Well here I go again. Maytag washer failed after 20 years. Kimo's came through with a brand new 'out of the box' Whirlpool H.E. Washer (Maytag is part of the Whirlpool family now). Fair price and GREAT customer service. Nina the sales rep is still a rockstar, knows these appliances like her children. The delivery guys were awesome again, Luis and Juan. I did not have a good experience at Kimo's. Came into Kimo's about 8 months back. They posted a killer deal on Craigslist, got there and they would not honor it. Owner said it was posted by mistake, and was really shitty about it, like I was trying to rip him off. Okay fine, if something seems to good to be true, it is. Was still able to find a used washer and dryer set for double the price. Install and delivery went well, they were real professional and the owner even came through to install them. 3 months later the dryer took a shit. Called Kimo's, they said it was past the warranty and could do nothing about it. I would have to pay to have it fixed or buy a new one. So I bought a new one on sale from home depot, seems to be working fine so far. Now the washer took a shit, and I'm out 900 I spent on the set plus what I have to spend on a new washer. I love the idea of buying used appliances for the discount but I ended up spending a lot more money than I would if I bought it brand new. The truth is everything is so poorly built now a days that it's going to break down no matter what. Manufacturer's want you to buy new appliances every couple years, that's their business model. And it's fucking over customers and a small business like Kimo's just trying to stay alive. It's lose, lose, unless you're the giant corporation taking advantage of honest people just trying to wash their fucking clothes. Good luck Kimo's! I'm rooting for you guys. But I won't be buying anything from your store ever again. read more

I was looking for a used appliance, hoping to score a deal on a garage refrigerator. This place is great for those who want deals and value on refrigerators. While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, everyone was really friendly and there was a great selection of both used and new appliances. The only downside is that it's a little more expensive than big box retail, which is unfortunate since this mom-and-pop shop can't quite compete on price. But if you want to support local business, you can do so at Kimo's. In the end, they didn't have something that would work for me, but I'm glad I checked it out. read more

I will searching for a refrigerator I needed one immediately. I looked every place in the valley and I was referred by Waadt to Kimo's. I called and spoke to Nina, she was very pleasant, helpful, very customer service-oriented. I told her what I was looking for she told me to hold on a moment. I came back to the phone and said, we have two choices for you, they're both brand new. We're here until 6pm. Once she told me the address I said, I drive by there every day.I had no idea I could actually come in and buy some appliances. I arrived at 5:30. Nina was at the front desk to greet me with a smile and lots of energy. I actually thought I was going to get the runaround. She was going to show me some refrigerators that I did not want. That were not the right size much. To my surprise, she went right to the 2 refrigerators told me how much they were opened them up told me all the benefits told me what the delivery would be. I was ecstatically surprised and happy. I immediately made my purchase. My refrigerator was delivered on time as promised. I would recommend them for any appliance needs and don't worry. Our refrigerator stopped cooling, and Kimo sent a team to inspect it. They determined that the refrigerator motor was faulty and too costly to fix. Amazingly, the day before Thanksgiving, Kimo delivered a new refrigerator, and it has been working perfectly since then. A lovely and nice woman named Martha said she would ask the technician. 20 minutes later she returned my call with a confirmation it can be repaired and their tech Tony would be happy to make a service visit. I was thrilled!! Tony arrived on time and within minutes provided the exact part my washer needed. I was thrilled again! Within one hour the job was completed to beyond my satisfaction. This is my second review of Kimo's because I purchased a second major appliance from them last week. I don't know why I bothered to look at other places before ending up, once again at Kimo's. They have everything. Their prices are lower than anyone else. For real. But even better, honestly, is the service and the people who work there. Greeted at the door by Nina, she noticed I wasn't feeling well and immediately gave me a cold bottle of water. Like who does that? I was shocked and so thankful at the same time. She was super helpful finding us the appliance I was looking for in my price rage with options. I went home and decided to purchase the appliance but still not feeling well did not feel like talking and guess what? I could text. No way! So happy about that. AMAZING! Love this place. I first interacted with Kimo's in February 2025 to fix the drum in my washing machine. Now, the lid won't lock which means machine won't work (July 2025). Another appliance repair company came out and quoted me close to $400 for the part and labor. umm... my washing machine is not fancy. I could buy new. I talk to Kimo's and they said - it's too much. We will come out and take care of it. AND THEY DID. For a fraction of the price. I highly recommend for any appliance needs. They are honorable, direct and easy to work with. just note... they are closed on Mondays so wait until they open before you panic about the laundry piling up ;-) read more

I was amazed they manage to haul the stove up my narrow stairs. I recently purchased a used refrigerator from Kimos Appliances and it was such an easy transaction and the pricing was excellent. Unfortunately what I purchased broke down, and I reached out to James and since I was in the 3 month warranty period, he sent out a tech free of charge to see if he could fix it. The fan had stopped working (an easy fix) but it caused other issues, and the parts were hard to find. Within a 24 hour period, they replaced my fridge with a new one (it has just come in with slight floor damage) and James and his assistant recommended this one to me. In addition the pricing was a savings from the "floor Damaged" ones I saw at the big box stores of over $300. I have become so used to lack of knowledgeable customer care in todays times, that I was almost unnerved at first and had to ask again. If you are looking for any type of appliance, they offer them all, used, slightly used, floor models, I highly recommend it is worth a call or a visit to Kimos Appliances. Our dryer was making an odd rubbing/scrapping sound so I called this outfit for a repair. 2 men showed up. They were here for about 10 minutes max. Showed me a part they said came from my dryer. I paid them $125 cash. Asked for a receipt, they said call the office. Sure enough, next time we used the dryer the scraping sound is still there. $125 for 10 minutes of work. Dryer not repaired. Had an old dryer checked out by a different tech and told that it would cost more to repair than to replace. I looked online to purchase a used dryer and went to Kimo's. The owner, James, only had one dryer that would possibly work for me but asked why was wrong with my old dryer and I showed him the video and he said, my guy can fix that. His tech came 2 days later and sure enough fixed it for $175 with a 90 day warranty. Instead of pressuring me for a sale, he genuinely helped me out and saved me quite a bit of time, money and hassle. I would def use them again. read more

We purchased a used washer and dryer. The washer did not work and the dryer was pre-historic. The first time the maintenance crew came out (on a Thursday), they said they needed a part and it would be replaced the following Tuesday. The washing machine leaked . Friday that week they said here was no longer a placement part available and said that they would make it right the following week - 14 days with no working washing machine. The repair folks exchanged the washing machine and this one did not work either. We went into the store, upgraded our purchase for a more expense set. This was delivered the following Tuesday and this washer does not work either - it gets to the rinse cycle and stops. We have had it with this company and will not ever purchase anything from there again. Three strikes and they're out. read more

Avoid this business like the Plague! Bait & switch tactics - unethical business practices. Needed to sell a dryer (thats almost new!) So we contacted them to see what they would give us. For a $675 retail price machine, they offered $50. Ok, pretty low and not what we want. Fine. We keep it in mind. Fast forward to last night we tell them 48 hrs in advance that we need it gone and we'll take the $50. We offered to have them come out after business hrs if they preferred to make the deal happen. Instead, they bait & switched and saw an opportunity to take advantage of the situation. They told us they can make it out on monday BUT they can make it out on the day we want IF we give them the dryer for free. Are you serious guys? What a joke! I rather not do anything with the dryer than waste time driving out to meet them so that they could pick it up for FREE and then sell it for $300 on their website (they are selling an older model Kenmore for $300 for reference). I understand times are tough and you need business but if this is way you're going to go about it then you might as well close your doors and switch careers. If you're reading this review then do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere to a business that still has integrity and honest practices. read more
