Tart Cherry Crumb, Key Lime Sweet Texas Pecan - The image shows three small, handcrafted pies and a cupcake, each in individual clear plastic containers, placed on a white surface. The pies include a fruit pie with a crumbled topping, a pecan pie with a flaky crust, and a cupcake with white frosting and a decorative swirl. A menu or informational sheet is partially visible at the bottom of the image, indicating a bakery or pie shop setting.

Grabbed dessert at this cute pie store after dinner last night. They got good reviews so why not! I loved the vintage artwork outside of the store which grabbed my attention. It was cozy inside which was great because it was cold outside. We ordered a tart cherry crumb, key lime and Texan pecan pie. The pies were small and cute and great good flavor. They were $6.95 each which is a little steep for me. The service was good. The girl behind the counter was cheerful and nice. Oh their bathroom was clean.

I stopped by Tiny Pies recently and it reminded me why I loved it so much the first time I tried it years ago. It had been a while, so I grabbed a few different flavors to get a little taste of everything. Honestly, every single one was good. My favorites were definitely the key lime and the strawberry base pies. The strawberry one tasted so fresh, like real strawberries instead of that overly sweet artificial flavor you sometimes get. The key lime had the perfect balance of tart and sweet and was super refreshing. The best part is how fun they are to eat since they're tiny. You get the satisfaction of a whole pie but without feeling too guilty about it afterwards. It's the perfect little treat if you want dessert but don't want something huge. Tiny Pies never disappoints!!

Banana Pudding Tiny Pie (~$6) - A hand is holding a small cupcake in a clear plastic container, topped with cream and a cookie. The background features a blurred menu with the words 'BANANA PUDDING' visible, indicating a dessert-focused setting. The cupcake appears freshly baked with a golden-brown top and decorative frosting around the edges.

Ordered: Strawberry Rhubarb Tiny Pie (~$6): fresh strawberries & rhubarb filling in a Tiny Pies crust topped with a brown sugar crumb Banana Pudding Tiny Pie (~$6): bananas, homemade vanilla wafers, vanilla pastry cream in a Tiny Pies crust topped with whipped cream and vanilla wafer Aya's take: I like the idea of Tiny Pies but the execution is lacking, in my opinion. We tried 2 of their tiny pies - the Strawberry Rhubarb Tiny Pie & Banana Pudding Tiny Pie. The pie crust for both was a bit chewy, kind of stale, and thicker than the actual filling. I like that it's a small sweet treat that can satisfy your dessert craving but the ratio of pie crust to filling needs to be better. The flavor of both fillings were actually great but slightly overpowered by the crust. Other than that, I can see a box of these being a cute gift for an event or occasion.

A pecan pie featuring a golden, flaky crust with a crimped edge. The filling is topped with a layer of glazed pecans arranged in a circular pattern. The pie is in a disposable aluminum pie pan, inside a cardboard box, ready for serving or delivery.

Oh my gosh, best pies I have ever had. I am extremely picky when it comes to pecan pies, but from the crust to the filling and the quality of pecans used was amazing.

Y U M! We went for the seasonal new pie freeze and it was to die for. Their homemade custard is so light and creamy, and you can choose which pie to blend. We did one Oreo and one s'mores and both were great. Smores was super rich and chocolately and the Oreo was lighter almost like a McFlurry (but way better). Tiny little space and tiny little pies which is fitting for the name but we loved every bit of it! They have sweet & savory offerings plus can cater events! Services was quick & their is plenty of parking out front of the stor

Pie Feeeze - Two people hold cups of ice cream with spoons in front of a mural on a building wall at Tiny Pies in Austin, Texas. The mural depicts a retro-style woman winking and smiling, with speech bubbles asking "Who's TINY now?!" and "How do you measure up?" The mural includes a drawing of a pie and colorful stripes near the roof. The cups of ice cream are branded with Tiny Pies and Pie Freez logos, and the scene is outdoors with a cloudy sky.

Tiny Pies is another Austin staple, definitely bringing something different to the Austin dessert scene. A fun catering treat for different events, too, like weddings! Without a doubt the pumpkin chai spice is a favorite, as well as the Texas pecan. Sometimes the Texas pecan is designed in the shape of Texas. Recently tried their new Pie Freeze when they rolled out the new dessert, and entirely thankful for the free giveaway! The Peach Cobbler freeze is exactly what you think it would be -- slices of peach, the crumble and spice, and the crust stirred into an ice cream "blizzard" (like DQ). Only comment - super sweet. No need to worry about a brain freeze, but maybe a sugar high for sure.

Key Lime - The image features a small baked pie with a golden-brown toasted meringue topping, placed inside a clear plastic container. The meringue is swirled and lightly charred on the peaks, indicating it has been toasted. The pie appears to have a flaky crust and is presented in a setting that suggests it was purchased for takeout or delivery.

When you step in here, the smell of the rich pie crust just hits you. Unfortunately for me, the pie crusts were kind of stale when I ate it. Which is a shame because the filling was very good. I was surprised that the Texas Two Step had dates in it. The pumpkin cheesecake was excellent but it was just disappointing that the crumbly Graham crust tasted old.

Have heard all about Uncle Tetsu and was walking when I saw it on the map, so obviously I had to…read morevisit. I believe this may be a smaller Uncle Tetsu and might not have every item but they have most things. They had samples available and for my first visit, I was able to get a good impression of select items! I had the opportunity to sample a piece of their cheesecake biscotti and matcha cheesecake. I asked for a recommendation as a first time and was told I have to try the original to start. Service seemed friendly but felt a little rushed for me to hurry up. Cheesecake Biscotti - from my small slice, I was impressed. It's an airy cookie that's baked to a crispy finish. The exterior is crispy but the inside is fluffy, it's a fun texture that simply feels remarkable. Plus the overall cheesecake flavor is a delightful sweetness. Matcha Cheesecake - I was impressed with the softness. The small sample was so light yet ready to fall from the toothpick at any moment. It was just so delicate. Matcha was present though it's hard to say how strong from a quick sample so I'll reserve on that. Original Cheesecake - now for the real experience, it's no exaggeration to say that this quite literally melts in your mouth. It's almost like the cake simply dissolves, leaving a cheesecake flavor behind. Super fluffy, light, and airy, the cheesecake is delicate and when you eat it, your taste buds light up as if a spotlight is emphasizing the presentation. Fantastic end to any meal as well, especially because it's not heavy at all.

Why 5 stars? Because apparently I'm a Japanese cheesecake guy now…read more --- --- --- While eating lunch nearby, I Yelped "sweets" and Uncle Tetsu was one of the first places to pop up. Japanese cheesecake, you say? I don't even really know what that is, but I'm intrigued. So I took my intrigued self down the road and popped in here. Upon walking in, there was some treats in the display case that were maybe donut-sized, at most. So I thought, hey, I'll go ahead and order three of these things because I'm a growing boy. The cashier rung me up and I tapped my watch on the Apple Pay thing immediately. But before I even realized what I'd done, I saw her bringing out 3 boxes that were about 3x bigger than the things in the case. it turned out, those were some kind of little tarts, while the cheesecakes are, you guessed it, about 3x bigger than those. So my little post lunch snack just turned into 3 cakes, of which I'd be taking some home to the family. But hey, it turns out, I love Japanese cheesecake, despite my mishap. Pandan was the highlight of the bunch (also grabbed an Oreo and an Ube). Some people might not like the texture, but that was the highight for me. It makes it seem not overwhelmingly sweet, but it also totally hits the spot for that ever-constant sugar craving after I eat. This was a huge win for me, despite getting way more than I came for.
