Fatima's Grill is our go-to spot after shopping at the Citadel outlet! My husband and I LOVE their unique blend of Lebanese and Mexican dishes. The flavors blend so well together, I can't imagine they have a dish that won't make you salivate. There is something for everyone to try: fries, crunch wraps, tacos, salads, burgers.. etc. I ordered their Chicken Kebab Salad. This bowl was packed with fresh, pickled veggies and grilled chicken. I got my probiotics and protein! The salad also came with sumac and a side of toum. The sweet and sour profile from the Sumac really brightened the dish. You can't go wrong with toum, it goes well with everything, let's be honest lol! The service was great, we were greeted upon arrival. I came here with my husband and his cousin. After we placed our orders on a kiosk, we were told our food would take a bit of time to prepare as there were orders ahead of ours they were fulfilling. The interior reminded me of a liquor store. They have art and a few memorabilia covering every part of their walls. They sell snacks and candy at their counter; you could also get ice cream from their freezer. There are televisions with closed captioning. They put on the soccer game while we were there, it was a nice vibe! It's only been a week since our last visit, and I'm already wanting to go back again. If you haven't been here yet, please try it. You won't be disappointed!
Fatima's Grill is 1 of 1! Had to show them some love again and update my review. We have been only a handful of times over the years, but I feel like we need to come here more often. EVERY time we come by we leave here impressed and completely in awe of their food! Lines can get long and food takes time to complete, but staff is always transparent able wait times. We came by on 4th of July after a night of shopping at the outlets with our family. It wasn't too busy on this day. The ambiance is always changing and up to date. LA Lakers poster, Kobe posters and now decked out with flags for the FIFA. This visit, my wife ordered one of the Chicken Kabob Salad, my cousin one of the burritos, and myself the Double Decker Crunch Wrap. They have a kiosk now to order as well as an app for rewards. The prices range from $16-$20+, but believe me its so worth it. The portions are MASSIVE and are good for leftovers and food for the rest of the day or til tomorrow. The crunch wrap was 10/10!. Every bite better of that crunch wrap was mouthwatering. Fatima's Grill is one of those places that is popular on social media and a very hyped place, but for ME they never miss and always deliver. One of those IYKYK type of restaurants and should be tried at least one time. The best place to eat in Downey, IMO! LFG, Fatima's Grill!! ( ^_^)b
We ordered this for take out since there was a promotion for a BOGO. Otherwise it is roughly $20 for a plate of 4 tacos with rice and beans. I had ordered the carne asada plate. The pickled onion on top was a little too acidic for me, did not work well with the meat as it was savory and did not compliment well. After removing the onion it does taste great on its own, but the star is the unique sauce they provide with it. It is a tangy orange that packs a lot of heat - unfortunately I sweat easy, but it was so addictive that I ended up eating all the sauce, no regrats! If they did not have the BOGO deal, I probably wouldn't go for these again, but that sauce... Maybe.
Good little spot doing unique food. Tried a variety of chicken shawarma, falafel, asada fries, tacos. All were flavorful and tasty.
Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 I drove all the way from Glendale to check this place out to see if it was a hype or actually worth the hype and let me tell you WORTH THE DRIVE WORTH THE MONEY definitely coming back to try some more items on the menu. Make sure you come with a few people so everyone can get something different and you can share because the portions are huge. My chicken shawarma plate was like an explosion because every bite you just taste savory chicken with the most fire rice and you get 2 pita breads so you can make yourself nice little bites with salad and hummus and the sauces it comes with are just mouthwatering. The hot Cheeto burrito with the nacho cheese omgoshhhh there is no way you're going to take a bite and have something not to like about it. The overall service and my dine in experience was immaculate, we were greeted by the owner Ali who was running around getting everything done and at the same time the smile never faded away from his face he makes you feel so welcome that you actually want to sit and dine in because it's such a cozy vibe. If you have room left after all this deliciousness make sure you grab some of the best Fresca I've had, next time for sure trying some dessert. 1000/10 experience. Thank you! See you very soon. After all of the reviews I was so excited to try this place. I was craving a quesadilla and ordered through ubereats. The steak in my quesadilla was inedible, every bite had steak that was gristle and fat. Literally from the first bite, I had to spit out every bite due to the meat being so tough inedible and it wouldn't breakdown. It was just pieces of fat and gristle. By my third piece of my quesadilla I just had to throw it all away. It was literally inedible, I wasn't hungry anymore, not because I was full, but because I was disgusted. I was left with hands soaked in grease, Oh and the brown lime they gave me another bad touch. Maybe they had an off night, but first impressions matter. I absolutely will not try again.
The 3 meat platter was really good. Loved the rice too. Fish tacos were good; comes with thicker tortilla. I love all the fun ice cream options like the viral fruit shaped ones, fried chicken shaped, and meat looking ones, sad I didn't get to try but I did get their cinnamon cheesecake and it was delicious. Tons of drink options in the fridge too. Liza was at the counter and she was so friendly and helpful at explaining the menu items we asked about. Love the decor and neon signs inside.
Fatima's grill was awesome. Don't be fooled this is a Lebanese / Mexican fusion, extremely unique. They have lots of options, treats and drinks throughout the store. My friends and I ordered the shawarma fries, Cali burrito, and the garlic shrimp fries. All of these were very good but I highly recommend the Cali burrito. Very common dish but Fatima's grill knocks it out of the park somehow. Idk how but he did. The shawarma fries also packs a lot of flavor and highly recommend. The GS fries were good but wish I got a little more shrimp. This place is not the cheapest but definitely get your money's worth in quantity and quality.
The tacos were not bad, wish the meat was a little more tender. The sauces are really good. The lebamex sauce is pretty spicy for me but very addictive. The green sauce was more mild. The refried beans were very tasty. The rice wasn't as flavorful, but still pretty decent. I ordered for pick up and it was ready when I arrived. Pick up was smooth, there wasn't a lot of people inside the restaurant. The decorations are pretty neat. Overall, great food and value. Would come again.
Driving from out of town, I ordered food on Fatima's website. I received a text that my food was ready for pickup, but when I arrived there was a sign that said closed. I tried talking to the person inside, but they rudely shouted "we're closed." I explained that I had ordered through the website, but he said it didn't matter. I asked for a refund because I couldn't wait until they reopened, and he refused. It wasn't until I raised my voice that he said he cancelled my order and that I'd get my refund in a week. Horrible customer service. Management needs to take this opportunity to retrain the staff. Update: The owner reached out to me, acknowledged what happened, and made sure everything was taken care of. It's clear he genuinely cares about the customers. I appreciate the quick response and the effort to make it right.
10/10 customer service and food Restaurant is a little small and they're always busy so you might have to wait a little for a table to be available, BUT ITS WORTH THE WAIT!!!

The founder of Fatima's grill Ali Elreda is amazing and wonderful. First time visiting Fatima's Grill and I can already say that this place is amazing. The great atmosphere, aesthetics of Halloween and how it all ties down with the food and services it has. The service is fast and amazing with how to order from the tablet or to actually ordering at the counter. They pay attention to detail when it comes to ordering your food to bring out your food to your table. They all sorts of varieties when it comes to the drinks food and even the treats. They greet you with a smile when you order at the counter and make you feel super welcome and greet you with at smile. I would highly recommend them to come out here and check it out. Just bring your appetite with you. Thanks again for the amazing food and also the amazing three free tacos they still blessed us with even coming a few minutes late. Heard a lot about this place. TBH IMO it was overhyped, packed and the cashier paid no mind to us at all. When she finally did tend to us, she acted as if we were burdening her. We called shortly after leaving to ask a question regarding one of the ingredients in my husbands meal (they were too busy with customers at the time for us to ask while there) and the same attitude they had in the restaurant was multiplied on the phone. Not sure if the employees are overworked, understaffed, underpaid or all the above but they definitely showed that they either didn't want to be there or just hate their jobs overall. The aesthetic however was nice. Loved all the decor on the walls/counters but the food was mid if not average. Don't think we'll ever be returning. read more

Came here with a coworker for lunch after glancing at their Yelp. Great reviews assured me I was in for a treat. Absolutely fantastic service. I think the owner was running the restaurant and was so helpful in explaining the menu and food. Very hospitable. I ordered the Birria Crunchwrap (like Taco Bell's but sooo much better). My friend ordered the Flaming Hot Nacho Fries (I think that's what they're called). Servings are massive and my Crunchwrap was loaded with beef Birria. Paired perfectly with the sauce they provide you, a sheet of lemon and the added Lebanese hot sauce from the table. The consume was seasoned well and the whole meal made my tummy happy. My friend's fries were delicious too! Meat was tender and they do not skimp on the toppings. I've already told my coworkers about this place and I know I'll be back to try more of the menu. I definitely want to try some of the Mediterranean/ Lebanese options. read more

Just another favorable testament as to the service and courteousness of the staff. Liza helped me today. Passingly told her of breaking my fast so ai was only ordering a bean rice and cheese burrito with a salad. Added tomato onion and cilantro for a fresher bite. Ai wanted hummus to spread on it as opposed to anything else. She was like Uiuuuuughh...Lol. But for me it made for an even better more lighter and replenishing bite being ai had just broken fast. I've been interested in trying this place due to it being nearby and also having some vegan options (mainly falafel). I decided to come due to a TMobile dining deal finally and I was so glad I did. The parking lot is free but very small. The place has a cool vibe to it with sports TVs, lots of artwork, and easy to order at the register or via a tablet. Apparently Fatima's Grill also has their own hot sauce that is on the tables. They were tasty. This joint is a Lebanese Mexican fusion and I got some falafel taco and a falafel burrito. Both were hearty, filling, delicious. I also love that the burrito and tacos came with garlic sauce! Yum! There are tables inside for small groups. The space isn't really conducive to big parties but there was plenty of seating when I went in during a weekday lunch. read more

Ali's Lebanese Mexican fusion eatery in Downey, CA is a must-visit spot for anyone with a big appetite! With huge portions, great quality food, and Ali's infamous hot sauce adding that extra kick, it's no wonder it's a favorite among locals. Ali and his staff's welcoming hospitality make the experience even better. The vibe is fun with arcade games. Chicken Tiki (Fusion) burrito = Excellent. The marination of the chicken was perfect--chicken was so flavorful, not to mention tender. & the white NYC sauce added on to the amalgamation of good Mediterannean flavors! Large, generous and great quality meat and ingredients--burritos were packed with rice, french fries, white sauce and other yummy ingredients. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. This place is a Gem!!! Stop scrolling, just go. It's THAT GOOD. Endless options, and it's Hala!!!! We absolutely went in, lol! Just us two, and we ordered for a small family of four. I love eating with you. Items ordered : Asada crunch wrap 10/10 (messy and so worth it) Queso birria tacos 10/10 Shrimp Tacos 10/10 Kabob combo plate 10/10 Everything was perfectly made, as pictured. The staff was friendly and excellent. There was a boxing match happening when we stopped in, and since they were showing it, we decided to dine in. I always been coming here and showing love to Ali. He is a great owner. He's been making really good meals, overall for everything they do here it's amazing. The staff is great. Their environment is amazing. Such an amazing experience every one was super friendly and the service was 10/10!! Sadly we dug in and forgot to take pictures of the food (Cali burrito w/ Hot Cheetos, the Habibi Plate & the QuesaBirria Plate) but every thing was delicious! We are most definitely coming back again to try different items They have such a wide variety of food we even bought some sweets Big thanks to the owner (Ali) and the staff (Miguel & Latifa). I've been here a few times yet I guess I haven't left a review, long due. I had the Triple Threat Burrito, added the Chile Relleno and Hot Cheetos, it also came with a few chips. Let me tell you it was FIRE and freakin HUGE, no exaggeration! The flavors were great! I love how the Hot Cheetos were layered on top of the burrito and didn't fall all over the place and inside the burrito also, they don't hold back. The sauces on the side are also good, can't go wrong. I was disappointed with the Tamarindo drink, maybe it was the brand. I love Tamarindo and that drink just didn't hit as I was expecting and left a weird taste so I won't be having it again. What I do appreciate is the food culture here, soooo gooood! Jose was extremely helpful, gave great suggestions, he even checked on us after our order came out and was relatable. He even warned me about the burrito being bigger than a regular burrito size, LOL. It a cool little place with some "memorabilia ", pics, sayings and tv on the walls. Inside seating only. It would be great for the place to expand. Would definitely recommend, try it out. read more
