called and spoke to the owner inquiring about some service work. the person identified them self as Paul and that is when the call went bad. he indicated that they have never been out to service my pool and when I asked if they were accepting new customers much to my surprise was old asked why I didn't do the work myself and that I should fill the pool with dirt. assume that they are unable to find staff and Paul took his frustration out on me. if you are looking for reliable and courteous service would not recommend this shop. read more

***STAY AWAY!*** I bought a home that had a pool was serviced through this company. This year I had my first mishap with them in which they schedule my pool opening, confirmed that a crew would be coming to my house in which I took time off of work to be there and when I get to my house at the time they were supposed to be there no one shows up, since no one called me back I gave them a call and was told no one would show up, I was upset and was told by Paul the owner that "the world isn't perfect" I was upset because no one called me and I had to call in to find out. Fast forward two weeks later after they finally opened my pool I put an order of a heat pump, gave the owner my card # and was told they needed a $400 deposit to which I agreed, two days go by and my card isn't charged, knowing their level of organization I called it and spoke to a woman that got my card # again and charged it later that day, I was promised that this would be installed within three weeks, those three weeks go by and I am not given an update, once again I call after a month of the initial charge and ask and was told that the pump is in a truck on its route to Massachusetts, it should be in the state through the weekend and I would be given a call early the week after to schedule this installation. Well I was given a call today and this woman on the phone said she is calling to schedule but cannot give me a time frame, could be anywhere between 9AM-6PM, mind you this is a week day and for a system like this someone needs to be home to learn how to manage it, I proceed to ask her if someone can send me a video of it and she said the installer who will be working on it cannot do that so she put me on hold to find a solution, she comes back on the phone and says that actually she made a mistake and the heat pump is still in Florida, I then ask her If i was lied to, she immediately transfers me to Paul that like always answers with an attitude in goes on to lie about what he just told me otherwise three days before. If you made it this far, my advise to you is stay away from these people, they do not know how to treat a costumer, lie to your face and are unapologetic about their mistakes, horrible company from top to bottom. They have lost my business and I am sure I will not be the last one. read more

Started using Heritage Pool in the summer of 2020. They found a bent return line and installed a temp line to get us through the summer. They also recommended a variable speed pump to replace the current pump we had that was way too much horsepower which affected water flow. Installed the variable speed pump during the summer and came back and installed a new return line in the fall. Paul has come out and made a few visits to help with vacuum issues and has always been professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Have learned many new things from him and we have had a pool for nearly thirty years. Highly recommend Heritage Pool and glad we found them. read more

unreal!! I have spent 3 years with 3 different companies working to fix my pool. replaced 2 filters and 2 motors in those 3 years - paid way too much service call money and spent countless wasted hours watching these guys do nothing. Or showing up late if at all. My pool has been running on about 30 % strength. Good enough to get by and bad enough to make me angry! 1 call to heritage and they showed up while I was at work. My pool is running like a champ! They followed up to tell me the problem (huge clogs in the pipes) that they cleared. We still may have cracks in the underground and that will be repaired. For now we are at 85% (feels like 100!) The woman that answered the phone and the owner were both very nice according to my wife. It's a pleasure to work with nice folks. I have found my pool company. I probably shouldn't post this because I don't want the secret to get out. If you have a pool problem...this company is the answer to your problems! read more

After going to a few pool companies closer to home and paying way too much and not getting the level of expertise and support I expected, Heritage Pools was recommended to me. Although they are located about 25 minutes from my home, I gave them a shot. That was about 20 years ago. I've been happily doing business with Heritage ever since. Over the years, I've gotten to know Paul and Laurie and crew pretty well. Over these 20 years, we've saved and upgraded our pool with a loop-loc cover, a new liner, a heater, new return line, new variable speed filter and the usual seasonal maintenance. And, they have always and continue to offer incredible service. Most recently, this season we were doing improvements to our pool patio that required some work from Heritage in conjunction with the patio company. The sequencing of work could have been a scheduling nightmare with variables like the weather and available staff among not just the two companies, but also our landscaping company. Amazingly, all worked out well including the incredible work ethic of Heritage's field team. A team of four came to do the work on time and with weather threatening it's completion, they were sure to come back as soon as it was safe and finished the job well and with time to spare for the next part of the project. These guys are the best!! I've been using them for 5 years and they'd been servicing the pool at my house for many years before I was there. They open and close our pool every year, and do whatever regular maintenance necessary. Last year I wanted to install a heater. I'm in the plumbing and heating world so I have some connections. When I asked them if they could pipe it for a heater because I got a good deal on one, the gentleman I was speaking to asked if he could have a shot at selling me the heater. And since I'm in the sales world, I gave him a shot. Well, they installed it for less than what I was going to pay for the heater itself! This year the heater needed to be started up. (Yes, it took me a year to dig the gas line trench). When I got home I noticed that they improved upon my install, all by themselves. They fastened the wire to make it more secure. They did that because that's how they would want it so that's how they want their customers to have it. They did that on their own, at no charge. How many people with pools can say "I love my pool company"? Well we sure can!!! Lifelong customer here. read more

We bought our house 3yrs ago and it was under forclosure. When we bought it we were super excited about the pool in the backyard, even tho we knew it needed work since the house had been vacant for over a year. This summer we finally decided to fix the pool.... after calling several pool places, Hertitage was the most affordable. We had heard some great things about them so we decided to go ahead and move forward. The owner was very "real" with us, letting us know what he personally thought was a waste of money and not worth our time. Even though he could have made more money off of us, he was honest. We liked that. Since the beginning of the summer was a wash out, we were not able to start the pool till after 4th of July, which we were disappointed about, but Heritage really pulled thru and got it up and running as soon as possible, and RIGHT before our week long heat wave! Doug, their service manager is an A+ employee! He has been by our house several times now to help us get use to balancing our chemicals and working our filter. He does not hesitate to jump in the pool and check on something (we thought we had a rock under the liner!) and he checked it out and smoothed it out, (it was just a dirt pebble and crumbled when he pressed on it!) They made sure that everything for our pool has been in working order and we could not be more pleased with their customer service and efforts to ensure that we are happy and enjoying our new pool! Had a pool with an old liner that needed a vinyl liner replacement. Contacted this company 3 times by phone and then stopped in 3 times attempting have my pool looked at and to obtain a written proposal to replace the liner. Although owner appeared to be interested in the work, explaining in person in detail what would be required and related costs, never followed through with a proposal to do the work. I will never attempt to do business with this company again. read more
