The cookie was incredibly well balanced -- floral, citrusy, and not overly sweet -- and easily one of the best cookies I've had in a while. It's also a pretty large cookie, so good for sharing... or not The berry trio walnut bread had great structure despite being packed with nuts and dried fruits -- really thoughtfully baked and especially amazing toasted. The staff were incredibly friendly. I decided to order some lumpia to go, and while they were preparing it, I took some time to browse the bakery and market section. I ended up grabbing several bag of chips and a slice of cake as well. The lumpia were perfectly crispy with great flavor, and the cake was incredibly moist. The bangus only came as half with the combo (I'm not sure if that's standard), which was a bit disappointing since I'm used to getting a whole bangus. The lechon had a slightly off taste possibly from the oil used. I ended up cutting it up and putting it in the air fryer, which helped a bit, especially with Mang Tomas. My kids were excited for the ube bread, but there was barely any ube. Thankfully, I had ube jam at home to add more. That said, I'm still glad this restaurant is here representing the Filipino community. It's wonderful that they host gatherings and bring people together. I do think there's room for improvement, especially when it comes to showcasing Filipino food well for those who may be trying it for the first time.

They wipe dates on their products and put new dates in on any overages they have so they don't have to report "stales." They work their drivers 15-17 hours a day and they pay on commission only - no overtime. Ever. Their trucks have bald tires and every single one of them have something that doesn't work. They do not comply with DOT OR DOL regulations. The management is incompetent and unrealistic regarding their status in the St. Louis community. They had a great opportunity to pick up the Hostess slack but they had no idea how to go about it. They do not pay their bills on time or at all, but send their drivers to demand payments when a client is late. If you are AT ALL considering using Theodoro Bakery for your restaurant/catering business, be warned. Contact Flowers Bakeries instead.
