Wonderful dinner. Had the specials and they did not disappoint. Extensive wine list which I appreciate and my husband enjoyed a vodka tonic with tonic they make in-house. Service and presentation well done. I would go back again next time I am in Tucson. read more

Can't say enough positive things about this restaurant... The food was absolutely amazing. They accommodated our group of nine with short notice, and made us feel so welcome! The chef came out and asked us how our food was during our meal, showing how much he cares about his customer's satisfaction. You'll have to try it yourself to be blown away by the phenomenal food at Feast! read more

We dined here fairly late on a Thursday night. I had the Seared Mahi Sandwich on a curry-buttered bun, with sweet and spicy carrot glaze and coconut-cabbage slaw. Served with a side salad for $11. It was just ok. The slaw was great, but I was not a fan of the bun. My husband had the Sherry-glazed Seared Duck Breast with mustard-braised shallots, potatoes and green beans. Served with fried olives. I really liked his fried olives!!! The ambiance was trying to be upscale, but there are very basic table and chairs. It was very quiet. We were sat RIGHT next to a women dining alone reading a book, so I felt awkward talking. We ordered 2 glasses of wine. Since they are known to have a great wine list, I asked for recommendations to pair with our meal, however both of our wines weren't our favorite. $60 for a sandwich, glass of wine and my husbands meal seemed excessive for what we got. And I don't mind paying for good food. As everyone seems to love this place, I will come back as the menu changes read more

Even though we had no reservation they provided us a nice table. All the employees here were very friendly and attentive and our server ALEX was exactly what you want a great server to be. The food was great along with our drinks and we will definitely return next time we are in Tucson. read more

We've spent nearly every special occasion with the amiable crew at Feast, and our recent birthday celebration was no exception. What was exceptional was the food and the service. I've had some tough times lately dining at restaurants that aren't adequately staffed but we had a wonderful meal (hubby had the flatiron steak, I had the duck) with great suggestions for wine pairing, an impressive array of cordials to try, and an utterly novel dessert, all just delicious. The service was attentive but relaxed. Doug (the chef) is a magician. Try this place, you'll be glad you did. read more

The food was okay.... Very interesting ingredients, but not the best. The price of appetizer was not reasonable with how little of portion it was. 3 thin slices of the zucchini chips?! A weird French toast underneath the sturgeon, in case the little portion of the sturgeon can't get you full?! We had three people with alcohol drinks the bill was around $42 per person, honestly, with that much money you can get better food at other places. Restaurants like Fox concept in the skyline or the restaurants in downtown (HUB, Proper...) can do better. Better decor, service, portion, price, and the most importantly, the FOOD! Btw the restaurant has older crowd. Not really a "feast" I would say.... read more

Hard to describe but always good and different. Back for brunch and it's mostly good. I had the cauliflower omelet with bacon on the side. The omelet is topped with fried artichoke hearts and they are delish as is the bacon. The egg and cauliflower part needs some help. It's just kinda bland and all they had to supplement was Tabasco, my least favorite hot sauce. I still love this place: nice staff, good service, gluten free options, easy parking, excellent wine selection, changing menu, I could go on. read more

I would give it no stars if I could. We are from out of town and made a reservation and they didn't even have our info. Super dead and after sitting there for 10min no one came to even talk to us! We had the Sonoran Restaurant Week special. We were oh so pleased. It included spinach artichoke dip which had a nice flavor and the pita chips were crispy and not greasy. We then had two "grilled cheese sandwiches". I put quotes around it because I thought it would be more grilled cheese forward. Instead it was a wonderfully balances sandwich which include eggplant, grilled onions and tomatoes along with the cheese. The bread was terrific and either homemade or from a local baker. For dessert we has a light and smooth panna cotta with walnut shortbread cookies that appeared to be homemade. What a great meal. I can't wait to have it again. read more

I took my friends for a birthday dinner and this place did not disappoint! Good atmosphere, great service, and the food and wine was delicious. We had the quail, duck and scallops - all outstanding! What an experience. This was a nervous process for me only because it was a work dinner that included my new boss who was coming into town with some other colleagues. I wanted to impress. I called Feast and they were extremely accommodating in finding us a reservation on the day we needed at a time that worked perfectly for our group of 6. They put together a table in the quieter back room that was lovely. The ambiance in the restaurant is perfectly warm, artsy, and beautiful without being pretentiously hipster. Their drink menu was stellarly impressive. Craft brews, wine list a mile long. Awesome. I had a chocolate porter, and several of my coworkers ordered wine...all of which was brought very quickly. My boss was starving and asked if it'd be possible to have a plate of bread & butter which they also accomodated quickly. We ordered "firsts" - and fresh ricotta with greens, croutons & anchovies (amazing), Hamhock/Shrimp Terrine (amazing!!), Lobster bread pudding (AMAZING!!). We each ordered a starter salad. They're great about offering you a "half-salad" (because they are entree sized), which we all did. I had the crispy duck salad. Delicious. Crispy, yet juicy duck, beautiful goat cheese, perfectly dressed greens. My coworker had the gnocci/pea/pesto salad which I thought was completely delicious as well...and I'm hard to impress with gnocchi because I love it so much. The entrees were beautiful, tasted amazing, and were just the right amount of food. I had seared scallops with uni, blood orange risotto...it was all I could not to lick the bowl. And the desserts. Let me stop to catch my breath. Because the deserts. o...m...g. I had the flourless chocolate cake, and a scoop of the ice cream of the day which was "Salt & Pepper vanilla". It was positively amazing. You got a smidge of heat from bite to bite, with the gorgeous mixing of sea salt and sweet cream. It was the most perfect thing I've eaten in a long time. The service was seamless. We were never waiting for anything. There was an entire team of people weaving in and out to take plates, bring plates, fill drinks. I never once felt like I was waiting on the waitstaff. They were simply fantastic. I honestly can't wait to come back. I love Feast. My boss loved Feast. Fantastico! *happy sigh* read more

This place has lots of good ideas, but the execution is just not quite there. I tried the vegetarian entree (interesting combo of savory madeleines, tempura-fried olives, red pepper coulis) and it was good but just not as good as it sounded. Same for the pan-roasted sablefish. Cocktails have interesting potential but somehow just didn't quite get there. I really wanted to love it! But for the price there are just better options out there. read more

I have been here many times. And never disappointed. But this time something went terribly wrong. The Curry Tart was almost inedible. Had a very strong spice in it that was overwhelming. Chicken was also borderline grotesque. Inedible pieces. Fish had absolutely no flavor at all as did the frittata. Just no flavor. The ravioli was severely undercooked. It had a crunch to it and flavorless. This has always been a go to place but I don't know what happened. read more

What a wonderful discovery. It is 5 solid stars all the way. Is it the very best food, no, but its close and no complaints - very nice. Service is amazing and never lets up. Had the Ribeye and again, it was not the best I ever had, but it was damn good. Wine list is unbelieveable. They have everything. Unique and good craft cocktails. The owner was on the floor, Doug, and very attentive. Good, very very good. The one and only thing I didn't get excited about was dessert - it was good, but not sweet. Not sweet enough. I'll be going back all the time - great spot! Thanks. CYA there next week! read more

I was in Tucson for one day on business, and being the designated foodie, I took my group here. I had pretty high expectations based on internet researching, and I was not disappointed. The location on a slightly run-down strip-mall-style thoroughfare was underwhelming, but that was left behind upon entering. I have a habit of trying the weirdest things I can find, so the skate wing on the menu called me. I imagine it's somewhat challenging to prepare well, but it was an outstanding texture and preparation. Service was attentive. Being from Colorado, I've come to expect beer to get equal billing as wine as a fine food pairing, and while Feast focuses more on the wine -- including having a little wine shop near the entrance -- they have many outstanding beer choices that match their food. read more

What an interesting spot. We are visiting from Seattle and researched the best spots to eat. This place seemed to be a top pick, even though there were quite a few random one star reviews. I figured that's fairly normal, so we went here for dinner. The space is funky. From the outside it looks like a...Idk, cheap chain restaurant? Inside is fine, nothing special. The service is fine. Not great, not bad. The food. Probably the most important part in my opinion we got three starters: yellowtail crudo - HORRIBLE. Had a yucky/weird taste, seemed like it was old or something? the fish was warm and dry. The dish had no depth. Prob the worst fish dish I've ever had. Squash blossoms - fine, whatever. Shrimp and grits - shrimp tasted chewy, flavors were meh. For the main course we had scallops, the walleye, and the fried chicken salad. Meh all around. Not bad, not great. We also had a bottle of wine. Total for dinner was $160 for 4 people, which is totally reasonable, but the food was extremely disappointing. Overall would not recommend and won't be back. Update: the owner responded to my post as you can see here. I have now lowered my score from 2 stars to 1 star. He seems to have an awfully defensive attitude, claiming that I "seem to like high end steak houses and Italian spots, which we are not either of those". LOL...yep, I enjoy that, but I enjoy a wide variety of other types of food as well. I was born and raised in New Orleans so I am used to a wide variety of fabulous cuisines, from acclaimed chefs...Oh, and he nearly crucified me for mistakingly saying the dish was shrimp and grits... my SINCERE apologies, doug! Shrimp and LEEKS! Anyways, There was no need for him to be snarky to me and his attitude furthers my disappointment in this spot. read more

I have never felt more appreciated by a staff. They are working their buns off (and making great buns and cookies and dinners!) to keep it going forward, and I am thrilled. I live close enough to get free delivery and I look forward to my weekly feast. I love love love Feast! They have been fantastic even during the pandemic. My beaux bought me Mother's Day dinner and brought it home. Hate to give a negative review but only a few in our party we're ok with their meal. First off the menu is very small. Many of us studied it for 30 min with 2 people not even ordereing. There are just way too many ingredients in each dish and I'm not talking just talking herbs. I cook a lot, enjoy getting adventurous but some of these marriages of flavors didn't make my mouth water. Two people had scallops and enjoyed them. A few had the fish sandwich only by default and there was something funky in it that I just didn't like plus it was a bit dry. My recommendation would be for less flavors and to always have a couple simple grilled steak, chicken and fish dishes and even a hamburger. Our server was very nice and her service was good. read more

Wednesday night dinner. Service was great. We ordered the soup of the day which was beef and pasta. Good flavor and plenty of meat and pasta. Next was the langoustine and cantaloupe salad. It was fresh and the cantaloupe was ripe. Nice dressing, not too much. We shared the honey beer Bundt cake with orange glaze. It was a nice end of dinner dessert, I thought the cake was a little crumbly and dry if not for the glaze. First time dining here and it had a nice atmosphere and food came out quickly which is great if you're going to the movies. read more

We were able to get a reservation on a Saturday night and were seated right when we arrived. Menu changes every month. We were offered the dinner special with shrimp, mashed cauliflower with cheese, artichoke hearts and roasted tomatoes. We ordered the special( split the plate charge was worth the 4.00, as more of the side dishes are included). For an appetizer we ordered a flatbread with roasted pears Gouda and arugula. All were different, tasty & delish. Only thing we would have changed was warmer cauliflower mash. For desert we ordered a beautiful piece of carrot cake with Gorgonzola. Interesting mix of flavors! We were checked in several times by the chef which was a really made us feel taken care of. Bathrooms were clean, well stocked and modern. Weird thing to mention, but I will ! the sink seemed old and unmatched to everything else. Glad we tried this place and we will be back! read more

Horrible food and horrible service. Apparently the server had some friends next to us. She bent over and chatted with them for several minutes, which positioned her rear end almost touching our tiny table for two. After a LONG wait, our food arrived. I had ordered a tart. The filling was horribly undercooked and still in the liquid phase, but the crust was rock hard and over cooked. We wanted to send it back, but she ignored us, never coming back to our table to ask if we liked the food. Our drinks were never refilled either. They acted like we were invisible.... until we got up to leave, after waiting for our check which never came until we stood up. We will NEVER RETURN. read more

We were immediately greeted and seated. The owner stopped at our table, greeted us, and asked if he could answer any questions. We observed him stopping and batting at every table and thanking everyone for coming in. Very customer focused. The menu is very different and unusual. Having said that, the ingredients greatly complement one another. We started with the crispy pork, served with a few arugula greens, melted cheese and some unusual cooked pear and grilled bread slices. The dish was very good, though very minimal crispy pork. I ate the chicken dish which had it served 4 very different ways. Sliced breast with cheese & spinach over cacciatore, leg confit over collard greens with bacon, deviled egg with sriracha and liver pate with roasted cauliflower which was very different but tasty. My husband had pork shoulder and kielbasa with crispy kale. He really enjoyed his dish. I also ordered oyster mushrooms with broccolini and sardines. Very yummy with the al dente broccolini and the richness of the oyster mushrooms. They have the largest selection of wines I've ever seen at a restaurant with a room filled with bottles of wine for purchase. read more

Highly anticipated. Seated promptly. A little put off by the fact that all the waitstaff were muzzled--long past the sell-by date for that bit of theater--made it difficult to understand the waitress. Decided to share the reuben sandwich and the beet salad. The horseradish chips on the beet salad were super! One of the beets was pretty crispy, but still tasty, the bits of chicken...meh. The Potato-mushroom-herb Fontina "quesadilla," was outstanding, highly recommended. That brings me to the reuben. In all my life I have never had a reuben sandwich where the corned beef has been fried, until this time...proving there is a reason I'd never had it before...it's a really, really bad idea! Compounded by the dearth of sauerkraut (it was more an homage to sauerkraut) and a slice of mystery cheese all on some really great swirl rye bread. The waitress explained that that's the way they do it and brought three really yummy chocolate cookies with the check. I doubt they're going to get a second visit based on the initial experience. read more

We love to eat at this secret gem off Speedway. The chef takes care to create consistent and creative cuisine (so many c's!) and his talent shows! I'd recommend a reservation as this place can get hopping. Their wine list is equally as impressive. They also have a small store within the restaurant that serves wine and liquors (often local). This is a higher priced restaurant, but we've come many times and feel it's worth the money. It's not unusual to be greeted at your table by the chef himself, which we always enjoy! read more

This restaurant has been pretty hit-or-miss for me. The service is great and folks are always friendly, but the food quality has been less consistent. Every time I've eaten at the restaurant it has been lovely, but my takeout orders have been questionable. Maybe it is just the seafood that is hit or miss...? But yesterday I ordered the shrimp flatbread to go and my first clue that it was a bad idea was that when I walked in the front door, the restaurant smelled like an aquarium! I couldn't eat the food when I got home because the smell of the shrimp was so pungent. I will continue to give this place more chances because the people are great, I've had good food there, and the location is so convenient for me, but this order (and another to go fish sandwich order that tasted like the fish was not very fresh) put a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). Probably won't be getting sea food here for a while though, at least not for lunch! read more

Excellent fresh, healthy food. Service is great, menu is excellent and eatery is clean and welcoming!

My boyfriend and I found this place while in Arizona visiting family. We stopped in to have lunch however when we walked in the place was almost empty but for two people at the bar. We were asked if we had a reservation when we said no the host and server both rolled their eyes and turned the heads up at us. When being seated we were put in the far corner where other guest could see us. After looking at there menu nothing looked appealing to me but my boyfriend found something he wanted to try. As we seat there we kept getting really odd stairs from the staff and the owner. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable at a restaurant in my life. We didn't stay to try the food but we did buy a bottle of olive oil that looked great ,when purchasing it the Owner ( blonde older woman who kept saying she was the owner) check the bill and then proceeded to walk all the way over to the bar and check the bill again and make a smart remark about you never know about these people and then come back and gives our change with a very snooty here you go. Please if your out of Towners don't go to this place they make You feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. If I could give no stars I would. Updated and answering 4/14/2019 First of all it was a blonde older woman going around saying she was the owner and I asked the host when we were leaving which she confirmed. So you might want to speak with your staff about pretending to be you when you were not there. The sever was an older short women with mousy brown hair. It was her and the older blonde women who kept starring at us and making me feel uncomfortable. One more thing with your reply to my review and the others who didn't like your restaurant don't attack us were are the customer and we keep your doors open. I work in the restaurant industry and I have learn to listen to my customer and let them explain and not try to them to see things my way. They are why your in business so I would watch how you respond. Your responses are not friendly or informative they rude just like the service I experienced in your restaurant. And this has just confirmed that I will never want to attempt to try your restaurant again. read more

Greeted very politely from the front desk. We already had a table reserved so we didn't have to wait for a table. Tables are fairly close together, I could hear the full conversation of the girls sitting next to us. The food was a little different than what I'm used to eating but still fairly good. For an Appetizer we got the "Lobster, Corn and Scallion Bread Pudding, served with Parmesan cream sauce", and it was delicious!! Almost didn't want to share any of it. :) For our main dish, I got the "Sous Vide Chicken Thighs, served over house made pappardelle with roasted tomato and olive sauce, and garnished with house made ricotta and fresh marjoram" and my boyfriend had the special which I can't remember what it was called but will insert pictures. But I did like my boyfriends plate a little more than mine so we traded half way through. Service was great and friendly, one of the chefs (I believe he was a chef) went around to every table asking how our food was and having conversations with everyone, I thought that was cool since that's never happened to any other restaurants I've been at. Only flaw was we did wait quite awhile to get our food, but wasn't TOO big of an issue. Overall a satisfying experience. A little pricey but I think it's worth the money. And they do change the menu every month which is pretty cool. read more

I had never been to this place and my boss took me for a birthday lunch! The decor is nice and they have a little wine store inside for lack of a better description. The menu was interesting and I was told revolving. I like that! I had the special which was this chicken sandwich served with greens. The chicken was grilled perfectly and juicy. The bread roll it was served on was sooo good and it was almost like a play on a gyro but with chicken, a white sauce that seemed similar to Tzaziki sauce, red onion, romaine lettuce and tomato. Sooo good and light! My fellow diners had soup and salad. We also shared the pumpkin chocolate tart and chocolate malt ice cream made in house! The tart was good but the ice cream was simply scrumptious! Creamy and chocolatey! the special and other details! I enjoyed everything! Tip-if you have food allergies be sure to check the menu ahead and ask what is in everything or you might be surprised. We had a friendly waitress but she didn't point out little details, like the soup is spicy, etc. She was nice but maybe new as she didn't know the menu particularly well. read more

There were four people in our party. We each ordered different entrees. We were not impressed with any of the dishes. The combination of flavors were unique, but were too exotic for our palette. Sauces were runny, meats were fatty and the sides were dry. We were disappointed especially for the price. On the bright side, the drinks were excellent! read more

Feast exceeded my expectations. From the creative food cooked with care to the ambience and service, and the price, our visit was a real treat. The dining room is elegantly decorated with well-spaced tables, gorgeous artwork, and a comfortable sound level for having a conversation with friends. The fried squash blossoms with ricotta were delicate crisp and not greasy, a little salt and perfect amount of honey/sauce to pique the palate. Salad greens were fresh and not over dressed. The potato blini a creamy compliment to the steak. (I think we were missing the tempura but we didn't even notice at the time, it was so good) The gooseberries on the ravioli were just bursting hot but not yet puckered. They gave us a mesquite chocolate cookie to take home as they were out of the small truffle cookies, and omg! I'm not a big cookie person, but the textures and flavors of the mesquite cookie are superb. It's an impressive cookie! Their crown is their wine list- deep, unique, varied, and extremely well priced. I would love to try one of their creative cocktails, but it would be a crime to not choose a bottle of wine with your meal here. I do wish they had later hours (as with most of Tucson). But this one is so special that I'll gladly plan for an early dinner. Their latest seatings (8 pm) were well cared for and not at all rushed. Did I mention that the service and ambience was so, so comfortable and kind? Just lovely. Thank you, Feast, for a special meal! read more
