I want to give him an extra accolade for navigating two spray-tanned skanks who failed to schedule an appointment for their passports and they started yelling at him (and blaming us for cutting in front of them--we had an appointment). I went to this post office yesterday late afternoon and the guy postal worker there was very rude to me. I told him I was new at returning a package back to the sender! Instead of him explaining to me politely about instructions he yelled at me infront of customers and embarrassed me! He was trying to get rid of me! I used to ship a lot of packages out of here but in the last month and a half, three of seven packages have gone missing. Two were never scanned and one was scanned but never made it past Vancouver. I am 100% convinced someone who works here is stealing packages, go somewhere else or use UPS! read more

I rented a PO Box online. I discovered when I went to check my mail that there is no access to the PO boxes outside of the window service hours. None of this is reflected online. I don't recall that being mentioned when I picked up my keys. I'm lucky to be able to access my mail 3 days a week. read more

we went in to change our address and we're just a little confused on what they were trying to explain to us. the man who helped up got visibly upset that we weren't understanding. so we said we can see your upset so we'll just leave and he replied that we weren't listening! we left without anything getting accomplished. I use this post office weekly. They always have at least 2 people taking customers. They will add a 3rd if the line gets too long. People are generally impatient and come to the counter unprepared so they get upset but it's NOT the employees fault. I have worked with everyone Michelle is my favorite because that woman is efficient. The employees only have so much control over the USPS "rules" they just work there. I wish customers were kinder. read more

I love my neighborhood post office! I have had nothing but friendly, helpful employees here who have assisted me with the most random things. I have a son in the military and have sent plenty of packages to various military base locations! For awhile I was shipping stuff to his former girlfriend who was in the Peace Corp in Panama. And, and another son is away at college...so I do plenty of care packages! Yes, the parking lot is a cluster when they get busy...plan accordingly and try to go at off times or just be patient. And, don't forget they have more parking in the back! The drive up mailboxes are wonderful and appreciated. Love my USPS location! read more

I don't really expect the thrill of my life when walking into USPS (you're not going to Nordstroms) but the employees here are really nice compared to a number of the entitled folks who come in and are pissed off because there is a line. The mood some people bring into the building is less than desirable. It's a thankless job and I've always have been thanked and I always thank the staff. Maybe we all just need to live in a kinder world. I've been coming here weekly for 3+ years and never had an issue with the service at all. I am saddened that USPS had to reduce their hours due to the homeless and those who choose to vandalize public property but that's the world we live in until we decide to take back our cities. read more

Today I learned a hard lesson. Been using this Post Office for many years because it is open late at night and they have an automated machine that prints out the stamps for box shipment. Every year I send Christmas Presents to my family, plus I ship numerous eBay items out of this office. Never had a problem, ever. Yep, you guessed it, two weeks ago I dropped an eBay item worth over $300 into the drop box inside this office, and it never showed up as scanned IN. I always wondered why people wait in line. Well, now I know...Drop off you don't SEE them scan it IN as received. I won't make that mistake again, everyone there says they have never seen that box, I have no recourse, I'm screwed. Had to issue an eBay refund, all my eBay revenue for this year wiped out... read more

I have never been to a post office that has provided great customer service. My priority box could not be used to mail my package. I was unaware of this, and instead of making me buy a brand new box, Tim gave me a used one, and even tapped it for me. This is foreign to my previous experiences with post offices. I wish they all had employees like him. read more

Worst customer service ever. The clerk offered to put a label on my priority package and led me to believe she did that but she didn't and she just shipped the package out with no address. Now they're telling me I can't have it back. It's so frustrating I will never use this post office again. This is like the fifth time I've had issues here. read more

I have had this post office mis-deliver mail, and lose mail that I put into the outside drop boxes, resulting in late payments and late charges even though I mailed the bills long before they were due. I am so disgusted that I have to pay to have mail sent out that never arrives, or is sent to the wrong place. Do a better job guys!!!!!!!!! read more

Really had a great experience here. I was a pain of a customer, but Eva was super courteous and kind. She took care of my issues in a timely manner without making me feel unimportant, but so she could get through the rest of the cue. Overall very well run post office, I was impressed! read more

I know it's weird to like a post office, but the people here are just nice. They're fun, down to earth, normal people with personalities. I say this because many of the other POs in the area have mindless robots working behind the counter. Also, it helps that this is my neighborhood post office. The parking lot sucks during peak hours, but that's pretty consistent with any other PO. read more

Major shout out and kudos to the post office. John @ the parcel post office in cascade Park not only helped me track it further, but then our Mailman tracked, too and explained to me where it was and what happens from here. That was yesterday. John called me this morning to tell me he would personally look for it today and call me. It got processed ASAP this morning and a message was left for me this morning that it was at our PO Box. Went to the Post Office to pick it up and they were so nice. They were short staffed and we're still kind and super helpful with a smile on their faces. On the Saturday before Christmas no less. Horrible customer service. Tried calling 2 times in a row and calls where just ended. Called a third time and they picked up and hung up right away. First to review? Wow, I'm surprised. I stopped by this USPS location this afternoon on my lunch break to mail out my Save the Date notifications. I was anticipating waiting in a line almost out the door since that is what I usually experienced when I worked in downtown Portland and would visit the post office at lunch. I had even looked up the address for this location on Google Maps and they let me know Tuesday at lunch was their busiest time. Oh great. I was pleasantly surprised there was only one person ahead of me when I walked in the door! Score! The lady at the counter was the furthest thing from unpleasant - which is surprising for postal workers. She happily weighed my envelope and let me pick out which stamps I wanted to buy. Super helpful. I'll definitely frequent this location for my future postal needs. read more

My favorite USPS store in the whole country. They are so efficient and very friendly. I was not expecting that, honestly.

I've gone in this post office so many times and they always label my boxes for me, today I went in and the lady said they have never ever done that before multiple times basically telling me I'm an idiot. Every time I go in there the same woman is like this. Get your staff in check, because I promise you they label the boxes when you're not there. This post office location, as all of them do, gets pretty busy and lines can go all the way out the door on occasion - however, Bev and Lupita are the two regular employees that I see often and they are both exceptional. I come here quite a bit for work, sometimes for fairly complicated things and they have warm, friendly personalities even when dealing with cranky customers, are always very helpful and thorough, and they work hard to reduce the lines pretty fast. Overall, they manage to make trips to the post office a pleasant experience and I can't praise them enough! read more

I needed to ship something overnight today & the cut off for sending out is 4:00... The clerk was so so awesome when I arrived at 3:55 & needed advice on which box to pack my goods in. She helped me hurry to get my package ready to go & at 3:59 she got my package in the cart to be shipped out.
