I had a very frustrating experience with Twin Appliances / Jose. We had a written text agreement for a new LG WT8200CW washer and LG DLG6101W gas dryer for $950 installed, including delivery, installation, new hoses/connectors, testing, and written warranty/receipt paperwork. On the first delivery attempt, he brought a different washer than the model we agreed on, then said he would bring the agreed washer only if I paid $100 more. At first, I wanted him to honor our written agreement and tried to negotiate a $50 compromise, but he did not respond to my texts. I later agreed to his higher $1,050 price to try to resolve the matter. We then scheduled delivery for the next day around noon. However, he did not respond to my texts or calls around the scheduled delivery time, and he never texted me when he was on the way as he had said he would. Later in the afternoon, he said he had gone to Lancaster for another job and moved the appointment to 3:30 pm. Communication was difficult and delayed. Before delivery, he then requested a $250 Zelle payment before coming, which I declined because the appliances had not yet been delivered or installed as agreed. At his request, I sent a $1 test Zelle payment with a memo stating it was only a test and not a payment or deposit. He said he did not receive it, even though I sent him a screenshot showing I had attempted the test payment. After that, he said he was no longer willing to proceed, even though I offered to send the test payment again after confirming the correct phone number or email address. In the end, no washer/dryer set was delivered or installed. Based on my experience, if you decide to buy here, I would be cautious and recommend getting all model numbers, serial numbers, payment terms, warranty terms, and delivery/install details clearly confirmed in writing before relying on this business. If the agreement changes, I would seriously consider walking away. read more

Amazing service! Best appliances ever, my washer has not broke down ever, bought it over a year ago!

I reached out to Jose about my relatively new LG large fridge that stopped letting out water or ice. He sent his crew out to check it right away and they found out that the problem is beyond what they can fix, after a thorough inspection. They did not lie to me or try to take advantage of my ignorance and do some quackery. They respectfully declined and refunded my deposit for part purchase and even waived my service charge. I truly appreciate their customer service and care. Thank you read more

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Horrible horrible costomer service. My parents Samsung refrigerador broke down & we called Twins Appliances to take a look. Turns out a piece is broken & they have to order a new one. So we made a huge mistake and trusted the owner of this business and paid them 600$ up front. For the mean time they gave us a fridge that lasted a week because it broke down and all the food we got went bad! Another 200$ worth of food down the drain. So they sent us another fridge in the meantime but it's much smaller and is taking extra space in our kitchen. Apparently their technician was sick for 2 weeks now and can't help us. We don't know what to do or who to talk to because they always say they're coming on a certain day and they don't end up coming. We keep trying to get a hold of the owner but he's just dodging our calls and texts. read more

Worst place ever!!! Scammer scammer !! These F!! Will rob your money don't buy from them trust me l!!' Please I beg you no to go here Trust me these people will rob your money 100% guarantee, professional con artist, bad business practices read more

I hate to leave only 2 stars because they actually were decent to me and my roommate and the service was fine except, and this is a BIG WARNING ... my fridge came with stow-aways in the form of cockroaches. I without a doubt did not have any issues with roaches before the fridge arrived and within a couple of days I noticed little roaches around the fridge at night and when i turn the lights on, they all run DIRECTLY to the fridge. Please be vigilant when buying used appliances ... I only did it cause i was essentially broke at the time and had no other option that was as cheap. i'll probably never do it again. read more

Jose is awesome(the owner) we are a local family in reseda and he did not charge shipping and installation because they had to cancel the first delivery he was very nice and respectful I recommend this local gem read more

I had a man named Victor come to my house and repair my washer. Said I was missing a piece and he would order it but proceeded to never get back to me afterwards. read more

*Not reliable*Buyer Beware* I wouldn't recommend this business. Bought a used appliance from here thinking it would at least last some time, but it didn't even last two months. Kept having to call the owner to fix the issue and at the end he wouldn't answer, got completely ghosted. The appliances have a "90 day warranty" which the owner does not honor. I should have listened to the reviews. Save your coin and go elsewhere, wouldn't risk buying anything from this place. read more

I'm very disappointed from thare service. I order from them fridge and after the delivery i notice that there is a damage and thare didn't said nothing. Nobody to talk with him. read more

Buyer Beware! I bought a fridge and the ice maker did not work! Guy said it worked at the store and it did not. When they brought the fridge it did not worked but promised to come back. Never came back. I also got a washer and dryer and it was not installed properly. The dryer broke down 6 months later. I scheduled a appointment to get it fixed and he has not shown up 2 times. I've called numerous times but been ghosted. Don't do business with these people. you will just loose your money. Don't do business with them. They don't sell reliable appliances read more

Jose saved us today!!! He was able to fix our refrigerator within the same day that we spoke to him. Called him around 10am today and he came after 2 hours to fix and saved our food from rotting. Very nice guy and very professional.. at the same time I had them repair my Dryer that was making some noises and they fixed it luckily it was something simple and they didn't change me . If i can give 10 stars to him i will. Thank you Jose and crew,, if there any repairs that you need Jose and Enoch are your guys I will be referring Twin Alp They also sell Appliances new and used read more

ZERO STARS! I DO NOT recommend this place at all and am surprised that they are still open. He treated my dad terribly and disrespected him over the phone. He never responded back after their conversation and just lost a potential customer. But DO listen to all the reviews and find a more trusted company than this one...what a joke. read more

Jose Romero at Twins Appliances is a pleasure to do business with. We recently purchased a year-old LG front load washer and it works great. This washer cleans our clothes better then are previous LG top load washer. We will definitely be back to see Jose when we need another appliance. Thanks Jose!! read more

Do not buy from them. They do not honor their 90 day warranty. I should have read the other reviews that had the same issue. When I bought the frig, I asked them explicitly if the ice maker was working, they said yes. They delivered the appliance and told me at the delivery that the ice maker was not working and they ordered the part. 3 months later, I am not getting my phone calls returned and I have a broken ice maker. They knew the ice maker didn't work. They knew they were going to tell me at delivery and then ignore me. That's how they do business. If they call me back and fix my ice maker, I will leave a great review. read more

Great and there son was very smart Also the service was awesome And Jose gave me a great discount read more

Bought a washer at a very good price. It took a few days too long to get it delivered. It worked for 5 weeks and quit with error codes in the display. It did take a while to get them out to see the problem. They finally did and left us hanging for another few days. They did bring us a different machine that now works. For now issues solved. We're happy that they took care of the warranty promise. They would have gotten the fifth star if they had been more timely with delivery, and repair visits. read more

Paid over 300 for them to fix an appliance - it still didn't work right Had them come back and see what was wrong they said it was another part (that they should've seen initially when they came) Said I probably would have to pay the full price again.. Called them & never got a call back or anything after that. So now I'm looking into fixing it myself instead & im $300 poorer! Thanks twin appliances read more

I highly recommend Twins Appliances for used appliances. This is a great place and very reasonable prices. I was in need of a refrigerator for my apartment and Twins came through for me. Turns out the refrigerator I ordered didn't fit my space, but they were able to send me a replacement fridge in a smaller size. My mom has also used them for an oven and dishwasher and they've been great. read more

These guys are a JOKE! I purchased a fridge in August 2020 only for it to go to the crapper in 6months. Not only do these guys claim to come "fix" the issue, the idiots bought the wrong part! Mind you they didn't even bother to ask for the model number to prevent a wasted trip. They disregarded an appointment call, only for me to chase them and then avoided my calls. Glad I just decided to go with another company and buy a new fridge completely. These guys need to be reported and shut down! read more

Jose is the best! Ive bought a ton of appliances from him over the years! One of the few guys in the valley that sells stainless steel appliances in good condition cheap!!! highly recommend!! read more

Be cautious of the 90 day repair policy. They've given us the run around for the past two weeks. Literally give us times when they will show up and then nothing. Jose basically is a BSer!! Our fridge doesn't work. It was literally broken when they dropped it off. Only the freezer works!! Super disappointing with their customer service! Now we've only had frozen food for the past few weeks!! Don't go here read more

I haven't even bought from them yet. Their ad. on Facebook clearly states "Excellent working condition 90 days warranty on parts and labor free delivery and installation in the San Fernando Valley" when I contacted them, they said "we deliver but installation is extra on the dish washer". Alright so why the false advertisement. I have rental units that If I do business with someone and they come through, they get all my business including repair and replacement of appliances, I guess I'll be moving on to the next shop as this one didn't pan out. read more

I got. A Frigidaire from Jose a couple a days ago and it was amazing it was a very good price he delivered same day and his son was wonderful he helped me look for a good fridge and was very nice read more

I have purchased used refrigerators before and they have always lasted nearly a decade. I bought this one last December and by early July it was completely non-functional. I called Twins many times and always got their voicemail. I left several messages to no avail. I then read the reviews here and realized that I had been swindled. I was going to write a bad review but then thought of calling just one more time. To my surprise, somebody answered (by mistake, I now realize). He assured me that he would come right out to fix my fridge and asked me to text him my address. I texted my address along with a copy of my receipt. Needless to say, I didn't hear from anyone. I called and called and got the voicemail over and over. So now I'm writing this review. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT! read more

READ THIS!!! And RUN RUN RUN!!! Worst reliability and customer service EVER!! My mom purchased a refrigerator for me for my birthday, (I have been living out of a mini-fridge for 5 months), I was SO excited! The driver was supposed to show between 1 & 3, and call before he arrived. 3:15 rolls around, I hadn't heard anything. I called the store, and the owner tells me the driver is 30-35 minutes away, and he will have him call me. About 3:45 I still heard nothing. I have my mom call the store, and the owner tells her the driver is in the area, should be there shortly. About 4:05 I get a call from the driver telling me he is "leaving Reseda now", and asking me how to get to my place (which is about 30mins away from Reseda). I was shocked, and so frustrated, but very calmly asked him, "what happened? You were supposed to be here btwn 1 & 3, and I haven't heard anything" To which he RUDELY replies, "I've been doing deliveries all day, do you still want it? I can take it back." I said, "excuse me?" I was pissed! We get off the phone on not the best terms, but he tells me he'll see me soon. So I'm waiting, waiting, waiting. (Mind you, it's my ONLY day off of work!) I try to call him, he doesn't answer. So I text him, "please call me when you are close so I can give you instructions on how to get in. It's a big complex" He texts me back, "call the store" Okaaaayyy...?? So I called the store and the owner tells me that the driver turned around and brought the fridge back because "I was mean to him" and I would have to make another appointment. Are you f***ing kidding me??? No. Give my mom her money back and shover your fridge up your ass. You wanna see mean? DO NOT BUY FROM TWIN'S!!!!!! And NOT ONCE did the driver or owner apologize for the inconvenience. QUIT your day jobs gentleman, cuz you're goin' out of business soon anyway... read more

I purchased a Waher & Dryer and also a Refrigerator all at the same time from Twins Appliances in March. One day later I found out that the Refrigerator has a bad ice motor (Sounds like its going to blow up) and freezer door handle is falling off, they came to inspect the problem and told me they will fix it when they are able to get replacement parts. Thats unacceptable, order the parts and fix it not when you by chance get replacement parts. If in fact they fix this issue, I will then delete this review. But for now do not buy from them unless they honor their warranty and stand by their products. I hope this review gets the owners attention because it will drastically effect his sales and business. read more

Worst experience of my life DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I purchased refridgerator from this place from Jose and I've had it for three months. I called him yesterday and told him hey my fridge is making a very loud noise and linking water but it's still working but I need someone to come and repair it. Jose told me he could have someone come and repair it the very next morning and told me to send him my address and he would call in the morning to let me know the exact time the repair guy was coming. I call him the next morning and he told me that he was having the guy come and that he was going to call him now to see where he was at and call me back. He never called back so two hours later I call him back and he tells me the guy was working in woodland hills and then he is coming my way. So I wait another hour nothing back from Jose. I called him several Times no answer sending me to voicemail. So I take it upon myself to surprise him at his store location. I get there and I say hey I keep calling you and your guy hasn't came and repair my fridge yet so he tells me I'm waiting for him now and I promise he will come to you give him one hour and if he can't repair it he will give me another fridge. He had me pick it out and everything so I say okay cool. I leave I go eat and then I come back home still no word from Jose. I'm trying to be as patient as possible so I take a nap and I wake up out of sleep thinking that I've been waiting forever still nothing from him I start calling him back to back and I sent him a text no response and no call back. So I get in my car once again because the hours online say they close at 7pm it's only 5 o'clock I pull up and the business is closed, doors locked and lights off. So I instantly get very upset and I look inside and I see him in the very back on the phone calling me all of a suddenly smh hasn't returned my call once in these past two days smh but now he sees I'm there and is now calling me. I get in my car and I drive around back through the alley way I see a truck pulling out and it's suppose to be the repair man. I walk up to his truck and ask him where he is going and if he is coming to my house he tells me yeah and laughs because he can see I'm upset. Jose is on the phone pointing at him I tell Jose I'm not going to play these games with you. All of my food is now spoiled and he hasn't been returning my calls all day and that I don't have time to play. I told him you said you were sending a repair man hours ago and you also said if he can't repair it you would replace it with another fridge. He says to me just go home he's going to go there now right now. I told him if my fridge is not fix we are going to have a serious problem. I am sitting here right now watching this so called repair guy attempt to fix the fridge. So this review is to be continued in the mean time I'm going to do as other reviewers and contact state regulator and file a BBB review on him and if I have to get authorities involved. We will see!!! read more

I needed an stove, so I got a used Samsung stove from this place. The problem is that I need a natural gas to propane conversion kit, so I called Samsung only to find out that no one in the US makes parts for this stove, because it is not a Samsung US model. Jose is just great, bought a used dryer and fridge, came in mint condition and works great, same day delivery and installation, love it!

This is the worst place ever! They give you a 3 month warranty but they do not honor it! I called for weeks about my freezer not working after having the refrigerator for a month! Now my refrigerator does not work at all! Every time I call they tell me someone is coming and no one ever shows up! They are liars and a horrible business! This is an unacceptable way to run a business and illegal! Do not shop here! read more

So happy with my new dryer and because these guys moved into my neighborhood! Our old dryer just broke, right after we had just finished our Christmas shopping and precisely when buying a brand new dryer was completely out of our budget. Our old dryer, well, after 12 years I guess it was time to go but breaking right one week before Christmas, while having most of my laundry dirty and with lots of rain, I did not have many choices than to look for a new dryer or in new like condition... We were driving around Saticoy and decided to give Twins Appliances a try. The owner was really nice, we told him about our tight budget and he told us not to worry about it. I chose my dryer (It was not new, but in new like condition) and it was 250, (This dryer retails for around 800 brand new, I checked online afterwards) he gave us a $50 discount, did not charge us for delivery (We live right around the corner, but still, we are grateful), he removed our old dryer and installed the new one!!! Total Life Saver!! I realized this guy had a very negative review when I came to check his business the day we bought the dryer, so I waited a few days to review his business just in case something happened, but nothing has, our dryer works perfectly and we are just really, really happy! :) read more

Got an amazing deal on a fridge, April who does the internet sales is great and the guys that delivered are awesome . Thanks

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE I would give ZERO stars if possible. I purchased a refrigerator from them for $300 6 months ago and it stopped working. I called both numbers on the business card for repair service. When calling the first number, a woman answered who didn't speak English. I hung up and called the second number and scheduled a repair appointment for the next day. The next day comes and I call to confirm. No answer. I keep calling and eventually someone picks up and asked me if we can move the appt. time to a later time. I agree and re-arrange my schedule. I then take time off work early to make the appointment time and ..... NO ONE SHOWS up. I repeatedly call and text the number and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS, nor calls me back to issue an apology or provide a reason for the NO SHOW. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. UNPROFESSIONAL AND TOTAL RIP OFF. Once they have your money, they don't give a damn. read more
