I had the best bratwurst I've had in a long time. It was cooked perfectly, and the bread it was served on was a 10/10. It was a soft bun, but almost more like a slice of bread -- different, but absolutely fantastic. Add the sauerkraut and mustard, and the flavors came together perfectly. I paired it with a non-alcoholic beer, which was also great. The location couldn't be better if you're headed to a University of Texas at Austin football game or an event at the Moody Center. It's right across from both, making it a perfect pre-game or pre-concert spot. Outdoor patio was great to sit and relax as well. Definitely coming back -- the food alone is worth it!

It's really cool at those times, although the amount of people during game day can be overwhelming. I've been a number of times over the years. The food has always been okay, not great. This last time, I ordered the pastrami sandwich, no aioli. The sandwich came dry. Thankfully I had asked for some mustard for my waffle fries. It was supposed to be on a brioche bun, or maybe I mistook the two pieces of white bread I got as something less than they were. It's supposed to have brie on it, and maybe the heat evaporated it all into the pastrami? The house made pastrami itself was very good. My daughter had the green chile and cheddar sausage and commented that the bun was pretty much a piece of Texas toast. We did have an excellent pretzel and the green goddess salad was capable of being split among three of us. These things make me think I just picked the wrong thing.
