Had an issue with a couple of my California appliances... no not my car tires... anyway what I did was search on Yelp and found highly rated Mr West Repairs. I was concerned that his area did not cover where I'm located based on the Yelp map so I hesitated but ended up calling anyway. Glad I did! As he frequently goes outside the service area. We scheduled a 2-hour window and Michael showed up on time. He inspected both of my appliances.. and wouldn't you know one of them didn't show the leaking it was doing for me when he was here. Michael said the leaking in my fridge could be solved by thawing it out for 24 hours. But I opted for the quick remedy that Michael offered. As I wasn't ready for so much food that might get spoiled if I went the 24 hour route. All in all, I'm very happy with Michael and will recommend him to whoever needs an appliance repair. Thanks Michael! read more

Great experience! The consultation as of today is $95.00 and it goes towards any service that the machine may have needed for up to 30 days. He was helpful in identifying what was the issue, shared ways I could fix it myself, and also estimate for him fixing it now or in the future if I decide to do that. Grateful for the washing machine education! read more

I called Mike based on the number of 5 star reviews here to have a look at our 14 year old Maytag electric clothes dryer which was not heating properly. We were on the verge of buying a new dryer but figured we'd see if it could be repaired. Mike came over a few hours later, on time, and determined that there was nothing wrong with the heating element in the electric dryer. It turned out that so much lint had collected inside the dryer it affected the operation of the appliance. He cleaned the lint buildup and solved the problem. While he was here he also diagnosed and fixed a problem with a 5 year old KitchenAid dishwasher. Mike is courteous, honest, and knowledgeable about a whole range of appliances. Highly recommended! read more

I called Mr. West Repairs for my dryer that decided to turn off permanently. I now have a dryer with a new switch that runs perfectly. Thank you, Mr. West for your great job! I shall call you again when my appliances need help. read more

Top tier service from Mike. Woke up to a broken washing machine. With 2 kids playing sports constantly, we can't be without a washer/dryer for even a day. Mike went above and beyond. We had a washing machine that needed the gasket replaced due to mold. Our washing machine was stuck inside a cabinet due to the gas hose length. Mike was able to take apart the cabinet and get to the gas line so we could service the machine. He also reassembled the cabinet and it looks good as new. Thank you for all your help! I would highly recommend Mr. West and their team. read more

He came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary parts, and got everything fixed within a week. Very professional and pleasant guy to deal with. I will definitely use them again. read more

I can not praise this company enough! Mike is the best technician I have had in my home. His knowledge of my dryer and his "never say die" attitude are incredible. He made four trips to this dryer until he was able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem, a noise, and only charged me for the initial maintence service. Everything which has been reviewed about this company and Mike has been completely true. read more

We called and described our problem. Instead of suggesting we need a costly repair and charging us for a house call, he knew immediately what was wrong. He suggested we don't throw good money after bad. It's a bearing and would be a very costly repair. He was very honest and helpful. We will keep his number and will call him for any and every appliance need. No wonder he has 5 stars and great reviews. Great experience. read more

Okay, now THIS is the kind of business you want on your speed dialer. I cold called to have them look at my fridge. He booked a time between 2 and 4. He texted at 1:45 to say he was 20 minutes away. Arrived on time, gave the culprit a good look and made a number of serious observations that resulted in my making an educated choice. I didn't mind paying him for his time, which will be applied if we decide to repair rather than replace. With appliances, you want a trusted advisor and Mr. West is as good as it gets. read more

My Thermador dishwasher stopped working and was in search for repair appliance service contractors. I was receiving crazy estimates to the point that I was going to buy a new dishwasher until I spoke with Michael. I called him on a Friday and he was able to come the following day. His price was reasonable and I was very fortunate that he actually had the part to repair the dishwasher. Very professional and on time. So impressed that he is now my go-to for my other appliances whenever they need repair. read more

Knowledgeable upfront incredibly thorough and unexpectedly generous - Mike explained what he was doing every step of the way, discussing not just what needed to be done but how to prevent the issue from repeating. He even offered a tutorial on a few things to try myself if it did recur. Highly recommended. So nice to (finally!) have found our family's go-to appliance guy. read more

My apologies for forgetting the technician's name, but I had the gasket replaced on my 2014 LG washing machine. It had collected about 9 years of gunk and that gunk made itself known by wafting throughout the laundry room every once in a while. The super kind tech replaced it with a new one and recommend to use those washing machine cleaning tablets every month or so. So hopefully I've extended the life of my machine...or at the very least had the tech exorcise the foul gunk demons. read more

I had an issue with my washer. Mike from Mr. West arranged a tech visit within 24 hours and was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. He also provided some advice on how to maintain the washer and dryer going forward to ensure maximum performance. Would definitely use them again. read more

Mike came to diagnose the issue with my refrigerator and was able to get it working, but noted what would ultimately be needed was a replacement of the compressor. He took his time and was very knowledgeable and explained the situation in ways I could understand. He was honest in telling me that a repair was probably not worth it for my old refrigerator. I appreciate his honesty and will definitely be calling him the next time one of my appliances is not working correctly. read more

Michael picked up right away when I called and came out first thing the next morning to fix our oven. When my tenant called advising her dryer was no longer blowing hot air, I asked her to research local repair services. She found Mr. West Repairs. He was out immediately to inspect the situation and promptly texted me the cost. Photos of the replaced parts were included with the invoice which I appreciated as a landlord. I hope to not need his services again, but if I do I will definitely reach out again. read more

Mike is a lifesaver! We have been having issues with our washer overflowing every other load, so we called an appliance repair company (obviously). The company gave us a three hour appointment window, and still arrived 20 minutes late. That would have been a non-issue, had they fixed the problem. They had their tech come out three different times, each time getting a more complicated (therefore expensive) diagnostic code. The estimate was over $300. Something seemed fishy, so we opted for a second opinion. We called Mr West Repairs, and they were able to get someone out (ON TIME) that same day. The tech was able to diagnose and fix the problem within an hour. It was just some hose that needed to be replaced. $120 vs $300. Thanks Mike! read more
