Exotic Garden is an absolute gem in Reseda. They have the best and widest selection of tress that I have ever seen. If they don't have it. They will get it for you in a 5 gallon, 15gallon or 24-gallon size. Our 60-year-old Myer lemon tree died over the heat wave we had in September 2022. I am cutting it down and want to replace it right away. Called Exotic Garden and Jimmy the owner is ordering our new lemon tree with fruit already on it. Jimmy has a been the owner for over 15 years. He has his Gardening contractor's license and is full of knowledge. He has the soil recommendations and fertilizer that will keep all of your fruit trees happy. They have a full selection of Palm trees, privacy bushes, hedges, succulents and decorative plants. Exotic garden is very large and the trees and bushes go a long way. Look at my photos. As you go down the gravel road you can walk in and see trees with fruit all over. I highly recommend Exotic Garden for any of your tree and garden needs. read more

After looking for white rose trees for a couple of weeks all over the Valley I found them at this nursery. Everything went well: the price was very reasonable, the plants were healthy, workers at the nursery were helpful and we got a prompt delivery. Everything at this place looked good. I'm definitely coming back. read more

Im in shock-- Jimmy (the owner) was as nice as can be when I spent thousands on 2 large fruit trees, AND I paid him 300$ to plant each! Him planting the trees was a requirement for the warranty. One died right away but he PROMISED it was not dead & to water it extra & give it a year to come back. A year later, the tree still dead & I go to nursery to exchange tree. Jimmy LIED TO MY FACE! He said he would not warranty the tree & told me to get off his property! Gross!!!!!!! I can't stand unethical people that lie to my face. Shame on you Jimmy. Shame!!! Scum! read more

Exotic Garden Nursery - Jimmy lying to my face & refusing to honor the warranty. - Nurseries & Gardening Near Me - Reseda, California

Affordable garden nursery with a great selection of plants, especially the well known ones. Plenty of both shade and sun plants. We didn't see as many exotic plants as we wanted, but they have an amazing selection of hedging shrubs and trees. They also have great prices! Everything looked super healthy and well taken care of. Even the cat and chickens! :) We were really happy with our purchase and would come back. They have a small parking lot just inside the fence, and two parking spots right outside the fence. read more

I drove past this nursery today, and upon first glance, while driving past, it immediately pulled over and parts and went inside. It looks so enchanting. Upon entering, I realize that none of the plants are labels. There are no price tags, no identifying marks as to what plant is which, and furthermore, there is no staff or desk or manager, and no one speaks any English so I walked away without making a purchase, and they lost a loyal customer, or the potential of one of one. read more

Jimmy King the owner is a GEM! His work is incredible and he knows plants and design better than most. Absolutely can mot recommend him and his work more! His nursery I have yet to visit but I have seen and bought his plants when he has done landscaping work for us and they are stunning. read more

I visited in late January and it looked like a nursery should around that time of year in SoCal. They had a lot of trees, ornamental and fruit. They had what I was looking for, Mexican Sage, and the price, $16, was good for a 5 gal. The plants looked healthy with bees making their rounds. lThe person who worked there was helpful. read more

Our daughter just bought house in Tarzana and has Jimmy landscape the backyard. It is beautiful so we asked him to help us redo our backyard as well. He gave us his undivided attention for an hour, refused phone calls from others and made suggestions as well. We took his advice and couldn't be happier. Our backyard couldn't look better. Jimmy even put in a drip system and made an extra trip a few days later to make sure everything was set up well. He is a perfectionist. I highly recommend him read more

This place is awesome and what makes it great is Jimmy taking the time to help me pick out the right plants for my home. I like that this place isn't too big otherwise I'd feel too overwhelmed. I explained what I was thinking about getting and Jimmy's knowledge and expertise led me to choosing the best plant. I was shocked by the reasonable prices, only $30 for a king palm! I'm definitely going back for more and highly recommend this nursery. read more

I stopped by Exotic Garden Nursery by chance while driving around and am so happy that I did! I was looking for someone to do landscaping for my new home and I found the perfect person in the owner, Jimmy King. We spoke for a while and I could tell he was very knowledgeable and passionate about plants. He understood what I was hoping to achieve, so we set up an appointment for him to come to my home. He spent lots of time with us talking about the type of plants we wanted, our goals for our property and what would work best. He did everything he said he would and more! He was prompt, professional and so easy to work with. He went above and beyond giving me one surprise after another. He and his team were a pleasure to have around. They treated everything with care and consideration and I felt very confident in how the job progressed. It's not easy to find special people like Jimmy and his men who really care about their customers and making them happy. He is a true gem and I feel lucky to have found him. My landscaping looks amazing!!! read more

We've been shopping for tropical plants and have visited a few nurseries and of course Lowes/ Home Depot. They have such a great selection of plants and variety. I'm in shock! I had been searching for a "Giant Bird of Paradise" tree forever! I had tried every nursery in the valley and in Santa Clarita and no luck. As I was driving down victory I saw the sign and it spoke to me. I walked in and immediately fell in love. This place is HUGE! They even have BANANA TREES!!! WHEN HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A BANANA TREE AT A NURSERY?! I immediately found a tree we fell in love with with an amazing price and now I'm back on yelp trying to find out what this place is called so I can go back and spend more time browsing through it. read more

Stopped by here after going to a nearby nursery that didn't really help me and left me wandering. Glad I found this place via Yelp because the owner is very friendly. He did his best to explain each plant to us and was very very patient. He didn't have the delphinium or hydrangeas I was looking for but I ended up buying other plants from him anyways. His selection is a bit on the smaller side for flowers but everything is still good quality and at fair prices. He gave tons of tips and advice on how to maintain my fruit trees. Highly recommend to check this place out! read more

They do not uphold deals. I was going to pick up a tree there myself but was upsold that if i paid to get it delivered they would also plant it. They said they would call and let me know when they can deliver it in a couple weeks. Two guys just showed up, banged on the door like the cops, then wouldn't take it past my driveway and said they "just drop it off" and left. read more

Difficult to find & disaster to get in & out of. Literally a hole in the wall. Was there for ten minutes & only one around was too busy watering to see if I needed something. Maybe I should have called to set up an appointment? Don't waste your time as I did! read more

Excellent experience here. My Mom's been wanting a Coastal Coral Tree because of it's vibrant flowers and eventual huge size and shade it will offer, so I called and the owner told me they had one in stock. Showed up close to closing to get a look at it, the owner and a staff memeber, Thomas, were very polite and helpful. After we decided that we wanted the tree, they spent half an hour with us (Even though it was already past closing time) figuring out how fit it into our SUV so we wouldn't have to pay for delivery. Great customer service and selection of plants/trees, my Mom is ecstatic about her coral tree, highly recommend! read more

I got ten different types of berries, some trees some bushes some vines. Of the ten 2 vines and one tree still have not shown signs of life. I suppose it depends on how you look at that, and the way they are taken care of, for me I really like this place. I live in az so it feels like a desert, but I have my piece of paradise with exotic berries and fruits. Many of these berries I have never tried in my life, some I have never even heard of. Also they send another if they do not survive! How could I not love a $4 tree that makes berries and grows 50 feet eventually, thank you exotic gardens. I will be a return customer. read more

This place is fabulous and Jimmy King (the owner) is a gem! I'm new to CA, so my knowledge of the local vegetation is somewhat limited. Jimmy was incredibly patient with me, answered all of my questions and provided me with exceptional customer service. He does business the right way...by "going the extra mile" for his customers. The variety of plants he carries is amazing and he's happy to offer his design expertise by request. This guy deserves your business...without a doubt! read more

Everything you could want in a nursery and landscaping service. The owner, Jimmy King, knows plants, knows landscaping and shares with his customers. His prices are very reasonable. Once you meet Jim, the owner, you will know what I mean when I say that this is the most thoughtful and ethical person that I have ever met in this business. Jim's aesthetics matched mine. Just by talking about what I love and Jim seeing my yard, I knew I was in good hands. My neighbor across the street used him which is how I found out about him. If he can use what you already have and tweak it, he will. He's not about selling services you don't need. His pricing was the most reasonable I have encountered in 3 1/2 years that I've owned my home. I have had 2 prior landscapers and both were expensive, and one underpriced her jobs, only to come back with a 'more accurate' price which was several hundreds of dollars more. I needed the 2nd landscaper to fix what the 1st landscaper did not do right. I will have Jim seal my concrete and complete several other projects in back and front. read more
