I talked to Sean and he answered all of the questions that I had before I decided to go to their showroom to look at it in person. I stopped by the Holliston store after work in April and I was impressed by every employee in the store practicing social distancing, wearing masks, etc. during the peak of COVID-19. I looked at the hot tub in person and it was everything that I was told it was before I got there. The salesperson was very friendly and answered all of my questions that I had about the Caldera Spas. The salesperson was not pushy at all. I ended up purchasing the same display model a few days later. Josh came to my house to perform a pre-delivery site survey and drop off the electrical service panel a few days after that. A couple of weeks later, the Hearthside Service team came to delivery my new hot tub and install all of the accessories on it. They were all very friendly and cleaned up after themselves prior to leaving. I have had a very positive experience with the purchase and delivery of my new Caldera Spa and highly recommend Hearthside Fireplace & Patio! I can also highly recommend the Service Team over at Hearthside as well. I have had a couple of issues with the my new spa, but that was to be expected as it was a display model and a couple of years old. The technician that comes here is very friendly and always leaves everything exactly as he found it and cleans up prior to leaving. I recently had an issue with the Topside Control Panel on my hot tub which was causing the hot tub to shutdown and the temperature has been below freezing. The heater was unable to operate due to the faulty control panel and I was worried that the water inside of the hot tub and plumbing would freeze leading to more problems. Hearthside was able to get a technician in within the same week to figure out what was causing the issue and what they needed to order. Hearthside then ordered the part and was back here to replace it only a couple of business days later. The hot tub is now good as new. I am very impressed with their service and response. Hearthside was able to expedite the shipping on the new part that I needed even during the COVID-19 pandemic and they were also able to get the technician back here to replace it as soon as it came in. When you are purchasing a new hot tub/spa you want to make sure that the dealer is going to service it after you purchase it as they are the ones that honor the manufacturer's warranty. I can safely say that Hearthside will service your hot tub and honor the manufacturer's warranty if needed. If you're looking for a new hot tub, I would not hesitate to checkout a Caldera Spa at any of Hearthside's locations!

Until we visited a home show, and we priced out pools - and just when we were about to "bite the bullet", a well known company in the North Shore, that ONLY does spas and spa pools, gave us a really good breakdown on how a spa pool would fit our needs/lifestyle at a fraction of the cost of a pool. We embarked on doing research. LOTS of research (we currently own a non heated pool, and the maintenance hasn't been a big deal, so we KNEW what we would get ourselves in to... but $150K pricetag?! um, uh...). Wound up at NES (and you've read my review/experience on that, and subsequently the manager boohooing thinking we were "indoctrinated" by them only to ditch them... nope, they were overpriced and only decided to make a deal when they realized they lost the sale... but I digress). SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Off we go to Ferrari, and got a really, really wonderful cost/benefit analysis on pools (did I mention they do pools?!) and our life style. Actually, they sell few spa's, because patios are #1 and pools #2. Mark and the ENTIRE crew are PHENOMENAL. Ordering, pricing, installation, post installation training and service. PHENOMENAL! The installer tea are a hilarious group of hard working and upbeat professionals. Made everything look so easy. Mike Hunter did the follow up and guided us through all the features. Although it seems like a lot of money, I understand the reasons behind collecting a deposit (customers unexpectedly cancelling appointments, technician time to travel and diagnose issues, etc.). I paid the deposit and we confirmed the next available appointment was 3/20/25. On 3/14/25 I got an email (no phone call) telling me "Due to unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to complete your spa service on 3/20/25. Instead, we will be there 3/25/25". I was so frustrated and disappointed they had picked a new date without discussing it with me and that it was 5 days later. I discussed the issue with the service department, they apologized and said that was the earliest date. There was nothing more they could do. On 3/25/25, the day of my appointment, I get a voice message that said they needed to cancel the appointment and reschedule for 3/26/25. Because I have a fenced in yard with dogs I took the day off of work to be here. I'm beyond frustrated with NE Spas. Conveniently they took my money in less than 24hours but they have no problem rescheduling my appointments for 16 days. By the way their policy is no monetary refunds just store credit. So that's not even an option. I feel trapped because they have my money and left me no other option but to accept their dates.

But on installation day, I was surprised to learn he had subcontracted the job to someone else, a contractor who was rude, unprofessional, and canceled because of light morning rain, even though the forecast cleared up by 9 a.m. Mark agreed with their decision and told me to call someone named Carlos, who could "get me in ASAP." I was confused why was I calling anyone else when I had hired him to do the job? We took time out of work to be home and based on the forecast for that day I found it ridiculous! I get if there is going to be chances of heavy rain then obviously a pool install should be cancelled but it was literally dry the ENTIRE DAY after 9 am and the ground was hardly wet where I live! When I questioned it, Mark told me he doesn't make money on the installs and just passes the work off to other contractors. He said he had "no time for me." I was never told the job would be subcontracted, even though the permit was pulled under his company's name. In the end, I can't recommend him due to the lack of honesty and professionalism. Fortunately, the second crew (despite bad reviews) showed up as promised, worked through the extreme heat, and did a great job!

New England Spas and Hot Tubs…read more NE Spas had an incredibly knowledgeable service department that went over and above to support a buyer who didn't acquire the highest end tub AND lives on a island! This issue arose because I chose to plug in my tub (how hard could it be) because hiring an electrician to come to an island by boat is difficult. Turns out, an electrician would have known to clamp the main power cord. Pulling on it over time ended up shorting out the circuit board. That's when the fun began. NESpas made sure to order the right replacement board, put me on a group chat and walked me through the installation. I clamped the power cord and it's operated flawlessly ever since. Don't go anywhere else!
