I ended up here around 10-11 am, so selection was small. We still enjoyed the donuts that we got, which included red velvet, Bavarian cream chocolate, powdered etc. They were good, not great. The Bavarian looked like it had the chocolate topped when it was still warm and it was pretty thin and runny. Perhaps an earlier day experience would've been better and had more selection. The parking area is small and busy, but doable. The prices are ok. The staff was nice.

Worlds Fair Donuts were SO amazing!! I took 44 people - teenagers and a few parents to St. Louis for a field trip on Friday and this was our first stop. They had all of our donuts ready for us and the service was great!! I highly recommend the Gooey Butter Cake Donut!!! It was delicious! Everyone in our group commented about how delicious the donuts were.

I've driven past World's Fair Donuts more times than I can count, and my curiosity finally got the best of me. I was on my way home from a local farmer's market on a Saturday morning and decided to make a last-minute stop. The parking lot is very small, but luckily I found a spot to park while I ran inside for my sweet treats. Cash only, but there's an ATM inside or you can actually just Venmo them like I did! Everything looked and smelled delicious. I am a BIG sprinkle fan, so any donut covered in sprinkles is an absolute must for me. I ended up ordering four donuts: chocolate with sprinkles, gooey butter cake, blueberry crumble, and classic glaze. The blueberry crumble looked better than it tasted in my opinion, but it wasn't bad by any means. The chocolate sprinkle donut was perfectly covered in lots of yummy chocolate icing, but it probably could've used a few more sprinkles ;) The glaze is classic but I promise won't let you down... it practically melts in your mouth. I had never had a gooey butter cake donut until now, and this one was by far the best donut out of the four I purchased. It was so unique, and I think this is my new favorite way to eat gooey butter! While they aren't my favorite donuts I've found in St. Louis, they will definitely hit the spot the next time you're craving one. And I'll probably be back sometime soon for another gooey butter donut! PS - Apologies that the donuts in my pictures have bites out of them. I obviously couldn't wait to try them!

Donuts were fresh and super soft! Shop is small but the charm is perfect. Loved the character and service provided.

They share a very small parking lot with up late. Male employee was very welcoming and helpful. The donuts were soft and fresh. One of the best donuts I've had in a long time. They have an orange filled donut that is amazing. Recommended.

Always wanted to try this place....today it was open....so we tried it. Well....I'll say this: Go to Donut Drive Inn on Chippewa. Apple fritter: 1 star and was terrible. Dough is all gaumy and nasty. The taste was lousy. Glazed donut: 3 stars....These were ok and much better than the fritter....but not a top notch donut by any means. Conclusion: Go to Donut Drive Inn instead. It's a 5 star; great great donut shop!

Amazing. Worth the hype! Friendly staff. Got the banana cream pie. The classic glazed. The blueberry cake. All were awesome. Fav would be the glazed. Fluffy. Light. Not too sweet. The blueberry cake is also a great version. The banana cream pie was good, no glaze so not too sweet. I would've liked more banana cream but it was tasty. Definitely delicious donuts!

I've been wanting to check out this cute little place that we always drive past. It's located in the middle of a busy intersection, but wasn't crowded @8am... The cake donuts were solid. A little doughier than other cake donuts. Not as sweet as some places have and the variety wasn't as large on this morning. The parking is slim for this area, but no issues because there wasn't a line. Overall good, but not the best in STL. It is cash only, but signs say you can also use Venmo or cash app.

Ok - let me start by telling you - I flew into STL and called my Lyft to take me directly to World's Fair Donuts. (my driver was thoroughly confused why at 7:30AM I was going there) I had been eyeing up their options and had time to waste before meeting up with the group I flew in to see - so World's Fair was my first stop. The woman who was working was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I got myself a few options and each one was fantastic! The place is very small, there isn't seating, and they don't take credit cards - so bring your cash (or have your Venmo ready) - come hungry, and enjoy every flavor! This was a total win for me to start my STL weekend this way, so thanks, WFD! :)

Great service. Smiling, friendly faces. Vegan cinnamon twists were so good! Will be back over and over when we visit STL. Also, parking is kind of crappy, get in where you fit in kinda corner parking lot. 10/10 recommend!

Up Late -- 11/10 -- new late night concept operating out of World Fair Donut. Tried the breakfast sandwich and carne asada taco. Carne asada taco is possibly best in STL! Breakfast sandwich is delicious and would hit the spot after a night of drinking especially. Ordering happens via QR code and then you wait until you get a text. Amazing place you must try!

I admit it, I've never been here before it closed the first time. We came late on Labor Day, so they were down to slim Pickens. It was the single best glazed donut I've ever had. Ever. Lightly crispy with a doughy center. I guarantee these are orgasmic when they are hot and fresh. No joke. It makes total sense that when we got the last two glaze the guy behind us just left... I felt bad but then when I had it I didn't feel so bad anymore. Wear a mask or you won't get in. Line is outside and socially distanced. Cash only. Yes there is an ATM inside. Yes, it's incredible and worth it. The blueberry cake are delicious as well, no dense dry cake here, you guys. The real deal. I'm so glad this place was saved and reopened so I could enjoy this. Kids loved it! We will be back, for sure.

The conchas are especially spectacular -- soft, lightly sweet, with that perfect sugary shell. Pair one with a cup of coffee and suddenly the whole morning feels like a little fiesta. My favorite treat was the Raspberry Lemon Financier. It was so good the next morning with my home brewed coffee. Then that evening I enjoyed a Lemon Cake whose name I cannot recall. My only dislike and it's minor, is that they serve Kaldi's Coffee. I'm glad they are supporting another local small business, but I am not a fan of their product. Typically when I know a cafe serves Kaldi's, I pass on the coffee, but I made an exception here.

Honestly, if you judged it by the outside, you might drive right past it. There is one parking spot in front, and then a run down parking lot behind and to the side. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was back in my childhood. The lime green decor, the dark bakery display cases filled with buns, and the small plates of food inside reminded me of the Cantonese bakeries I grew up going to. They also had ready to go meals wrapped up to take home. We bought a bunch of things to try. We had the beef cheung fun, siu mai, BBQ pork baos, sesame balls, egg custard tarts, and one of my favorites, the giant round sponge cake. Everything was fresh and really tasty. The roast pork looked delicious too, with nice crispy skin. The biggest surprise for me was seeing lo po beng (Old Wife Cake). We can hardly ever find it on the East Coast, so whenever we do, we always buy some for my mom. Seeing it here made me so happy. I live in the Metro D.C. area, where we have some really good Cantonese bakeries, so I wasn't expecting much from this tiny place. But honestly, Wei Hong Bakery could definitely give many of the bakeries back home a run for their money. Don't let the outside fool you. If you're looking for authentic Cantonese bakery items in St. Louis, this little bakery is absolutely worth a visit. It brought back so many childhood memories, and I'd definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.
