I wrote a review yesterday, disgusted because my packages ROUTINELY AND FOR YEARS have arrived later than the FEDEX web site says they will. Fedex phoned me today to explain why. All Fedex users should read their explanation. Fedex says: Their tracking system sends out pre-programmed information that does NOT reflect the reality of where your package is at any moment. Their tracking system (which portrays itself as being accurate information) tells you where and when FEDEX hopes (predicts) the package will be at any given time! Fedex does NOT explain that on their web site. Users are given the tracking system's info as reality while Fedex knows the information will in many cases have nothing to do with reality. IN OTHER WORDS, FEDEX'S TRACKING SYSTEM IS DELIBERATELY SENDING YOU FALSE INFORMATION AND PORTRAYING IT AS REAL. When I explained to the Fedex rep who called me that I don't like their system because it is false information, SHE SLAMMED THE PHONE ON ME. I had in no way been abusive. I was simply and rightfully complaining about this problem. When I tried to call Fedex back and talk to her supervisor (hoping the call was recorded) their phone line was so bad that every word was broken up and I couldn't understand anything. Fed ex Troutdale is a black hole! Everytime I get something thru fed ex it is 3-8 days late. It sits at Troutdale til they finally discover it after numerous phone calls to them. Update on my 49 lb. package that was given a unauthorized address correction at the Troutdale hub and then sent to a mystery address in another state. I was able to stop delivery when I saw the error and the package was then supposedly rerouted back to Oregon, the state it was supposed to be delivered in. Package has had a trace on it, which apparently serves absolutely no purpose because since Saturday, the package now does not show any info on where it has traveled. It has simply fallen off the radar. Package was shipped from vendor on the 3rd of November. Today is the 23rd. Today, when I checked with Fed Ex on the trace#, I was told, since it has been two weeks since the date of delivery, to just go ahead and file a loss claim. So my question is; when did the package actually become lost? It tracked back to the Phoenix AZ. hub over the weekend. The package did not become "lost" until the trace was applied to it. WTF FedEX? I thought tracing would actually keep track of its route back to me, but apparently the contents must've been something someone in shipping decided was worth keeping. You need to be investigated. This is not my first rodeo with you. I have begged my vendors not to use you, but apparently they are under contract to do so. I am going to be looking for new sources for my inventory--ones that DO NOT use FED EX. This location is the worst. I have never understood why a package is delivered to Salem just to be transferred to Troutdale. I live in Molalla and they practically drive near Molalla. Salem has their stuff together. Troutdale is awful. I am so frustrated by the Fedex Troutdale. Doesn't Fedex ever read the ratings? They must have a manager there that is related to a higher up. I order pet food from Chewy.com regularly. With the same regularity, FEDEX fails to deliver my pet food. I've been told that it is not the usual FEDEX delivery people that deliver my Amazon packages or other packages routinely and almost flawlessly. I'm told this is FEDEX ground crew, but I don't know if that is accurate. It is hard to get an honest answer from FEDEX. In the current situation, FEDEX first said delivery would be Friday, then Sat, then Sun. I just got a text ten minutes ago, saying that they attempted delivery - that's a lie. The text also said that they would make a FINAL attempt tomorrow when they have not made a single attempt. My packages from Chewy, when they do get delivered, are usually left hundreds of feet from my house. The packages have been left at the street, at my mailbox (600 feet away), alongside the street, in a neighbor's yard (totally different street) or not delivered at all. Pathetic. You call customer service and someone assures you that they understand - no, they don't. FEDEX does not care. They lie routinely. I once got to speak to a supervisor who actually followed through, but I had to call him every time I ordered from Chewy to ensure that I would get my package. But he got transferred and I have yet to find anyone who cares. read more

What is the deal with the Troutdale, OR location? Why are packages being held for a week there? Maybe this location needs to close if they aren't able to staff it properly. Many people pay very high shipping prices and NOT for deliveries that take 2 weeks! FedEx, I would be embarrassed! read more

The Troutdale , Or fed ex location is absolutely horrible to work with. Was supposed to receive my package 2 days ago. The tracking information showed it arrived on Sunday and was supposed to deliver Wednesday. It is now Thursday. The tracking information has not been updated since Sunday and nobody at fed ex can tell me when or where my package is. I called their customer support center and asked them if they have an update. No update. I asked if they can confirm if the package is at the Troutdale , Or location and can I just come and pick it up. They will need to call me back. Waited all day for a call back. No call back. Called them twice more, first call sent me straight to a survey based on my call experience. I never spoke to anyone. Gave them a 1 out of 10. still waiting on eternal hold for 50 minutes. UGGGHHHHH! Held for over an hour and 15 minutes, system hung up on me. Never spoke with anyone. Not a happy customer. read more

If the option was available, I would give zero stars. Ordering from Walmart often delivers with OnTrac. When I went into my account to look at the delivery status, it showed they were using FedEx. I've had terrible issues with Troutdale FedEx where an example includes a package from another business had been shown to be sitting in their facility for almost three weeks before it was delivered. So I was surprised to see the FedEx truck pull up to my home soon after. I waited for the driver to deliver my package but instead suddenly drove off. I called their office to see what happened, where someone in shipping "promised" to call me back. He never did. Instead, I went onto their website where the delivery status says "delivery exception" and that an attempt was made a couple of hours ago. No one came to my door to deliver anything. Now it says I must wait until tomorrow. Ridiculous. And what's more, is that Walmart is using them again to deliver another package. Will I receive either? A MAJOR GAMBLE!!! read more

My item has been sitting here for 5 days. Everyday it says its suppose to be delivered that day and keeps changing. Ive heard nothing bad bad things about this place. No one to talk to. Tracking said package was delivered, but I was home at said time of delivery and received no package. I put a claim in, and once they saw that it was delivered, they just closed the claim. Apparently they also don't have anyone I can email, and im trying to jump through hoops just to talk to an actual person. it also took over 30mins before I was acutally able to talk to a real person in their customer service department. At this point I will go out of my way to use businesses that don't use fedex, or just pay more for a different shipping carrier. read more

Absolutely terrible. FedEx has become a joke. Package made its was to Portland late last Saturday night, to be delivered Monday the 20th. Since then has been moved around the Portland area every 12 hours or so. Called the day after it was supposed to be delivered and started a claim and was supposed to hear back in 24 hours. Waited 48, didn't hear anything, called back a second time. After the second call, package actually started moving to the Troutdale facility, where it was slated for delivery this afternoon. Just got notification that no delivery attempt was made and my delivery is pushed to tomorrow the 25th, with no option for pick up. The excuse that they are dealing with the aftermath of the pandemic is absolute bollucks since they seem to be the only delivery company having an issue. I will be asking sellers if they plan on sending my item via FedEx from now on and if they are I will request another carrier or will purchase my item from another vendor. read more

I order a heater that they said would be delivered on Friday. Checked the tracking and it got held up and was rescheduled for Monday, was below freezing all weekend. Had a Family get together that weekend, had to buy portable heaters. Monday came and went no heater, Tuesday no heater. Check the tracking and it's setting in Spokane, they say it's a weather delay, bullshit the roads are clear. UPS is still delivering. Now I have to drive to town and pick it up, over an hour drive. Glad the shipping was free, called the company and told them to change shippers. Customer service sucks at Fedex, took 5 minutes to get through to talk to someone. read more

I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. They do not care about their customers one bit, it's disgusting. I drove to their pick-up location two days in a row because my package was delayed on the day it was supposed to arrive. I then called them the same day to get some information, and the lady HUNG UP on me after saying she would call me back, and then never called back. The first time I went, they told me customer service closes at 12, and then today when I arrived at 9 am, they said they wouldn't grab it for me because it was in a truck that they didn't feel like unlocking and going through; because they didn't feel like it! And then, when I asked if I could be given a guarantee that I can pick it up tomorrow, they said "maybe, we'll have to wait and see," so then, when I asked if it will be shipped to my house (which is only 10 minutes away from location) they said they couldn't guarantee that because of the "fires" in Oregon, when there hasn't been a fire in Northern Oregon in over a week. This is absolute BS and I will never use FedEx every again. They had absolutely no interest in helping me at all, and they can frankly all go to hell. read more

I was shipped a package from a retailer and the FEDEX site indicated I'd get it Monday. I decided to check on Saturday night and the site said it was delivered that day and on my porch. BUT when I checked, no package. So I called an agent and he immediately set up a "case #" for investigation. The next morning, Sunday, in the light of day, I FOUND THE BOX OUT BY MY GATE. I tried to call FEDEX again to cancel the claim but could not be connected to an agent. So Sunday morning I tried again, got an agent and cancelled the claim. About 30 minutes later a person called and said he was taking charge of the case and wanted more details. I told him I'd just cancelled the claim. Everyone at FEDEX was very helpful and although the package was not on my porch, it was safe inside my gate so no problem. Thank you FEDEX for a job well done! i don't know why this center has such a bad review. i have always had good luck with them, and just now, i found out a package could not be delivered because the store had forgotten my apartment number.
