I don't even like swordfish but the blackened swordfish special completely changed my mind. They have different specials every day and I don't think you can really go wrong with anything on the menu. Noted the flavors were good, but next time would order bechamel sauce on side so there was more control of it not overwhelming the fresh protein with every initial bite. Mentioned the Roasted Potatoes and Corn that accompanied it were nicely cooked and not overly seasoned. Personally opted to double down on the crab side of things and snagged myself one of their Crab cake sandwiches on a pretzel roll. With each bite you knew the crab cake was freshly made not a frozen premade puck. It easily smashed down quickly with each bite, with good fresh crab flavor, not just breadcrumbs, like you might experience elsewhere ;) Also noted their pretzel bun was soft, airy with good classic pretzel flavor without the hard/tough exterior crunch. Noting that in the past I have also ordered up their fresh Tuna Steak entrée which is also a delicious entrée option. Finished off the meal with a menu fan favorite Chocolate Lava Cake, as my Mr is always hoping for it to truly lava out. We made our OpenTable reservation a week in advance and noted that we'd have our 5-lb Yorkie, requesting outside seating if possible because we weren't sure where dogs were permitted. We weren't being picky and understood it was Labor Day weekend. When we arrived, the hostess explained that our reserved table was inside, so we'd need to wait for a dog-friendly table. When the same woman walked by, he mentioned the missing sauce. Instead of apologizing, she said, "Yeah, that can come out later." A $9 sauce ordered for a steak should arrive WITH the steak. He told her he no longer wanted it. She said okay but apparently never communicated that, due to being too busy chatting standing around with others. Expecting our complete meal to arrive together and expecting to be treated respectfully are not unreasonable expectations. Yes, customers should be responsible for their pets, and we would have immediately addressed the situation had we noticed. But these are outdoor tables and chairs exposed to birds, squirrels and other animals. The hostile reaction to a five-pound dog briefly lifting his leg was unnecessary. There is a right and wrong way to address an issue. Speak to your customers like human beings.
