Buy & plant yourself or have Luis come help you with planting, drip lines... FANTASTIC selection of succulents in a HUGE range of colors - rust, gold, black even!!! Go today!

Great selection, friendly/knowledgeable staff, competitive and fair pricing. Amazing garden center! Easily 5 Stars, been here a few times and have had great experiences and the plants are doing great.

Luis Is The Man!! I called ahead to find out if the had milkweed for monarch season, Luis informed me that they did. He was very knowledgeable about the plants there. When I arrived, Luis directed me to the milkweed and picked out the ones he thought were the best. He offered me a deal if I took more and I couldn't pass it up. They even came with a little surprise. There were some caterpillars and eggs on the plant! I was excited to say the least. I will definitely be back for other plants. Luis was very knowledgeable and I got a great price.

I have a passion for plants. I'm mostly into indoor plants (allergies) but I'm working on my outdoor space too. This nursery did not disappoint. I found plants for both. In fact, when I arrived it was super hot and I was dressed in professional attire. Meaning my heals were sinking a bit in the dirt and I was perspiring (okay sweating) a lot. And yet, I was sad to leave. I loved taking in all the plants that were clearly well looked after and the owner was incredibly helpful. The owner was more than that, he was passionate about plants. This would seem like something one might expect but I shop for plants all the time and I rarely see people who work at nurseries positively engaging with customers for more than a minute or two. The owner pulled out plants we worked out would work best for me. He helped me find the best versions, loaded them up and gave me the lowest prices I've ever paid. I left with a car full and a happy heart. Can't wait to return.

Flew in to do an extended house-sitting for my sister's place. Armed with photos of the potted plant victims of her prior sitter's apparent black thumb, Luis happily took his time explaining how to care for each one that was still salvageable, and which to just start over. He was more than patient with me, walking through the garden and pointing out the plants that would work best for her patio conditions. Prices were reasonable enough to allow me to purchase enough for creating an entire patio makeover for about the same price as my grocery run. Couldn't have dreamt of doing that where I live! To top it off, when I went back to purchase some potting soil, he even remembered me. Small, independent businesses are the best.

    Pesticide-free Milkweed! Ready for a Monarch's dinner.

It's open from 8am to 5pm daily with an all-star cast of incredible knowledgeable and caring individuals who help keep GTN great. Grab a wagon and load up because you won't know when to stop with some many great plants, deals on supplies and their inviting layout. As a small chain of garden centers meets plant nurseries I have to say this location stands out. Their online shop is easy also with get learning materials, newsletters , resources and even a plant library. I'll never forget my first trip here with my friend Sam, definitely need to hit her up again for a plant day, but absolutely still enjoy coming here with others and of course solo for some planty self-care. Adding some Elephant Bush (Portulacaria afra) friends to the plant family at home. Absolutely and 818/SFV/LA Valley favorite among many. You'll want to get lost between the many areas the have here and in the main area as well as their extended open air garden on the parking lot side. Staff here is very personable and extremely knowledgeable. From lawn and outdoor patio furniture or fixtures, fountains, decorations and plant care musts, GTN has a bit of it all. Even fun seasonal items and sales. Entrance in back, where you'll also find their parking lot, fairly spacious, but it can and does fill up on weekends. Restroom available for customers.

A whole lot more. They also sell food, seeds, roots, soil, small, medium, large pots, different styles and colors of everything. Very durable and a tad expensive for my budget. Pots for your plants are so gorgeous. They do landscaping for people who own gardens (does not apply to me) and all the work the employees put in to those plants to make their customers happy and satisfied is a huge recognition. Employees are very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. Also caring and understanding. A friend of mine had given me an indoor plant for my birthday last year and lasted me for a whole entire year and 3 months. It took the last breath and I went to them asking for help. It was a bit late. I am more of a flower girl than owning plants. I have had plants in my younger years. I ended up buying 2 new outdoor plants to put outside of my window/door. It looks very pretty. I have also purchased a Christmas tree from their lot twice. Established in 1889. That should say a lot about this lovely, beautiful garden/nursery. Big parking lot right in front of the nursery/shop, and 2 clean bathrooms. Thank you all.
