One of the most bizarre phone calls I've ever had. I called to ask if I could have a mail key duplicated... "Oh the guy who does that is gone for the day," Okay, I try asking when he's going to be back... "Uhh... he's... dead...?" Before I can even say that I'm sorry to hear that, the lady then says... I doubt I will be back. Here's why: Late this afternoon I was in Gresham and needed to photocopy a short document to mail off today. I used Yelp to find photocopy services and found this business & a FedEx Office Center roughly equidistant but in opposite directions. I was actually closer to FedEx, but since I believe in supporting LOCAL small business, and it was close enough to home to possibly be my new 'go-to' for such services, I decided to check them out. Surprise! Unless you spend $5 or more, it is CASH ONLY. ((It would have been great if that were noted on this Yelp page). Since I only had a debit card on me, I explained my dilemma. No dice. I was given a nonchalant 'sorry', without any flexibility (or feeling for that matter.). By now it was too late to drive in the opposite direction and still get my document in the mail. I would have been willing to pay an extra 50 cents or so surcharge, but that wasn't offered. I could have spent an extra $4 or so I guess.., but from the less than helpful attitude I got the strong impression that they didn't really care if they lost a new customer or not, so I wasn't interested in spending any money there, much less extra for something I didn't need.. So much for that 'friendly' service that a few effusive reviews here mention. Makes me wonder who wrote them. I'll drop by my FedEx tomorrow morning.. (Almost as convenient anyway.) If not for this sour experience, this local small business could have gained a new customer (& if they did well, referrals). Gotta wonder if that policy is saving them more money than they are losing in customer acquisition costs. read more

This review for the owner or the manager of this location. I wanted to ship a package over sea using DHL. I came here on Friday 22 around 4:00 PM. For international shipping, it can be complex. Sometimes there is no local carrier. The shipping company has to call the receiver to pickup the package locally. It's very important to have a correct phone number. There were 2 ladies helped me to the package. One was being very smart ass running her mouth nonstop. She should had talked less and listen more. She created a shipping package with shipper and receiver for the same phone. I told her to correct that. I know for sure the shipping company would need a correct phone number for receiver. She won't do it. She said it should be ok writing the phone number on the box. Really? When I asked her to correct it, she wasn't happy. Well guess what, I do not want the shipping company calling me in the middle of the night to correct a local phone number. I just think it costed me almost $500 to ship a package. I wasn't treated right for the mistake they made. When I asked to escalate the problem to the manager, one of them step up and said she was a manager. Oh yeah really? Well whoever own this place needs to monitor your employees. U hire 2 monkeys running a circus that will push your customers to somewhere else. Friendly neighborhood shop. For whatever reason doing this kind of work stresses me out so it was a big relief finding them.

The staff here are extremely competent and very helpful. You'll pay a little bit more but you also won't have to wait in a long line.

Probably the worst customer service ever. The old man is always scowling at me when I walk in and ignores my small talk, like I am talking to the wall. He also refuses to acknowledge my thank you and never says you're welcome or bye have a nice day. How are places like this still in business? Is your job that difficult that you can't even be courtesy and polite to your customers? I am pretty sure his beef with me is that I always drop of prepaid packages and never actually pay them any real money. The deal is though, Fedex and USPS both pay them a percentage of the shipping fee for taking in the packages, that is how the system works, so there is no reason for them to be off putting about my drop offs. Rarely a lady works in place of the old man, and she is courteous and polite. From now on I will be dropping off at the store on 181st from now on, even though this 162nd store is closer and more convenient. ! read more

I have been going here for years. They are always very helpful and polite. They also have a bin for Snocap, so I usually drop a donation off. I could use a different location, but I have always been impressed with the service. Thanks for being part of the neighborhood!! read more
