We have been using Lerman Appliance Repair exclusively for several years. A recent repair situation reinforced why we continue to choose them. The downdraft mechanism for our Wolf cooktop became unhinged from its support structure. After years of use, the bolts simply failed, and Wolf no longer makes the replacement parts. Serge came out to diagnose the problem and advise us on our options. He explained that, because Wolf no longer made the parts, he would have to do some research to find suitable alternatives. After a few weeks, Serge returned with parts he had sourced from China, but unfortunately they did not fit. He promised to continue researching the problem and ultimately found parts from another Chinese source. He ordered them, and after waiting several weeks for them to arrive, Serge came back to our home. Because the new bolts were not identical replacements, Serge had to do a little drilling and modification to make them work with our downdraft mechanism. But he made it work. After three visits and a considerable amount of persistence on Serge's part, our cooktop is working again, and we are very happy. Thank you, Serge, for your excellent work, persistence, and commitment to solving the problem. And thank you to Lerman Appliance Repair for providing a level of service that is increasingly hard to find. read more

I have been using Lerman Appliances for years with my finicky DCS stove. My Samsung dryer sounded like it was about to explode, so I called and Ricardo came out and worked through multiple issues. He did an amazing job - I don't even recall it being this quiet when it was brand new. Thank you Ricardo for the exceptional work and service! It was a delight to work with you. read more

Reasonable pricing and fast turnaround. Mitchell fixed a minor problem with an older downdraft. Will use again.

I have used Lerman Appliances for years. I started when I was living in a different place and they took care of my dishwasher and laundry machines. When I moved into my new place, it had a Bosch refrigerator freezer that was not working and another company had been unable to repair. They sent out a great tech, Dimitri, and he diagnosed the machine correctly, ordered the parts and came back quickly. It runs beautifully now. Highly recommend. read more

On time. Called when on way. Knew what to do and did it. Very good experience and value. Thanks team.

Our old GE Profile refrigerator was working but not staying cold enough in the fridge or freezer. Dmitri came on Thursday, 8/27. He determined that he needed to remove the panels at the bottom of the fridge to assess the problem . Showing tremendous patience and fortitude, he spent over an hour trying to remove the panels without success. He left after about 90 minutes, said he would research the problem, and I should call back the next day. There was no charge. I called back the next day and was told that Dmitri located the info he needed to remove the panels but could not return until Monday, 8/31. Upon his return on Monday, he encountered even more difficulty removing the panels but he kept at it and ultimately was able to remove the panels. The drain pan fan was frozen shut. He did a very thorough job defrosting the fan and the refrigerator now is working properly. Kudos to Dmitri for his efforts, extreme patience, and a job well done. Given all the time he spent, the charge was quite reasonable. I am another very satisfied customer. read more

I thought the pump in my dishwasher was broken, as it wouldn't drain. Riccardo Castaneda diagnosed the problem, which turned out to only clogged filters. He saved me the cost of a new pump. read more

Another great service from Lerman Appliances! The freezer was not performing as usual, so I scheduled a tech to diagnose. Turns out there is a freon leak "somewhere." The tech provided a few options to manage it or fix it; decided, for cost-effectiveness, to manage it and see how it goes. The tech did a great job; the freezer is still working as it should for as long as it may with the management option. Thanks again Lerman Appliances! read more

Ricardo was great. Came and knew exactly what to do. He even taught me a few things while watching him. Highly recommended.

A Lerman technician diagnosed and repaired my Electrolux washing machine. The diagnosis was accurate and the repair was complete. He also replaced the aging hoses and flushed out the system. The price was high: $650 to diagnose and replace a valve on a $1,000 washer. But the service was excellent. read more

I cannot recommend Lerman Appliances enough! The old commercial fridge at my office needed repair, and we were at our wits end trying to find someone willing to take our case. Lerman Appliances had a tech out, and the fridge repaired, in under a week! The technician was punctual, communicative, and answered every question I had. Everyone I spoke with regarding repair, scheduling, and payment was friendly, too. So grateful to have found Lerman! You won't regret working with them! read more

This company was the ONLY appliance repair that would service our 'older' commercial Wolf oven range...thanks to Vitaliy (sp??) I was very appreciative and grateful that they came to Long Beach to help us out. Nikita (sp??) was very thorough and knowledgeable with this older oven. He fixed our issue and provided an estimate to other items that needed to be repaired/upgraded as well. I HIGHLY recommend them!!! read more

Nikita came to my house today to fix a problem with my dishwasher since it wasn't working properly. He found out that there were a few ceramic chips inside the drain area causing the mechanism of the dishwasher to stop working properly. He cleared it out and also removed any debris in the drain. After that, the dishwasher worked perfectly. He tested and stayed for a couple cycles to make sure the dishwasher was properly operating. He is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend his work and this company. Very honest and nice guy. Thanks again! read more

What a rip off! I called for a oven repair. The part was 92 dollars, fair. For the labor they wanted 252 dollars. For 15 minutes of labor they wanted that much. Tha't higher than a mechanic or a lawyer. We had to pay a 100 dollar service fee for them to come out. They are the biggest thiefs around and they can choke on the hundred dollars. DO not use them! read more

I just had Lerman Appliances out to repair my dryer - which they did quickly and efficiently. This company is fantastic. They have kept my appliances working and in top condition for over 30 years (including my 30 year old dryer.) My favorite story is when they came out the day before Thanksgiving to repair my stove. Sears Repair had told me it would be an $800 fix and then never showed up. I called Lerman in a panic and they showed up the next day, looked over the stove and told me they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I asked how they got it to work and was told they just jiggled and tightened some wires. Charged me the basic service/diagnostic fee. Lasted another 4 years until they had to come back to replace the electronic panel. to date they've serviced my dryer, washer, refrigerator and dishwasher. Everyone I've recommended them to has been very happy with them. read more

Our kitchen freezer stopped working and the next day, the refrigerator portion died. We did a deep dive into social media reviews and found Lerman Appliances. We called and spoke to two women in the office and subsequently, spoke with Val who immediately sent Andrew to help us. Andrew arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. We had been concerned that since we know nothing about the inner workings of refrigerators, he could have told us we needed a more expensive repair, but he was honest and the charge was very reasonable. Every employee of this family owned company, is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We will not hesitate to call them and recommend them in the future. Thanks, everyone. read more

Ricardo was on time and fixed my dishwasher quickly once the part came in. He was fantastic in customer service. Lerman is a great company

Most reliable and best repair company around. They fixed my dryer, oven, wine refrigerator... anything and everything.

I was having a problem with my very old Gaggenau stove top. I tried calling Gaggenau directly, but they simply referred me to seemly random service companies who just told me the necessary parts weren't made anymore. Then, after reading a lot of good reviews, I called Lerman. They are a family-owned company and they searched around for me and found a 3rd-party replacement part. But there were two versions and it wasn't clear which would work, so they offered to just buy both, then return the one they didn't use. Perfect. They arrived on time, knew exactly what they were doing, and left everything clean and neat after they finished. Plus the price the quoted was very reasonable, and they didn't press for anything additional. Well done. read more

If I could leave a "O" I would! The first complaint is: I was supposed to meet the technician and was running 10 minutes late. Instead of waiting for me I had to have a tenant let him in the laundry room and give him quarters to try and start the washer. Be prepared to pay $120 one way or the other because the minute he arrives he's walking away with at least $120 or their service fee is $249 if you have them do any work. You will get gouged for any parts. In my case the part markup was 70%! Don't believe the reviews about fairness - GO ELSEWHERE! You've been warned! read more
