I took my wife for Mother's Day. I am told that they are usually not open on Sunday. I am glad they were and glad we went. The service was very attentive, and staff quick to get refills, spoons, sauces, etc. our order was as usual, "customer modified", which makes us somewhat difficult to please. The restaurant met our every need. Food is fantastic both from a quality as well as uniqueness standpoint. Ambiance is not crowded nor noisy. Great place which is now amongst our favorites read more

I went to Feast last night and had the skirt steak. it was incredibly salty. I couldn't eat much of it. We got an appetizer that was ok but nothing great. The waiter never asked how we liked our food. The bill was very expensive and I didn't enjoy anything I ate. I would never go back. read more

this was an absolutely terrible dining experience. i went with a friend last night. got two glasses of red that were corked. the tuna tartare just tasted like tuna covered in kewpie mayo. i got the duck entree which was.... awful. the duck was extremely tough and impossible to chew through, and unseasoned. my friend got the lamb neck that was completely unseasoned as well, with lumpy grits that were also... unseasoned. her dish had these pickled mushrooms that were awful, soft slimy spongey and when you bit into it your mouth was filled with white vinegar ? we got a braised leek salad on the side that was completely over dressed and some of the leeks turned bitter from being over cooked, we were starving and ate some of that because overdressed is better than bland we had our plates taken and i spoke to the person clearing our table about the food and they called the manager over. when the manager came i explained to her the food was not good and we didnt eat it. mind you, i havent done this at restaurants before. i usually dont complain, even if the food is bad. i didnt eat any of it, neither did my friend and i did not want to pay for food i didnt eat. the manager was extremely rude, continually telling us "this is not how we do things" and that she "cant do anything now" she reiterated over and over that our timing for when we told her the food was bad was "not how things are done in restaurants" she said "everyone else enjoyed their food" which wasnt true, we overheard the people next to us talking about how they did not like the food and felt too bad about saying something. at around $35 per entree and the food was inedible. we sent back full plates of food. if the food was just undersalted, overcooked or undercooked or had something fixable about it, it would have been something we could give note on. not one dish was enjoyable, not even the wine. i deeply regret not getting up and leaving at that point. i should have NOT paid for the mayo tuna and the corked wine and bitter salad $70 down the drain. then being talked down to over and over about our timing for informing her about the food. response to the owner: this was our first time trying your restaurant. the corked wine and tuna tartare were our starters, we ate it 1. because we were hungry and it was food in front of us 2. because we hoped that the rest of the meal would actually carry some weight. i paid for the food i actually ate, regardless of it being good. this is a review and people have every right to talk about what they liked and didnt like. this is how reviews work. i dont have to post my drivers license or social security to post this review. i also dont have to spend my night eating more and more terrible food to recoup the fundamental lack of skill or taste in the kitchen. having two pieces of the duck doesnt count as eating the meal, and this implication of wanting to get out of paying for some meal i enjoyed is absolutely absurd. that meal was absolutely terrible. we didnt bother asking for anything else because every course at that point was awful, and between being lectured, we truly did not have faith that you knew how to prepare food that is enjoyable. we were offered another entree to replace it but after biting into a pickled mushroom that was soft slimey and filled your mouth with white vinegar, we decided to go to Tito and Pep up the street where we had an actually flavorful, memorable meal. nobody demanded to see anyone. i politely told the person clearing our full plates that i didnt know how to go about this but since we did not eat the meal, we'd like to talk to someone about the food. i also mentioned i have never sent food back at a restaurant before, this was a first for me. with it being a fine dining restaurant, i unfortunately expect the food to be edible and pleasurable. i expect the staff to not lecture me or argue with a google review, as it seems you do with anyone who has left a slightly negative review for you. going through all the reviews ive left is creepy and bizarre. please focus that energy on creating a menu and dishes that are not inedible. also your food sucks. read more

We had brunch today with out-of-town foodies. Every order was perfectly prepared and presented as art. Scrumptious food and fine service from the moment we walked through the door and as we departed. We enjoyed the brunch house made sausage(beyond comparisons), yummy shrimp and octopus salad, delightful eggs Benedict (Canadian bacon that is traditional and out-of-this world lobster alternative) and the lobster won the match. I appreciated that it was quiet; not noisy, we could hear each other and we were not crammed up too close to anyone in the restaurant. read more

Not great considering the cost. Chicken was dry. Gnocchi wasn't very good. Service and ambience were very good though.

I absolutely love the fact the chef is out there on the floor... He's answering questions, running food... He was great, someone who clearly takes great pride in his product and wants to make sure everyone is happy... Went in a group of 30 somethings and kids, omg, 3 kids... The server clearly didn't want to deal with us... It's very frustrating. I've grown up in the service industry, I like to think I try my hardest not to be a difficult guest, even if service is that bad... I've always had a baby face... So ppls first expectations are I won't tip well and then give awful service... Granted, I'm assuming that was the issue, maybe she just wasn't a great server... But the vibe seemed pretty clear she didn't want to deal with us. And in my professional opinion, I do not think we were difficult at all... And they have an automatic 20% gratuity for large parties and split checks, so maybe she just knew she didn't have to give us good service, idk. But 20% wasn't deserved... I am picky. I did not want to eat here, nothing really appealed to me on the October menu, but the reviews were good on Yelp and from other friends, decided to just try new things. Thankfully!! They had a filet on special with a pepper sauce that was amazing. Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. Responding to other reviews on prices... I think the prices were extremely reasonable! Drinks were not $15+, I believe all entrees were under $30, including my filet! If you expect Applebee's prices, you should go to Applebee's, you're paying for quality food for a very reasonable price! Good place, I'd recommend... Probably will check the menu regularly and look for something more "amazing" for my tastes to come back, but I will be looking... read more

Over my years living in Tucson one thing that has remained true. I can expect an outstanding dining experience at feast. In an effort to not delay potential readers of this review from getting to feast This review will be an exercise in brevity. The chef is inspired. The staff well trained, attentive, not overbearing. The wine list is hand picked and exclusive. Do yourself a favor and eat at feast. read more

I visited Feast during Sonoran Restaurant Week which offered a three course meal for $35 per person. For the first first course I shared the pear flatbread and cucumber-shiitake salad. The flatbread was the breadwinner (pun intended) for its smoky yet sweet flavor from the pears and arugula. The next course featured red curry custard and raised pork and sweet potato gnocchi. The pork and gnocchi were delightful with house-made ricotta in a slightly bitter cherry sauce reduction. The menu saved the best for last - dessert! You couldn't go wrong with the coffee-cardamom chocolate bar or the gorgonzola carrot cake. The dark chocolate and apricot infused honey were the highlights of each respective dessert. The head chief was friendly and made it a point to visit each table. And his wait staff was very attentive and eager. read more

I wanted to like this place, but overall ok. Came here for dinner. Service was good. Not sure what the other reviews were complaining about. The manager made sure to welcome us and the server was attentive. For appetizers we got the latter bread pudding which was pretty good. The lobster lumps weren't that big but the flavor was good. The seafood showers were a mixed bag. Didn't care much for the potato shot. The yellowtail and shrimp shots were good. Next, the person pushing with foie gras was decent. The person taste was different, foie gras made it better. Entree wise I got the same fish which was my favorite dish. Flavorful, flaky, though a little heavy on the oil. The greens underneath were tasty too. The scallops entree was ok, a little undercooked but good portions. The udon entree was nice and savory. The pork in it was fairly tender. In regards to drinks, I got the Pimms cup. Sadly, the balance was off in this cocktail. There is another reviewer week was confused about this cocktail. Please disregard that as she doesn't know the history of this cocktail. Despite the history of many Pimms, Pimms No. 1 is the only one you'll see. Nevertheless, the drink was too sweet, the ice cubes were regular bar ice cubes that melted quickly and grossly diluted the drink to nothing meaningful. Bottom line, this isn't the place for cocktails. Get the wine, there is an extensive collection. Anyways, overall decent, nothing mind blowing. It will be interesting to see how the menu changes with each month. 3.5/5 read more

My wife had dinner last at at Feast. It was excellant. After suffering through too many mediocre restaurants. it was great to have food prepared by a true Chef, rather then a cook. I had their lamb dish while my wife had their special which was a steak. Every thing was flavorful and complimentary. read more

So darn good!! Innovative creative and yummy, I will be back again and again! So good!

Still love Feast! Yes, the food is superb, seasonal, and innovative. In addition - need a wine recommendation? They will go above and beyond to help you. Incredibly informative and clearly passionate about sharing knowledge. So grateful to Chef Doug for taking the time to offer up several options to pair with our dinner. We selected one for dinner... and then took 'em all home. Can't wait to 'investigate' further at home. read more

Quite underwhelmed tonight, unfortunately. Each dish sounded spectacular on the menu but sadly was not up to previous visits by a long shot: Cauliflower-carrot fritters w/cider vinegar sauce, pine nuts, raisins. Tasty, albeit greasy, small. Best item overall. Lobster bread pudding with parm cream sauce. Moist, pretty, and bland. Gougère sliders w/ braised beef cheek... Hardly horseradish, beef fairly greasy, just not exciting! Marinated quail with pipián sauce... Very good, tender, perhaps not pipian enough? Grilled beef salad~ grilled skirt steak... Beef tough and flavorless. Again looked nice, but uninteresting. Asparagus-leek tartlettes... Looked lovely. Pastry soggy w asparagus juice diluted cream, again, bland, disappointing. Sweet pepper oil? Carrots good! Barramundi w/spicy broad bean paste... Bok choy boring, fish, spicy but not in any way outstanding, rice was rice. Meh. Lamb neck, very anise-y and very fatty. yuk lots of waste. Tender but would not order again. Beef tenderloin w butternut risotto. Tenderloin was great but undercooked, will eat tomorrow. Mushroom and rocket side was too salty, as was gravy. Risotto, creamy but nothing unusual. Desserts were most disappointing, thanks for taking them off the bill. Panna cotta was saffron scented and colored, nothing more. Napoleon w/blackberry gelée, chestnut mousse, choc ganache on puff pastry was unappetizing, looked more like a po-boy with greyish filling. Taste was again, just bland. Sad to be writing all this, but we had out-of-town guests, and were very excited to experience something truly special as we have had the pleasure more than several times before. read more

Feast does the catering for my office when we host trainings, and everything I've sampled from that has been delicious. I had never been here for dinner until I came with my boyfriend for a dinner with his coworkers. We were in the party room with a limited menu. They had crab-cake and stuffed-mushroom appetizers and had preselected a red and white wine for the group. The appetizers were delicious, and the red, which I believe was a cab, was decent. The servers were really accommodating and on their game. They were not at all intrusive. From the preset three-course menu, I chose a celery root soup, the short ribs, and a flan. My boyfriend had the salad, salmon, and flourless chocolate cake. The soup was great, and I think my boyfriend was disappointed he went with the salad instead! My short ribs were pull-apart tender and juicy and the portion was very large. My boyfriend liked his salmon. I think the flan left something to be desired, but the cake was excellent, especially with the fresh berries that accompanied it. I would consider this a higher-end restaurant, for sure, and maybe a bit much for my tastes, but it is a great choice for a special occasion or a nice date night. They seem to really care about the guest experience. I'd love to return and try some other things on the menu and some of their cocktails. They seemed to have a decent beer selection as well. read more

Food was very good! The chef actually came out to ask us how we liked our dinner. The menu changes frequently and is very fresh. Service was good also. But after 6pm they want you to have a reservation, so be prepared for that. Atmosphere was great.. read more

The ambiance is really pleasant. The hostess was particularly friendly. Not only did she seat me promptly, but she walked around periodically with water and to check up on how the meal was going. I had the gnocchi which was very tasty. Everyone else's meals looked beautiful. You can tell the chef really takes pride in his work. So why only 4 stars? I did think it was a little over priced at $17 for a plate of gnocchi, and it goes up from there. I'm not sure I'd go back, but it was a really pleasant experience. read more

Feast is an amazing restaurant and a fabulous caterer! Restaurant: Warm ambience and a friendly staff always go a long way with me. They had ample supplies of both and AMAZING food. The menu changes often so be sure to sign up for the newsletter so you don't miss any of the new menu items. The happy hour wine list is short, but you get a tasty bite to pair with the wine. Catering: We were so lucky to have worked with Feast for our wedding. The event staff were phenomenal leading up to the event. The day of the wedding the staff went out of their way to bring us anything we wanted or needed and made sure we were well fed and happy. We had many compliments on the food - in particular the calabacitas were a massive hit! read more

The Sonoran Restaurant Week $30-for-two special was a great introduction to Feast! We called around 5:10 on a Saturday evening and were told the soonest we could pick up would be 6:30. This worked fine for us, but keep that in mind if you're looking for a fast take-out option. Compared to other dips I've tried, the spinach and artichoke dip had a really interesting flavor--not sure if it was feta or Gorgonzola maybe?--but we enjoyed it. The pita chips were nice and crunchy. The main course is two grilled cheese sandwiches served with mixed greens. I wish there were a bit more mixed greens provided, but good flavor on the vinaigrette. The grilled cheese was delicious. Love the combination of salty halloumi with sweet eggplant, tomatoes, and red onion. The bread was tasty, too. It's not a typical grilled cheese because of the halloumi, but it sure is a tasty sandwich. The espresso panna cotta was a fantastic finale for this feast. Nice flavor and light texture, paired with walnut cookies. I've never had anything else quite like it! I definitely recommend checking out this meal. read more

Amazing evening tonight at Callaghan Vineyards with food by Feast. Delicious 5 course menu with wine pairings. Highly recommend this event!

Was looking for something different and with vegetarian options for my daughter. We started with the squash blossoms which were delicious, delicate breading, melded flavors. My daughter had the grilled cheese. This is the daughter speaking, sandwich was fire. Super scrumptious. The Dover sole was incredible and we followed it all with roasted strawberry ice cream. I look forward to coming here again! read more

We had a really good lunch here. Grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. And my husband had the special- a steak sandwich. I will be back!

Flawless food, service and atmosphere. We were seated promptly. The wine book is immense so it was not only delightful, but also useful to speak with a sommelier. I had salmon; my partner had duck. They were sumptuous. The Pinot Noir paired wonderfully well with both. The waiter appeared at just the right intervals. Dessert was delicious and adventurous. The warm room was filled with laughter. I recommend Feast highly! read more

Best meal of my trip to Arizona. When I'm traveling alone, I love sitting at the bar and talking to my neighbors or bartenders, and the night I went I got to chat with the owner. He sold me on the duck, and it was the most satisfying meal I've had on a long time. Perfectly cooked, crispy skin, lovely polenta and greens, and just the right portion size (which is important for travel when you don't want to bring home a huge leftover box). It was the kind of meal I was sad to see end. I finished with the chocolate tahini cake and chocolate sorbet - delicious and oh so chocolatey. If I'm ever back in Tucson, I'll definitely be coming back to Feast. read more

I had another great dinner at Feast last night. I always ask Corey for a recommendation on wine, and he recommended an excellent bottle of Italian Vermentino. I love duck, and rarely cook it, so I chose the Duck Duck Goose entree. It was delicious.. 3 perfectly sized portions of duck, duck and goose. The plate was beautiful, and each portion was unique. My friend had the Kanpachi and gave it two thumbs up... We finished with the carrot cake dessert. As always, the service was excellent, and we had a wonderful corner table. For me, Feast is the BEST restaurant in Tucson. Doug Levy, the owner and chef changes the menu every month and I've never been disappointed. read more

Feast has delicious food, beautiful caring people all with huge caring hearts. They deliver food around the city and take food to front line workers in hospitals. To support them in this time is also to support their work to people in the hospitals who are taking care of our loved ones. The food... Can you imagine the flavors when you first put lobster bread pudding in your mouth that transported me out of my "safe place" into a world where my feet dangle in the water. Chard sweet potatoes that make me wonder why all I've ever done is roast them. Salad so fresh you think you've jjust picked them out of your garden. Each dish comes with its own unique touch. Feast is a bundle of mouth watering, mouth tingling flavors. Feast is a restaurant with a heart so big they donate meals to the people in hospitals on the front line. Feast is a great place. Feast is our special occasion restaurant, but due to COVID-19 restrictions we were not able to celebrate my wife's birthday there as usual. Luckily I discovered they were extending their delivery up to Oro Valley, so we ordered for delivery. Beef Bourgenon (sp?) was to die for, as was the wife's Crawfish Ettouffe. Side of Asparagus and individual chocolate cake finished the meal. Quality was everything we remembered, and delivery was within a few minutes of the promised time. TIP: I was not happy with the results of reheating it our microwave so in the future we will order cryo-sealed and reheat in boiling water. read more
