Old store front, for the memories
    Nathan N.

I found this business on Yelp and then on Instagram, and I was immediately drawn in by the store's story. A sibling-owned, small business, plant boutique in the Valley. I gotta support! I had just gotten into plants again this past summer and was looking for inspiration. It was during their moving sale that I decided to first stop by. I was looking for a particular plant -- the Cebu blue pothos -- and no local big box store had them in stock. I was so happy to have looked up when I was here because lo and behold, I found it. Apparently I had been unlucky because I eventually saw the Cebu blue being sold everywhere around me shortly after! No regrets though because the Cebu blue here was so healthy and lush, and I got it for a decent price. Kate and Cody are always super willing to help and to give advice on plant care. I usually buy plant gifts here because the plants are well taken care of. Their selection is pretty diverse for indoor houseplants. They also sell other goods which I think make great gifts. If you have a plant lover in your life whom you need to buy a gift for, I think they would like a gift from here. (To my friends, wink wink.)

This cute shop is family owned, run by siblings with their dad making the gorgeous pottery they have available. I suck with plants, typically kill my succulents, & came in looking for advice and a cute plant for my bathroom. We told Kate what we were looking for and she gave us multiple options suited for our humid bathroom/lighting and we picked a cute colorful pot to match. Cody took the plant and repotted it in house. They have a plant urgently care in the back with reasonable prices from repotting to helping sad plants survive. Finally, best part of this place is their willingness to share plant knowledge. Kate went over how to properly water plants, repotting, etc and after taking her advice my monstera looks better than ever. Will be coming back Also it's on a cute street with other small businesses surrounding, just a nice area to walk around and pop into shops and support good people

I had the pleasure of attending a private event at this gorgeous place. The owners are super kind and were amazing hosts. I recommend stopping by and purchasing plenty of beautiful plants from them.

When you walk in you feel the extra oxygen and oxytocin drench you....at least that what I like to believe The decor is super cute and everything is clean. I spoke with Kate she was kind and very sweet. Definitely Recommend coming here.

I came to Green House looking for a housewarming gift and Kate the owner was quick to help me out-- her energy was so lovely. She saw that I was drawn to plants in the shade of pink and she pointed me in the direction of the pinkest plant they had, which I happily purchased. I paired it with a matching pot (which I later found out are handmade by Kate's father!) and Kate was kind enough to pot it for me at no extra cost. She even stuck a gemstone in the base of the plant! It made such a great gift and I cannot stress enough how good of a deal I feel I got. Besides the owner being so lovely, the vibe of the store is a treat too. There's a cute neon sign right when you walk in (photo-op!) and they play fun upbeat music as you shop. I could've spent my whole afternoon admiring all the vibrant plants and different gift ideas! After browsing their Instagram I learned that they're a sibling-owned business too, which I think makes this place pretty special. All in all, Green House really livens up Granada Hills and I'm so happy to have found this hidden gem. I'll be back soon!

I absolutely love the Green House. I first came here last year and it's been so nice to see them grow and move locations from down the street. The owners are fabulous Kate and Cody are so amazing. They are knowledgeable, friendly and just overall wonderful people. I love that it's a sibling owned business. They really know their plants!!! I love the modern look of the store they have done quite the job as its very aesthetically pleasing. They have the most beautiful plants and pots and lovely things to choose from. I recently got into plants a year ago. My first plant that I purchased from here has done so well and I cannot believe I'm a full on plant Momma now. I recently came back and purchased some more plants for my bedroom. I also purchased some pots to go with the plants and I must say they have the prettiest pots for purchase as well. They will pot it for you and will give you instructions on how to care for your plants which helps out a lot. It's nice that they take their time to help all of their customers and give them the attention they need and answer all of their questions. I highly recommend coming here it's very welcoming and I can literally spend hours here just looking around at all the lovely plants. So many options to choose from and honestly they have some inexpensive plants to choose from too. Must come here! They are located on Chatsworth Street and there is parking in front depending on the time you come or even in the back. Also bring your kids have them pick out a plant it would be nice for them to pick it out and watch it grow. It's quite an amazing experience and a great learning one too.

So happy to have Green House in Granada Hills! This wonderful plant shop is conveniently located on Chatsworth Street in Old Town GH. Parking on the street is free and usually easy to find. The shop is moderately sized, beautifully decorated and packed with a nice variety of plants, some being pretty rare. They also had adorable novelty items for plant lovers. The best part about the shop are the owners, Kate and Cody. They were so friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. They took the time to answer my daughter's many questions. We will be back!

I always skipped this store, thinking it was some kind of hipster Coffee Shop. To my surprise it's a super adorable plant shop. The owner is very sweet (Kate, I believe is her name), they sell all sorts of plant related merch. Definitely a small business worth supporting. Especially if you have a plant loving friend, I'm sure you'll find a cute gift here: Jewelry, shirts, stickers, plants, ceramics. (And a dog bowl fill with water to hydrate your pooch) Their insta @greenhousegranada @oldgranadapotter

    Such a gorgeous plant!

Last month I made a last minute request to Kate at Green House to please find me a beautiful, red hibiscus and deliver it to a couple so very dear to me. It had to be red, and had to be a good size for their lush backyard garden. Kate and Cody delivered in a spectacular way, bringing joy to my friends! I could not be more thankful for the extra effort they took to create this beautiful planter and get it delivered in short order. When I arrived and saw it in person, just a couple of days later, more flowers had bloomed and it was simply stunning! Finally, they worked well within my budget...and I truly appreciated that. If I lived closer, I know I'd be a regular at their shop!!!

Hawaiian Pothos....I bought one of the cuttings...I love they propagate some of their own plants.

My girls and I were out for my birthday and I wanted to check out a new plant store. I can say I had a very good birthday as I finally found 2 plants that I had been wanting for awhile now...Hawaiian Pothos and Syngonium Albo. Both propagations but I love I can watch them grow and I love they turned their passion into a business. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is decorated and laid out very nicely with some unique pots, plant accessories and propagations....they even make their own moss poles. Very nice place with beautiful healthy plants. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend.

Great selection of plants!! And the owners are super helpful and nice!! They also have great birthday cards and cute small gifts

Oh my goodness, the love I have for this shop is insane. Kate and Cody are THE best. I bring every friend I can here. 90% of my houseplants are from here and each plant I bring home to my collection is consistent in quality and beauty. I've been going in so consistently lately that I'm sure they're sick of seeing me! Haha (I'm jk). You walk into the shop and the views take your breath away. Then you're greeted by lovely humans! I've learned so much because Kate and Cody took the time to answer my million questions and educate me further on my plant journey. They also have plant care services! The plant Doc, if you will haha. I accidentally gave my monstera named April root rot and they took her in and cared for her for a week to make sure she was well before giving her back to me. Prices are VERY fair for the quality and experience that comes out of this amazing shop. I cannot wait to come back to see the new location and come home with another plant baby - Lourde

This little paradise felt like back home with the fragrance and royal beauty of its rare Persian trees and plants . Justin is very nice and knowledgeable about plants. The high prices are justified for the rare Persian specialties. For the rest of the plants, I am not knowledgeable enough to know. They do not offer free delivery. They also do not offer planting services unless you buy a certain number of trees and the owner approves. I wish they did. Some of us are not able bodied and need a little help planting. I found via Yelp that Paradise Nursery had an array of different types of citrus trees along with other fruit trees that I was interested in. The yellow brick road led us to a very busy free and down to the outskirts of Chatsworth. The exit from the freeway was easy and it took us straight to the nursery. I drove into the parking area and got out into the hot sun!! Citrus trees everywhere!!! It was quiet...strange. I thought there would have been more folks roaming the nursery. Guess what I found out that day as the owner (Shawn) was walking towards us. They were closed and I was trespassing (kidding!) he was nice enough to allow us to stay and find what we wanted to purchase. I felt bad. And also embarrassed at the same time. But here we are. Sixty miles away from home and all I wanted were the lemon trees. Shawn told us we can roam around and see if there was anything on his lot we would like to purchase. After a few minutes of checking out the citrus trees, my older sister wanted to see if there were other "species" of lemons. Lo and behold, she found the Buddha's' Hands and was adamant about bringing one home. Of course I couldn't say no to her so we got a 5-gallon one which had two fruits bearing the stem and then I found a mini Myer lemons and decided to bring both home. The trees came to the total of $118.00 and I cannot be any happier than to have forced my way into Shawn's nursery that day. He was a good sport and answered all the questions I had regarding taking my new plant babies home. Please note the nursery is closed Sunday and Monday. They also do delivery of your purchase to your home or office. I will be stopping by again and I promise this time, it won't be on Sunday!!
