Tasty donuts, reasonably priced, friendly service. I can't wait to go back to try the cheesecake. The only reason I give a 4 instead of 5 is that the icing was a bit too thick/sweet but I guess that's a personal thing. It won't stop me from going back. I really appreciate a fresh product. Please note that cash is preferred and if you're using your card you need to spend $10.

Fantastic long established neighborhood business serving up delicious cakes, cookies, donuts and pastries. They do special order for any occasion and cakes to go.

The smell alone of Federhofer's is incredible. This place is such a staple in our community and I was happy to be able to support local when I needed some cookies for an event! They sell cookies by the pound, and I ended up getting three pounds to go along with a hot chocolate bar. They had an incredible variety of small cookies that literally melt in your mouth. Some were cookies they have all year round while some were holiday themed. Tons of attendees asked where they were from, they were definitely a hit. Parking lot is pretty big right off of gravois, and the staff was super kind and helpful. They have a massive variety of options, definitely recommend checking them out.

Their glazed donut is one of my favorites in the city! It's seriously so good! The staff is super friendly. Bring cash because they have a minimum for cards

Federhofers is a family owned bakery right down the street from my house! Their goods are always exceptional, they have seasonal treats, and the workers are always extremely pleasant. I ordered a small birthday cake for my 28th, and it was a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream. Simply delicious. Very affordable as well. If you want to go to a place with marvelous cakes, pastries and breads... Federhofers will not disappoint you. It helps to go early, as they have a huge variety. You'll be welcomed with a chilly, but deliciously aromatic atmosphere.

Wonderful bakery with an extensive offering of baked goods. The smell upon entering is only what I imagine sugar plum fairies bring in dreams. We had an attentive clerk that helped us. A favorite!

I stumbled upon this bakery a few years ago and have been coming back ever since. We love their cookies and petit fours. I went in this week to grab some treats for a birthday. They had the cutest mini dinosaur and dog cakes. The ladies working are always helpful.

Federhofer's Bakery is a St. Louis Institution. This Bakery has stood the test of time. They produce great baked goods, sweet treats, and help make amazing family memories for their customers. Bringing Cake's from Federhofer's to any Birthday or Celebration will have the whole group asking where you got the cake. Our family favorite from here is the Shadow Cake. The Shadow Cake is one layer Chocolate, one layer White Cake with Chocolate Icing that falls over the edges of the cake. Other favorites are the Gooey Butter Pastry, Carmel Pastry, and Cherry Pastry. They also have many types of homemade donuts. Federhofer's has there own parking lot. They are open on Sunday's which is very much appreciated. I will be back soon.

I had to text multiple people mid soup to tell them about it. The chicken was flavorful, and huge pieces. The soup itself was so delicious. It felt like a warm hug. I ordered the cottage pie. So delicious and hearty. The braised short rib was so tender. The potatoes were perfectly whipped. I cannot wait for the leftovers. My friend ordered the lasagna. The lamb was incredible. So hearty, and didn't feel heavy like some lasagnas can be. The serving size was huge. We will also be eating this tomorrow! Now the apple crisp. We were full by course two, but we had to dig in. It was fresh out of the oven. The vanilla bean whipped cream was so fresh and balanced out the crisp. The apples were perfectly jammy and the cinnamon was so intense but perfect. This made me feel like I was sitting in my grandma's dining room eating dessert after Sunday dinner. If you see any of these items appear on their menu, run-- and I will see you there!
