick it up. Her response "I didn't see any packages". If you didn't get out of your truck how are you going to see my packages on my porch? SMH! So my husband handed her the packages and advised her to get out of her truck next time cause packages will be sitting out on the porch for a schedule pick up. Well guess what? She didn't pick up my packages AGAIN yesterday. Why schedule a pick up for the mailman to do their job if you aren't going to get out of your truck, walk up, and pick up packages? These packages are mainly priority mail that needs to go out. Now my customers have to wait even longer for their packages cause SOMEONE is not doin their job. STOP BEING SO LAZY! Paid the extra fees and larger space for an address instead of the P.O. Box #. Been here 2x and feel far worse leaving then arriving. Was told no one can help me, try online. Crossing my fingers that this can be sorted out online because coming in physically was not helpful but I really thought after going in circles trying to call in for help that face to face might be the key. Although the post office worker couldn't help me with my issue directly (my address was in a different zip code than their service area), The worker was so helpful and gave me a phone number and inside information about how to get a timely response from the Lents Post Office. I didn't grab his name so I couldn't call him out specifically in this review but he appeared to be a manager of sorts and was so very helpful.
