Came here for a Yelp event and my boys really enjoyed their cookies. Since my youngest doesn't like cake, I decided to get him a cookie cake here. Ordering online was super easy. You add you messages and colors close to the end as you are paying under the Notes section. Its such a cute little cookie shop! I went to pick it up and was greeted right away. I was in the area and have been meaning to try Vanilla Sugar so I pulled in the lot. There were not spots next to the building but the lot went around two buildings in back and more parking behind. I appreciated the well painted arrows directing the right way around as it was a pretty tight space. When I got around front I could see several people inside and there were some outside, too. I went in and it was packed! It is a pretty small space and there were about 5 people waiting on coffee. Since it was my first time in, I wanted to look around so I let a newcome go ahead of me. I looked as much as I could and then went ahead and ordered. I took the last shortbread and also selected a large chocolate chip cookie. I got a bonus cake pop as they were giving them with a purchase. The counter person was nice, but it was hard to navigate and really look around with so many people. I tried the shortbread before driving away and it was really good, I know my husband will like it, too so I am sure I will be heading back for that. read more

Lindsey & Stella were so sweet & a great help getting our cookies. They have so many options to choose from, it was difficult to narrow down what we wanted! I think we got there right when some chocolate chip cookies came out of the oven & they were incredible!! They were sweet, had tons of chocolate, & were very soft. We also got the oatmeal cream pie & double chocolate chip with m&ms & both are so delicious. The bakery was easy to find & had parking on the side of the building. The most adorable bakery. Met the owner and her daughter and they were so sweet! The smell when you walk in is delectable. The store is small, quaint and perfect! We had a very hard time choosing and we ended up snagging the last funfetti cookie, the last carrot cake Sammie, got a smore cookie and decorated sugar cookie. I am very picky on my decorated sugar cookies because usually beautiful cookies are hard and do not have a delightful flavor. I will have to admit, her decorated sugar cookie is the best I've ever had. Perfect texture, soft, and the taste was incredible. The carrot cake Sammie and the smore cookie were new cookies for me. Fabulous little shoppe right in the heart of STL Webster Groves. Owner was as sweet as her cookies. Loved getting to stop by before close to grab some desserts. We went to Vanilla Sugar on Friday morning. We chatted with Katie, one of the owners. She is the one who makes the beautiful Sugar Cookies. They had a large variety of yummy looking treats and they didn't just look yummy, they tasted delicious! We tried several different things, Oreo cookie, Oatmeal Creme cookie (which my husband described as amazing!), Gooey Butter cookie, Lemon Crumb cookie (which my BFF described as Delicious!) and the cake pops. Everything was really good. I'm anxious to go back and try more things! Parking is mostly on the street, but you can't park on the street between 4 - 6 pm. I took my boys to this spot on a Saturday and met Lindsey. It was the very end of the day but she was still friendly and answered my sons' million questions with a smile! We took home the snicker doodle and my son also wanted the vanilla macaroon he called a "burger"! Great little bakery. I met one of the owners when I came in to get a couple sweet bites. She was really nice and we talked for a while. It was great to hear the story of the bakery. Lots of yummy items to choose from. The Samore's cookie was amazing. A nice little surprise of some sea salt on top of it that made it just perfect. The shortbread was really good as well. It was very flaky and light. They have the cutest decorated Easter cookies, the best thing was you could get just a slice of cookie cake. Everything is fresh and baked that day. The parking is limited but easy to access on the side of this quaint little shop! We had the sweetest girl help us make a selection from the cases they were well stocked and pristine! So incredibly charming! My coworker told me about this spot and it instantly caught my attention. As a fan of vanilla cake and vanilla frosting, the name in itself made my ears perk up! What's not to love with some sugar mixed in? I was heading out of town to stay at a friends house and didn't want to show up empty handed. She has a young daughter that loves sweets so I thought that getting some cookies would be a great idea. The spot itself is charming and quaint. Not a place to stand around and hang out, but that's not the point of a bakery. The concept is efficient and fits. The inside is aesthetic and pleasing, it's bright and is adorned with some bright colors, neon sign, and of course the works of baked art. It was before Halloween when I visited, so I saw some ghost cake pops and was instantly sold. They were so cute and decorated perfectly. The sticks used were glitter which gave a nice pizzaz to the whole look. I also got a couple of chocolate chip cookies for my friends to enjoy, and I got myself a goodie out of the "reject basket." Shortbread of all appearances will work just fine for me. The short bread was light and airy but still had a density to it. I ended up grabbing a coffee down the road and it was a nice accompaniment.
