Terrible service. I bought a fridge from here and I had to pick it up a different day. My fiancé and I told them we were coming in the afternoon on Saturday. The guy who helped us said we could pick it up before 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, my fiancé calls to confirm closing time with the the guy over the phone but he was told that they close at 3:00 p.m. Realizing that he has less time to pack his items in the Uhaul, He told the guy over the phone that he would be there before closing (3:00 p.m.). We were loading all of our furniture into our new place first because Uhaul charges by the distance it's 2:33 p.m. so my fiancé calls the guy to let him know that we're swinging by in 15-20 minutes. The guy gets mad and says pickup time is at 2:30 p.m. but no one informed us. My fiancé says that the uhaul is only for today and really needs the fridge so the guy says he will leave the fridge in the back for us so my fiancé drives to the back and when he talks to the guy at the door, he proceeds to tell him that our fridge is in the front and doesn't allow us to come to the front to pick up the fridge. Long story short, we have to rent a uhaul solely to pick up this fridge on Monday. It is extremely upsetting that once they get my money, my fiancé and I are treated like garbage due to their lack of communication. We have to spend extra money and take time off of work to pick up this fridge all because their workers can't communicate a simple detail. Why does the customer have to constantly call and ask for information only to be misinformed. I will never be going back here and I will be warning all of my friends who are moving to steer clear of this place. Plus when we were buying the fridge one of their workers put the sold sign on the wrong dishwasher. Very unprofessional and it gave me great anxiety about buying from this place but we wanted to have faith. The fridges in this place are a great deal. They have minor cosmetic defects which means that they are sold at a heavy discount. If you're going to buy a fridge from here, please be ready to haul the fridge yourself. read more

Our friend raved about this place. We happen to have the need to change our cooktop and other kitchen appliances. So we decided to check it out. It's smaller than I expected but it has pretty good selections for brands and appliances. The first thing caught my eyes was the Smeg Vintage refrigerators. It's less than $2000. What a deal. We were extremely pleased to have found a Viking 48 inch double oven range to replace our Thermador 48 inch professional range at a price that actually was less than the cost of our Thermador range when it was new 20 years ago. The outlet carries some very nice high end appliances by various manufacturers. They refer you to a trucking company from pickup and delivery. Carlos Castro and his crew are very reasonably priced. Were willing to deal with the removal and haul away of the old range and were willing to work on the installation of the back splash and warming shelf. They are so shady when we reached out yet again regarding one of the appliances making very loud noises that were not normal, the owner responded stating it's phone interference. I bought a $6,000 36" Bertazzoni Dual Fuel Range for $3,000. It was stored for over a month while the kitchen was being remodeled. However,when it was finally installed I found it was missing the broiler pan and a pair of telescopic oven rack glides. The owner said he had to order them from his supplier and they arrived 5 days later. No hassle, no run around, just very good service. I love saving money so I was ok with few dings here and there but, items I purchased were over five years old as per manufacturer. If I were the owners, I would offer solutions or recommend a repair person besides, "Not my problem attitude", I would not be purchasing from this establishment. This place is a gold mine if you are able to spend time to carefully absorb the inventory, inspect the products, and quickly compare to appliance boutiques. Robert is a good sales manager. He answers questions carefully and invites you to do what you need to do to feel comfortable with your decision. The owners are nice guys that run a solid business. They could grow this place is marketing and a good social strategy, but then it would take away from the treasure hunt feel. The store could use more space and have a better layout to view the products. Would be helpful if they graded the products so you know what's essentially flawless versus factory refurbished. The brands they carry is superb. Thermador, Gaggenau, BlueStar, and Bosch. They have tons of Viking, but that's a brand with some challenges. If outdoor kitchens are your thing, they have that too. read more

This is the worst appliance purchase I have every bought. First the burners would only boil or burn everything. It took us a year to figure out how to get them to simmer which only one burner does. The grates are covered with some black greasy film that ruins everything it touches. The inside of the oven was dirty, obviously used and returned. Would have returned it myself if we didn't have to drag it all the back from Ventura since they don't deliver. The side of the stove has permanent streak marks. Stay away from Fisher & Paykel and this place. I guess the saying "You get what you pay for" is certainty true in this case and it wasn't cheap either. read more

Bought a junk $2000 Fisher-Paykal stove from these guys. Repairman has been out 8 times. Wife has spent 20 hours on the phone with them. "Sorry we can't take it back." I was shopping for another high end refrigerator to replace a 15 year old Thermador. Prices were unreal but then I found Appliance Outlet. I really took a blind chance and bought a Viking refrigerator unseen over the phone with Robert. Robert assured me that the unit was brand new which it was and the refrigerator would be in excellent condition. The Viking is as Robert described and is perfect. My wife and I bought a Blue Star stove and hood with a giant refrigerator. We love our appliances. I wish the entire transaction ran smoother. Interesting place. There are many high-end appliances that are beat up. Sure they have a high-end logo on them but most are used and look rough. Some prices are comparable to new that are on sale from big box stores. Carefully research products by model numbers. Could be a good find? Maybe? We chose to not take the risk at buying from here because it is still expensive and you are buying someone else returned problem appliance. read more

We saved over $4000 on outfitting our house with appliances - washer/dryer, dishwasher and single built-in oven. All are high end brand names (Fisher Paykel, GE Monogram and Bosch) with minimal cosmetic damage (amazing what a tiny scratch will do to price!). All appliances work perfectly. There was no pressure to purchase - the appliances move so fast, these folks don't have to sell you anything. While I was paying, someone called in to see if the washer/dryer set I was buying was still available. Go in there when you are ready to make a purchase and have done your research already - chances are that you'll fall in love and it won't be there when you come back. We did not buy all appliances here because they did not have everything I wanted at the time but we still saved a bundle! And we got extended warranties on top of factory warranties - I feel really good about my purchases. I went back a second time to look for a small low end chest freezer and did end up buying it - it was broken (defective). The store gave me a full refund plus the delivery charge I had paid - While it was a headache, I would go back again based on the integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction that these folks work by. I don't recommend looking for low end items here - they specialize in the big names that cost way too much and have locked in MSRP prices - they do have everything though- small wine fridges, microwaves, even dishwashers that are ready for custom cabinet fronts. If you have a big enough car, I recommend moving the items yourself but if like me, you have a tiny car, their recommended mover Oscar is really great to work with and quite reasonable. read more

I ordered two bench-top ovens online from Appliance Outlet (orders 1 week apart). There was no indication on the orders that the appliances were not new. The first one was brand new but the 2nd one was not clean and missing some parts. That was when I was told it was refurbished, not new and was not happy...... but they SENT ME ANOTHER OVEN - just to fix up the issue. Could not believe it - what other company would do this? Clearly if you're reading this - You are a good shopper. The VERY helpful Robert will guide you to the best deal, (meaning damage that is cosmetic and you REALLY have to search for. I imagine you would agree that a hairline scratch on a dishwasher, on the door top , where it will sit under the countertop is acceptable for a 50% discount on a dream appliance. Many of the Appliances have no damage! I would say, go to the outlet when you are ready to buy in the next 2 days - they get regular deliveries; but if you fall in love with a range, or hood, or fridge - they move fast! The dryer turned out to have some issues and he generously offered to take it back with a full refund for the dryer. I can't way how much I appreciated how supportive he was with what could have been a difficult situation. I originally wrote a negative review for this store. Once it posted, Lee called to find out why I was unhappy. I told him & he said he would do whatever it took to make me happy. He was able to get a repairman out to our home & it turns out that the machine is not compatible with our wiring. We are returning it today for a full refund. Wow! I cannot say enough nice things about this place. My husband and I have been looking for appliances for our new home for several months.
