This place is like a dream. They have, by far, the best service and lowest prices of anyone in the LA area. They're like a hidden gem for appliances and you should consider yourself lucky to have discovered them for yourself. When my washing machine went out (drain pump frozen), it was a no-brainer to simply replace it with a high-efficiency, new machine. The old Frigidaire lasted a good ten years, but with the rapid advancement in technology, replacing the old clunker with a state-of-the-art unit was an easy decision to make, once I talked to the knowledgeable crew here. I was able to pick their brains to make sure I got exactly what I needed, and scheduled my installation for a Saturday (yes, a Saturday!). Got a call in the morning with my scheduled window and a call 45 minutes before the team arrived. The two installers, Eric and Jose, were polite, knowledgable, and eager to fulfill my needs. A quick measurement of my laundry closet and they knew it would be a tight squeeze, but confident they would make it work. They even had booties for their shoes to make sure my home stayed nice and clean, and hoses, connectors, adapters, whatever is needed, unlike some places that want to nickel-and-dime you for all that stuff. I could rave about them all day, but this is Yelp, and I have days worth of laundry to catch up on. Just look at all of their positive reviews and skip all the big warehouse stores. We've been clients of Feders for many years and have spent hundreds of thousands over the years with them. As we have acquired more properties our requirement for quick turnaround and detailed info on our orders has increased. Unfortunately, the salesman we have been working with for years does not follow through or respond in a timely manner so I contacted the owners son who took over for his father. I explained the situation to him in detail: I want to continue working with them but need to work with a salesman who is responsive, thorough and detailed. Rather than work with me, he basically told me that they cannot meet our needs and sent me a f**k you response. This is what happens when you hand your business to your son who doesn't understand the importance of customer retention or satisfaction. read more

Avoid this business. We came in here recently and the owner, Joe, is unbelievably unprofessional. My wife and I ordered a high end fridge, had it installed, and then it stopped working within a week. Stuff happens, not their fault. When I called and asked for their help in repairing it Joe became extremely unprofessional and started yelling at us. He made no effort to try to find middle ground and just talk, his default is yelling and belittling. They'll be sweet and nice up front, but the minute you need help they'll turn on you. It's easy to be professional when everything is working, but you get a true sense of customer service when things don't pan out as planned. My recommendation would be to spend a bit more money and go somewhere they treat you like a person, and not a sale. read more

I purchased my refrigerator from Sam when he worked for another appliance company. I was so happy with the experience that I called him when my mother in law needed a washing machine and he told me about Feder's appliances. I took my mother in law to see some washing machines and they had a much larger selection and a friendly atmosphere, the salesmen were not pushy, they were honest and professional. What can I say other than amazing job. I am more than pleased with the work that Hugo and Filipe did. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Took old A/C out and put new one in. Not an easy job! My building is a bit old and the A/C was sealed in the wall and roof. Made the Job almost impossible, plus they had to access the roof which was no easy feat in itself. This company is terrible. I brought a washing machine. Thought it was a good price- after a week it broke. They would not take back- they would not fix and they would not help. Told me to call manufacturer. I bought a real lemon. It has been a drama for no reason. I should of stuck to Barretts, more expensive but great customer service and not a rip off.
