We visited this nursery for the first time this morning. We didn't buy anything, just browsed for now. We were emotional and teary eyed the whole time. This little paradise felt like back home with the fragrance and royal beauty of its rare Persian trees and plants . Justin is very nice and knowledgeable about plants. The high prices are justified for the rare Persian specialties. For the rest of the plants, I am not knowledgeable enough to know. They do not offer free delivery. They also do not offer planting services unless you buy a certain number of trees and the owner approves. I wish they did. Some of us are not able bodied and need a little help planting. Despite the prices, we will come back in a couple of months when it's cool enough to plant and grow and buy what we can afford. Who knows, maybe by then they will offer planting services for a fee. Parking is limited so go early. read more

We decided to go for a drive and find out where the road takes us on a very hot Sunday morning. And I wanted to pick up a Myer lemon tree as well since there were none locally grown in my area. I found via Yelp that Paradise Nursery had an array of different types of citrus trees along with other fruit trees that I was interested in. The yellow brick road led us to a very busy free and down to the outskirts of Chatsworth. The exit from the freeway was easy and it took us straight to the nursery. I drove into the parking area and got out into the hot sun!! Citrus trees everywhere!!! It was quiet...strange. I thought there would have been more folks roaming the nursery. Guess what I found out that day as the owner (Shawn) was walking towards us. They were closed and I was trespassing (kidding!) he was nice enough to allow us to stay and find what we wanted to purchase. I felt bad. And also embarrassed at the same time. But here we are. Sixty miles away from home and all I wanted were the lemon trees. Shawn told us we can roam around and see if there was anything on his lot we would like to purchase. After a few minutes of checking out the citrus trees, my older sister wanted to see if there were other "species" of lemons. Lo and behold, she found the Buddha's' Hands and was adamant about bringing one home. Of course I couldn't say no to her so we got a 5-gallon one which had two fruits bearing the stem and then I found a mini Myer lemons and decided to bring both home. The trees came to the total of $118.00 and I cannot be any happier than to have forced my way into Shawn's nursery that day. He was a good sport and answered all the questions I had regarding taking my new plant babies home. Please note the nursery is closed Sunday and Monday. They also do delivery of your purchase to your home or office. I will be stopping by again and I promise this time, it won't be on Sunday!! read more

Love coming here, looking around and tasting their fruit trees they have growing in ground as your shopping around for fruit trees however, I believe he's the owner. The older gentleman was upset that my kids were trying the fruit off the big trees, even though his employee was letting us try them to see which fruit tree we would be able to take home for ourselves to grow... i'll give them a three star just because he was stalking us around afterwards, even though I bought trees from here multiple times. read more

Very expensive and some of trees i bought from him after 5 years no fruit at all i would never go back to this place

This place is citrus heaven! I mean citrus PARADISE! I swear I never want to leave empty handed whenever I come here. They have various varieties of citrus trees at different size ranging from 7 gallons to (100 gallons? i don't know, but they're huge trees here). They take good care of their trees because I always see it has flowers and fruit! We bought a Calamondin and Valencia Orange tree from them. Both trees already have flowers and fruits. Staff were super nice! All the members here do everything! I thought it was funny that they do laborous lifting work and then you see them doing the computer and paperwork for you. Highly recommend you visit this place if you're looking to by a citrus tree. You get more varieties and choices to choose here then opting to go to Lowes or Home Depot. I am so glad I found it after visiting over 5 nurseries in the Valley. read more

Very rude owner We have been shopping from their nursery for over 10years when his dad was the owner; very nice and respectful person. The son who is the new owner is very disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. At our last visit we ended up not buying anything from the nursery and left even though we have traveled 30mile to get there. Many of our friends who we referred them to this nursery had a same horrible experience and end up not going back there anymore. read more

I had 3 citrus trees (meyer lemon, naval orange, and Persian lime) delivered after a brief conversation with Justin on the phone. I can't exaggerate how much I recommend this nursery! They have a wide selection of fruit trees, evergreens, and years of experience. We have bought every fruit tree you can think of and our home produces a variety of different fruits year round! First things first... Justin helped me and he could not have been more pleasant, helpful, polite and friendly. This young man made the visit so easy and enjoyable for me. The company is fortunate to have him on the payroll. I love this place. I live in Moorpark' and have lots of options to buy close to me, yet I have now made several tree purchases from Paradise, based on quality offerings, very reasonable pricing and as I have already said, great service. Parking is tough here. Be mindful of this and be patient with coming and going. Well done Paradise!! My fruit trees are happy and healthy! read more

I just visited paradise nursery for the first time today and loved it. I am not from the area and had to come out here to purchase a citrus tree since most other nurseries are currently not carrying them. I am grateful that I was able to find the citrus trees here. I was very impressed with the selection and quality of the fruit trees they carry. Even though this is a bit of a drive for me I will definitely be back. The staff members were super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They even wrapped the pots in trash bags to keep my car clean during transportation. I was searching for a specific lemon tree and Paradise was listed as a possible source. I called and was told they did have 3 of them in stock. It's a tough drive from OC but when I got there, it is indeed Paradise! A huge selection of fruit and citrus trees and most importantly the exact lemon I'd been searching for. Justin showed me what they had, suggested one of the three( my choice as well). Justin took the extra time to secure the 15 gallon pot in my car so it wouldn't roll around--much appreciated Justin . I'm sure our family will be returning here for future purchases, worth the drive and the staff are Great ! read more

Great options, great staff. My family has been coming here for years. I just bought a few trees from here, and I'm so excited about them!

HUGE thank you to the super helpful and caring staff and especially to Dylan for all of his expertise and kindness. I have a lemon tree in my yard planted when I first moved in to my house that was grown from a seed from my mother's lemon trees, and he asked for photos of the tree, was able to diagnose exactly what it needed, sold me the perfect fertilizer and I'm SO happy to report that for the first time ever we are FINALLY getting flowers that will become our new lemons! I can't tell you how much this means to me and how grateful I am to the super. The level of care from this nursery is top notch and their trees and plants are so beautiful. Excited to refer all of my friends and clients for their dream garden needs. THANK YOU!!!! read more

This place was recommended to me by another nursery because they have a huge variety of fruit trees. Very friendly and informative . I like this nursery. I initially called and received a callback within the hour. Dylan knew his inventory, and I was able to make a decision. So, my call with Dylan lead to my visit to the nursery. It was well worth my time. Thankfully, Justin helped me pick out two pomelos while answering all my questions about why he chose those trees he did. Planting instructions, fertilizing, and other questions I had about other fruit trees I found interesting. Lots of great information for my next buy. I will definitely go back for more! read more

Family owned and run. Although "Dylan" who's fairly new, isn't family related. He approached me and asked me if I needed any help. I saw a tree that I was interested in but wouldn't be buying it until the following week. He grabbed a hold ticket, wrote my last name and said it's mine and ready to go home whenever I come back to pay for it. I even asked him if they needed half of the money, but said it's not necessary. I went back on 8/12 and I got help from 3 people, including Dylan. Talking about great customer service! I left with a great satisfaction and a big smile on my face. I got my new baby with great deliverance from everyone I encountered at Paradise Nursery. It was truly a trip to paradise for me. I highly recommend the pl6if you're looking for citrus trees and some exotic ones like the one I bought. read more

This spot is very well verse in the knowledge of growing. We had a few questions about how to graft walnut and fig trees (not cross graft) so that we can try it out on some trees on the property. Ash was willing to chat with us and gave us the run down how to exactly do the grafting and other crucial details (i.e. during which season is best, etc.). I called plenty of nurseries near me and none of them were able to really get into detail about grafting. Ash knew exactly what I was talking about and was well prepared. Thanks for the help. read more

This place was absolutely amazing! My husband and I brought our dads here on Father's Day so we could buy them each a fruit tree of their choice. The variety of trees here were endless! There's so many options and different kinds of each fruit. Both of our dads picked out apple trees. Most of the apple trees had fruit on them, it was cool to see. They have a lot of specialty trees also that are native to Iran. They had sour plums, sour cherries and mulberries. We grabbed one of each. The owner was even there and he was very nice! I was so excited to find rare fruit varietals on their website but wasn't thrilled about making the trip up there or paying the full delivery fee. I spoke to the nursery and they came up with a great solution. They had me reserve the trees that I wanted and then when another order for delivery came in for my area, we split the delivery cost. It made it more than reasonable! The trees were delivered this morning. The delivery driver was very professional and even helped me to move the trees right to their planting holes. The quality of the plants themselves were exceptional. This nursery really is as good as it gets. Two thumbs up!! read more

I LOVE supporting local businesses, the kinds that are owned and operated by locals. Paradise nursery specializes in fruit trees. We saw lots of mature figs, pomegranates, limes, lemons, oranges, rosemary... They had so many plants to choose from. It's a small dirt lot with people traffic so be extra cautious because it can get busy. Choosing the right tree was no easy task but we found a Meyer lemon tree and fell in love. The whole experience was magical. No one was there to greet us, but we just took a path we found. It took us all around the nursery to the way to the back to the green house. At the tail end of the path just as we were feeling fruitful we Saw a few fruits being pillaged by green Beatles. One fig had literally 15 Beatles on it. It was really disgusting, so that made our decision on a fig tree fairly easy. We eventually came across the owner and she brought us into her office and talked to us about plant care and made some recommendations. With no doubt we closed a deal on the Meyer lemon tree. We didn't negotiate the price down, I felt it wasn't necessary to cut a deal since it was only one tree. It was $85 for a 15 gallon tree... You're paying for the years of care to get it to this mature healthy point and also supporting your fellow neighbor. We purchased dirt and fertilizer for $7 paid a total of 92.50 in cash. It's going to be tough caring for plants in a drought but we are making huge efforts to reduce and reuse water. For one we do not have any decorative plants, we only maintain vegetables or fruit plants which are naturally beautiful. We have a 5 gallon bucket in the shower that catches water when we let it run waiting for it to warm up, we remove it the second it's warm and hop in. Use a big container because it'll be easier to transport that half a gallon or gallon downstairs. That water would've just gone down the drain and if that were the case we would be using extra water to cook, water and feed... With that water from the shower we use it daily to make rice, boil pasta or eggs, rinse veggies or fruit (dunking it into the bucket, all the dirt sinks to the bottom), water our basil and green onions twice a week and fill up our dog's bowl daily. It's a small effort but try it and you'll be amazed just how quickly that bucket fills up in a matter of seconds, and to think all that precious water were saving. We also have reduced our showers to 2-4 minutes each, not including turning off the water while we lather. And our dishes are practically done with a lite trickle of water, a slow but effective technique vs letting it run full blast. If you are presented the ALS challenge please goto to the beach or a lake and jumping in that water instead of letting a gallon of good water goto waste. So any who got a little carried away with the water thing. Just wanted to share that with you! Stop by Paradise for some excellent fruit trees and support local businesses! read more

Ash, The trees you delivered yesterday have their roots chopped and undeveloped. See pictures. All of them still keeping 5 gallon's shape. You sold me the 5-gallon trees in big pods, such a dishonest business. Please take them back, and refund my card. After I posted the review, Ash came and took the trees in bad condition and refunded. He helped to plant one tree wich root system was better-developed than the other trees, and I agreed to keep it. I will follow up with Ash on this tree development in two weeks. Other than, I am losing a valuable plating time, my nerves, and time finding the other trees from a different nursery - the problem with Paradise nursery is solved. read more

This has to be my new favorite nursery in the west valley. The owners and staff are great! Love the prices for the value of your purchase. It has absolutely the best quality fruit trees at medium size ranges. I wouldn't think twice where to find assorted fruit trees. This is the best nursery in the north valley for fruit trees. I bought 3 different varieties of fig trees, and a Doughnut Peach. These plants were not GMO they are grown right there on the property. So if you want something sweet and juicy for your yard or landscaping don't forget Paradise. That's Paradise Nursery for all your favorite fruit tree needs. Delicious varieties in perfect condition.
