This company has been serving our apartment complex for many years, and they never disappoint. Most recently, they delivered a stove and a refrigerator, and once again the service was excellent. The team is professional, efficient, and dependable. We truly appreciate their consistent great work. read more

The crap AC they sold me never worked. Doesn't cool under 70 degrees. Why even sell this crap? The AC is at my parents house and they are elderly, you are a fraud read more

So I feel this review should have the most weight since we have used them so many times. Its a corporate account and pretty much forced to use them. We have ordered more then 10 refrigerators from them. 80 to 90% they can't follow basic directions. Call 30 minutes before you come, almost never happens. Hello I am here. I asked you to call so we could have someone there. It's okay, I am here. They can't or don't email anything so it's not in writing. They work and craftsmanship is horrible. I will send our corporate office a request to end doing business with them. I asked the guy on the phone to measure a refrigerator and he wouldn't do it. Said the specs are right, he was lazy and they weren't right. The end. read more

Varouj Appliances will life and deceive and attempt to defraud you. I purchased an item for more than $700 from them through Walmart.com. I received an email from them with a tracking number and shipping information that was fake. After three phone calls with them and no delivery a full week after the email they sent said the item would be delivered, they finally admitted that their warehouse was in "chaos" and they didn't even have the item I ordered and didn't know when they would have it. They lied for over a week and those lies included making up shipping tracking numbers. I have reported them to autboru Update: It's been nearly two weeks and still no refund that they said had been out through nearly two weeks ago. Stay away from these con artists read more

I've never written a negative Yelp review before but since these guys left a card saying rate us on yelp and provided lousy service they deserve it. I'm very happy with the refrigerator they delivered BUT they gave me a time window of 9am - 1pm and showed up at 3:30pm which made me late for a student. I asked them to take their shoes off in my place and they didn't. Because I anticipated their late arrival I put all my food into bags to facilitate the transfer. I pointed that out to the delivery person who had no comment. The other guy tracked some huge stains onto my carpet which I pointed out and they did nothing about it. read more

I came here specifically because of the phenomenal delivery person who came to deliver a refrigerator today. Ronnie went WAY above and beyond his usual responsibilities to help us put the refrigerator in our apartment. I was astounded by how much he offered to help (move items, take out other items, etc). He even helped me move wine glasses so they wouldn't break when he was putting the refrigerator in our apartment! I was by myself and my husband just had hernia surgery and really couldn't do anything, so this was so amazing. Thank you Varouj. I will refer you to everyone I know. read more

My landlord had a new fridge from here delivered to us yesterday. The delivery men, Ara and Chris worked were friendly, fast, and professional. They were in and out in a jiffy. Gargin, who I only spoke with via phone, was also helpful and kindly answered some questions I had prior to delivery. Great team! read more

I have a fairly unique Star Air Kontrol air conditioning system and I needed a replacement filter. After visiting a hardware store, I was referred here. I gave a couple measurements to Ted and after looking in the back he found exactly what I needed. No-nonsense appliance shop with excellent customer service. Can't get better than that. Ted and the fellas at Varouj have got themselves one heck of a store. I'll be back again and again! read more

I needed a wall oven replacement. My general contractor guided me to Varouj appliances. I am glad he did as I found it is like day and night dealing with them compared to dealing with home depot, Lowe's or other outfits. Saul was very friendly and helpful. He delivered the oven with the installers yesterday and it was a perfect fit. The whole order and execution done in 3 days. It is a find for me as in the future I deal only with Varouj appiances. They even lowered the price $100 from home depot price. read more

Please give Ruben a raise and promotion. He was very pleasant and extremely helpful getting our new fridge into its place at our new home. No issues with install No issues with delivery No issues with communication Very quick and professional service I will definitely use you guys again and I appreciate the help getting us what we needed. Thanks again to Ruben as well. You're knowledgeable and professional, and as a business owner I myself know how difficult it is to find good people. A++ read more

Talk about service! Varouj is the Best. My dishwasher went out and in just a few days the new one I purchased was being delivered. Roberto and Daniel, earlier than expected, called to announce they were 15 minutes away and they came in friendly and professional and had it installed and tested in about twenty minutes. They left my kitchen spotless and carried away the old one. They handed me the manuel & samples explaining everything I needed to know. Thanks for making this the most pleasant experience I have had through out the Holidays! You guys are the Best! read more

Caution!! They will not stand behind their products! Bought a brand new refrigerator that stopped working shortly after. Said I had to take it up with warranty group, who never answers their phone! Not helpful, and not a good experience at all. Suggest you buy your appliances someplace else where they will stand behind them. read more

Good service and their people were friendly, i can recommend Varouj Appliances to my friends and relatives

Another great experience!!! Todays team: Andy & Ara So polite and helpful! Quick, clean installation. Doesn't get better than this in terms of pricing, ease and reliability. Andy was very knowledgeable and accommodating and Ara was friendly and very efficient. THanks for a good experience. Great way to start this work day. read more

After much research I found the exact refrigerator that I wanted and called to place my order. The price change from $ 1428 to well over $2,000! After a long hold he said that's a price from several years ago and they have been updated prices on the website and tariffs are up blah blah. When asked if I made the order online it would be different he said they would just cancel my order until I agree to pay more, what a scam! read more

Armond and Andy were quick, knowledgeable and professional. They were done installing my new microwave before I even realized. Usually anything with an installation seems like a pain, but these guys really did make it easy. Would use them again. read more

This is the third time I have needed to use this company. Each time they are very communicative, on time, helpful. My boss has several rentals and always requires smaller appliances. Miro is an expert when it comes to finding exactly what we need. I will continue to use Varouj over and over. Thanks to Christian and George for finding us when the GPS tells them the wrong direction. Next time we shall all confirm what ZIP Code we are in. read more

I bought a dishwasher from these guys. They were selling through the Sears site (I have contacted Sears as well regarding this). The machine came very promptly. Unfortunately, the top rack would not get cleaned was hardly touched) and none of them were dried. I went on the net and troubleshooted, ran multiple cycles etc, but no dice. So I had to go through the pain in the butt of returning this thing. The Sears site indicated I first needed to go through the vendor, so i launched an email to Varouj. Nothing for a day, so I called the next morning (I am renovating my kitchen and so was a little impatient) at 7:30 AM and got a message saying they opened at 8:30. Called at 9, same message. Called at 10, same message. Finally got through at noon and some one answered mumbling "mumblemumble Appliance can you hold" click. Was on hold for maybe 5 minutes. Person #2 answers, I explain and they transfer me to another area. Hold. Person #3 answers and sends me somewhere else. hold. Person#4 answers and listened to my tale again. He then let me know a ticket was created for me, emails have been sent to me and i should hear back from the next person soon. I said i was in a hurry, he said it would be an hour or so. Nice guy. I logged in to the site and went to the ticket a couple hours later. It was asking me to describe the issue. i did. A couple hours later i asked for an update. About an hour later I got something saying it would be 2-3 days while they "complete their research and provide resolution". UGH! Returning this was already not in the cards, this sucks. I explained that I was unfortunately in the middle of this kitchen reno project and would appreciate some speed. Nothing until the next day, when i got an email saying that they will send a technician out to service the thing in 2-3 days. Now I am getting steamed. We are on lock-down in my state due to the Coronavirus. No one is comeing into my house unless it is an emergency. Deep breath. I remind him that I am RETURNING this machine and look forward to a prompt refund and directions on where to send it etc. He gets back to me the next day and quotes a law that gives them the right for an opportunity to fix it. If I send it back, it will be subject to restocking fees. Fine. This was bad experience with a terrible company, I will bite the bullet. I told him I would expect companies to adapt a little better during this outbreak and to let me know what the damage is. I haven't heard back in a couple of days. I have ordered a replacement from Amazon and it's already in my living room, waiting. Do NOT order from these guys on line. I have never posted on here, but if I can update you with what they charged me, I will. read more

These guys are top notch! From ordering the wall unit AC over the phone, to the two sets of installers who came out (no fault of theirs - my cut-out wasn't big enough for the AC unit), they were professional from start to finish. They worked their butts off in this heat to make sure the unit would fit. I wish I had central AC, but since I don't this baby will have to do! read more

BEWARE OF THESE GUYS Absolutely horrible across the board. I recently purchased a refrigerator from them and they installed as well. They dented my fridge, scratched my floors, and kinked my brand new water supply line which i paid a plumber to install and had to pay again to fix. No water was coming from the dispenser meaning they didnt even test it. These guys have no idea how to do there job. Horrible customer service as well. STAY AWAY amd save yourself the heartache. These guys are scam artists and wont even come back to fix there own mistakes and damage. There is no way the yelp reviews on this page are legit. These fraud guys must be paying people for reviews or something. Please please stay clear from these guys. I promise you will regret it. read more

Great service, fast order & delivery of the model we wanted. Appreciate their hustle! Installation was easy and everything looks great. They do seem busy, took a few days to nail down the specifics, but super happy they could get us a same week replacement, so it all worked out. Also, they came at the very beginning of their installation window time, which no one ever does! So lovely to not be stuck at home waiting. read more

This place is shady, I can't believe I fell for this crap. My mother was looking for a washing machine she was gipped into buying a machine that wasn't on there books, so they brought the price down to sweeten the deal. When she got it they had a no return policy what so ever. When we used the machine it was awful in cleaning clothes, the machine was the was the worst of its kind in washing clothes. When I called them back to let them know that the machine was not good at washing clothes. They gave me the number to the previous owner that got them stuck with the hot potato "the crappy washing machine" he was very all about how he moved and needed to get rid of it because his new place had machines and he didn't need it any more etc. Some old Armo that gave it to these Armo's to sell to other people and rip them off. So then I called the Sears where previous owner bought the dam machine they said he didn't pay for insurance on it it was way passed 30 days of returning it. Not to worry the machine still had 6 month of coverage under warranty. If you don't wanna a head ache don't buy anything from these shady people. This is a buisness that needs to be brought down and taken to legal actions. They don't care about you or your problems, and I can see this happening to other people. read more

First time to use them, after seeing the Yelp reviews. Yelp didn't disappoint! I dealt with Miro, and he was polite, courteous, and personable on the phone. He answered my questions and I didn't feel rushed. I initially got a 12K BTU 110v a/c from them, but when they installed it in the apartment unit, we found out that while electrical outlet for the ac was 110, the circuit was 220v. When I told Miro the problem, he had no problem waiting for me to have the outlet repaired by an electrician, then taking back the unit they installed, didn't charge a restocking fee, and installed a 14K BTU 220v unit. No hassle, no headache. Their prices for the unit and delivery are very reasonable! They were also prompt with their deliveries. I also liked the fact that you can call and always talk to a live voice, which is very rare nowadays. Very accommodating with requests. Thank you Miro for being easy to deal with, and not adding to the headache of not having a functioning ac on a very hot week. Highly recommended, you guys! read more

Varouj Appliances - Great! - Appliances Near Me - North Hollywood, California

I use Varouj Appliances all the time to install microwaves and stoves in apartments we rent out in the san Fernando valley. What I like about Varouj the most is sometimes we get measurements incorrect or order the wrong sized appliance and they are very accommodating when we make these mistakes. You can tell they also care about their customers because of how accurate they are with their appointments and getting appliances install in a crunch. There have been numerous times where we call Varouj with a rush order and they ALWAYS get the job done in time. A few years back I used to work for a Property Management company called LB Property Management and we used Varouj back then too and they have been awesome since then. read more

Badd customer service. 2nd time I have an issue with this company. Sadly the company that I work for works with them, and hopefully that will change soon. 1st time not only the flooded an apartment with their unprofessional bad installation of a dishwasher in addition the customer service was horrible is well even though its their fault. Wouldn't recommend. read more
