Farrell Pool Service helped us with a renovation of our pool in Wayland two seasons ago (2021). New stairs, new vinyl liner, switched to salt water chlorination, renovated our plumbing and skimmers, added a Polaris automatic pool cleaner. Everything has turned out GREAT. I've been using them for all my pool needs since moving into this home. This year I have fired them because of the following: The girl that answers the phone I have no problem with, she has left messages for someone to call me back regarding a liner replacement. They knew we would need one as I have had them out during the pandemic to repair a couple of leaks and to put us on their list for replacement. Our first call this year was before Labor Day and 3 calls later no one has even called back. The least they could have done was return our call. We have lived here for 23 years and never had a problem with them returning our calls. read more

Still using them but due to to their growth their service is subpar. Preciously all the service guys had years of experience. Now everyone that shows up does a half assed job. Have not had an opening or closing where I did not have to have them come back. Really need to look for another company. read more

We had booked Farrell after asking people in the area. I am very glad we did! They were very efficient, yet didn't seem to mind my continual questions about pools, and how things work. The guys that were here were very knowledgable, professional, and honest about equipment we have. I've been using Farrell Pool Services for as long as I can remember, maybe 30 years. First for leak repair, then liner replacement, then more and more as I can do less. Friendly, responsive, hard-working, cost-effective and resourceful. I have an older DE filter and pump and Farrell is great at keeping it working well. They go out of their way to come up with creative ways to solve problems. (One example: each winter, mice would nest in my pool heater and chew on the wiring., requiring a full repair in the spring. So, the FPS rep took apart the heater cover and custom built a steel wire cage around the wiring. Three years later, still no problem with the heater.) They provide great, cost-effective advice. Also, when these guys close my pool in the fall, it's always super-easy to re-open it in the spring. read more

I rarely write reviews but Farrell Pools is an amazing company with incredible service. My husband and I purchased our home this Spring and the pool was in less than stellar condition despite what we were told. Farrell came to give us a quote to fix the liner and some other repairs with by far the best price in town. We had some issues with cleaning and filtration and the team that came explained everything and our pool is crystal clear. They blew the original pool company out of the water and Farrell is now the only company we will ever use! Highly recommend these guys for anything! read more

Two words: Dustin rocks! We just moved into our home last year and are clueless on pool ownership and maintenance. Dustin took his time ensuring both my wife and I were clear on what we needed to do to get the pool swim ready and even repaired one of the hoses when it was clear it needed it. And when he found out that we intended to maintain the pool ourselves, he focused his attention to making sure we understood the basics and never pushed to use Farrell's service instead. I've been using Farrell pool for two years and observed a significant decline in service quality and customer service in 2016.The opening of the pool was fine, so was the repair work performed by the company. What did not work is the receptionist (Sandy, I believe) it totally not paying attention to your requests on scheduling, using your own chemicals vs. theirs that they charge for as well as sending unexperienced teams for weekly pool service customers. As a result, I had to pay extra charges for chemicals (they were right next to the pool but technicians preferred to use theirs at a premium to me), had to pay extra cleaning fee and clean the pool on my own for the wrong dates they came in (did not get a discount or an apology). I had multiple calls about quality of service: brushing was missed the first few times so pool did not look clean even after the cleaners left. Of course, all complaints were disregarded and instead of the owners you get to talk to the receptionist who is often rude. Leaving a review here so people to consider this in the future. read more
