Upcharge for my choice of bread. No prices are provided on the menu. Sandwiches, sides, and a drink for 2 people for $35 was much more than we anticipated. I wouldn't mind returning, but my wallet would have something to say about it. This is at least somewhat the fault of inflation... but with prices not posted in the restaurant, I wonder whether the prices vary. Their Italian sausage is a favorite of mine and I almost always have some in the freezer. I like all their sandwiches but over the summer they were doing a BLT that has no peer. Besides the bacon from their butcher shop they also used thick slices of heirloom tomatoes that were ripe and full of flavor. That extra touch with tomatoes you normally have to grow on your own did it for me.
