We went here for pastries and tamales. The Tamales were pretty tasty. I am usually not a Tamales…read morefan but these were good. They have lots of pastries selections and they taste not too sweets which is good. I wish the pastries were also listed in English because I cannot tell what they were and just select them with how they look and hoping they have custard inside. There were just too many of them for me to web search it.

The moment you step into Diana's, you're wrapped in the warm, sweet aroma of a traditional panadería -- fresh breads, sugar-topped pastries, and that unmistakable feeling that everything here is made con amor. The pastry cases are a celebration of color and flavor -- pillowy conchas, golden empanadas, trays of vibrant pan dulce, and fresh breads like bolillos and telera rolls that practically beg to come home with you. Every bite feels authentic, comforting, and joyful -- the kind of baking that carries tradition in every crumb. The conchas are especially spectacular -- soft, lightly sweet, with that perfect sugary shell. Pair one with a cup of coffee and suddenly the whole morning feels like a little fiesta. I especially love popping in and picking up fresh bread for Sunday brunch. There's something about bringing home warm bolillos or sweet pastries that instantly turns brunch into a celebration. But what really makes Diana's shine is the spirit of the place. There's warmth, laughter, and that welcoming neighborhood energy that makes you want to linger just a little longer. The staff are so gracious and kind -- the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like familia. Diana's Bakery is more than a bakery. It's flavor, tradition, culture, and alegría all in one beautiful little spot on Cherokee Street. Auténtico. Delicioso. Puro sabor latino. -- Big Daddy Tedd Energy

If you love all things chocolate, this is the place for you. We came here after dinner on Thursday…read morebecause I was craving a brownie and I knew theirs would slap. We walked in and were warmly greeted by the bartender/server. Water and menus were immediately given, as well as some complimentary chocolate chip cookies. Everything on the menu looked so good, but I already knew I wanted the Bailey's brownie. My boyfriend got the banana split. After a short while our desserts arrived and I couldn't wait to dive in. The brownie was the perfect mixture of caramel and chocolate and mixed in with the ice cream was the cherry on top. I relished each bite and my palate was more than satisfied once I finished. In addition to the decadent dessert was the stellar service. Our water was always filled and it was a great experience. I'll def be coming back for my future brownie fix!

At 5min after close he was outright rude & said to basically get out. I understand we were a few min past closing but that behavior was uncalled for. Unfortunately they are closing so they just didnt care. But they do have other restaurants I no longer want to patronize based on this experience. The drinks were mostly good. Strong & tasty but the service left a bad taste.

This is an amazing ice cream shop that uses nitrogen and makes your ice cream while you wait. It's quite a fascinating process to watch, and it leaves your ice cream with the most incredibly smooth texture. They have all the regular flavors, then they have alcohol infused flavors, and seasonal flavors as well. I chose the seasonal blackberry crumble, which is served with a cinnamon ice cream base. I think they use Vietnamese cinnamon because the flavor was amazingly intense. While their ice cream is priced higher than the average place, it is of higher quality, a larger portion, and premium ingredients are featured. It's well worth it. It's definitely in my top three favorite ice cream shops. There's a few scattered tables inside, but quite a few more on the patio outside. The staff was working so hard and I can't imagine how sore their wrists must be at the end of the night. Everyone was great.

I quickly scanned the area for some cool concept ice-cream places near me & came across this. Off I go, trying to catch them before they close up! Ice-cream quality: Definitely give you a buzz, the grown-ups version . Tasted pretty good and it's the real deal! Price- Expensive! A small cup was $15 easily Experience: Watch nitrogen ice-cream being made infront of you. Cool concept. Service: Nothing spectacular stood out Restaurant: Cute, fun, & inviting Recommendation: Give them a try! It's all about the experiences & creating memories! YOLO!

I'd give this one star if possible. I really hate to leave negative reviews but I have to update…read morethe one I left 8 years ago. I had been a frequent & loyal customer here for many years. Last year, (I waited that long) I sent Simone, the owner, a message on instagram to let her know I was frustrated about having trouble getting any of the crème puffs she was constantly advertising. They were one of my favorite pastries she made. (Obv not super important I just thought she may not know & what could it hurt giving her some input from a customer, she may know know?) In this message I also told her how long I'd been supporting her & why and how much I loved her bakery. She is black, female, and truly an artist and master at her craft. With a good personality, That being said; she unleashed her fury on me, one of the angriest most condescending messages I had ever read. Not sure if I caught her on a bad day or she just doesn't handle feedback well. I was stunned and disappointed. Either way, I would never consider stepping foot into her bakery ever again. Her window has maybe 5 things to choose from. It's pretty sad, but there were 2 items I love love loved, and I drove out of my way and paid top dollar for those items. She's by far one of the most expensive bakeries in St. Louis, but I enjoyed supporting her I thought she was great. And she has a moving story. Sadly she doesn't know how to handle customers or feedback. I'm in customer service, 30 years, that's not how you do it, I still think she's a cool Person but not enough to support her. We have a ton of fabulous bakeries here I'd rather go to like Nathaniel Reid or Russell's or MO baking co....
