I should add that Max was very thorough, very personable and friendly, and made me feel comfortable that he knew exactly what he was doing. Since they do repairs on all appliances, I'll be keeping their number handy and making them my first call from now on. They were able to schedule me for the very next day, which was a huge plus. Mike arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. Instead of trying to upsell me on unnecessary parts or repairs, he found a repair kit that fixed the issue without replacing the entire component, saving me a significant amount of money. Because my refrigerator needed to be completely defrosted before the repair could be done, we had to postpone the actual repair. Once it was ready, Mike came back the very next morning and had everything fixed in about 30 minutes. I really appreciated Mike's honesty and the effort he made to keep my costs as low as possible. I wouldn't describe US Standard as inexpensive, in fact, the repair still felt pricey considering the cost of the part and the relatively quick labor.
