Impressed by the service and the food. Ordered online and did a pick up late afternoon-ish. Got a their "Farmer's Best Combo" for 14.99 which includes a Farmer's Burger, a fountain drink, and your choice of sides from onion rings, fried zucchini, and fries. I got a pink lemonade and onion rings. Also got a sourdough chicken sandwich and two other sides (one more order of onion rings and fried zucchini). The burger and sourdough sandwich are huge. They use real strips of whole bacon that actually taste like smoky bacon. The bacon I've had at other fast food restaurants tend to have zero flavor which tells me the bacon is pre-cooked and shipped in. The bacon at Farmer Boys seems prepared on site and possibly made to order but probably not. Also, the bacon at Farmer Boys seem thick cut rather than the skinny slices at other places. The onion rings are huge. The fried zucchini sticks are huge. Easily one of the better onion rings I've had, especially from a fast food restaurant. They retained their crispiness on the ten minute drive back home. I would not get the fried zucchini sticks again at least not to go. They got soggy on the way back home which isn't surprising since zucchini is a high moisture food. So that's on me. I bet they are fantastic when you eat them at the restaurant rather than order them to go. Got helped almost as soon as I walked into the location. And the staff is very attentive. I ordered a bunch of condiments and utensils that were all placed in the bag. Not a single item was missing which is truly impressive. Even got an extra straw since I asked for no ice in my fountain drink. Little details like that kind of seal the deal for me to want to come back. I've lived locally in DB for most of my teenage and adult life and never got around to trying Farmer's Boys and decided to take the plunge because my parents kept seeing the ads on YouTube and told me to pick up food for them. Decently big portions and use coupons when you can, I've gotten some paper coupons in the mail, but almost everything is app based these days. I have a hilarious side story about this Farmer Boys. My family almost never goes out to eat together. I was about to go hang out with my friends until my dad asked us to go out. So imagine my surprise when we went to Farmer Boys and we ordered 3 burgers and 1 fry for 4 people and my dad got my brother an avocado burger that he's allergic to and he scrapes out all of the avocado. I'm not sure what anyone was thinking and it was a bizarre interaction, but the food was fine. A bit greasy, but it's a hearty and fine fast food place. Breakfast was a tad dry when we ordered to go, so it's a bit of a mixed bag. But better than some of the other fast food slop out there. read more

Went to Farmer Boys today (9/23/26). I was greeted immediately by Ashley (cashier) when I walked up to the front counter. Really loved her customer service. She was really helpful when it came to answering questions that I had. Also, the staff made my food quickly. I ordered the Farmer's Best Burger combo with onion rings and a regular drink. The burger was tasty. The onion rings were mid. Its' batter tastes great, but the onion was not crunchy at all. I recommend people to get the zucchini sticks because it's really tasty and crunchy. I actually love this place. The burgers, salads and my personal fav chicken strips are really good and the service is always done really well. I was going to not post but decided I should because the experience happened. They had a $5 breakfast burrito deal for National Burrito Day and I ordered two: bacon and sausage. I had planned on sharing the bacon with my wife and the sausage was for me. I get that it was less than half the normal cost but my burrito was ALL POTATOES. I mean I barely saw or tasted any sausage. My wife tasted it and said "no thank you" to the bacon. So i had it today; and it had no meat either. Honestly it was a solid burgers wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The meat was cooked perfectly, the veggies were nice and fresh, the taste was on point, can't really complain. I got home and same hash browns that are always raw. When I called and asked for Jessica, a regular employee tried to impersonate Jessica. I ordered their Double Burger with grilled onions, no cheese/tomato or pickles and a large Fries. I wish Yelp would allow titles for reviews because this would be titled "It never happened". We first tried Farmer Boys while shopping at Sam's Club in La Habra. The food and service there were great. We were excited to discover a location closer to our house, but while the food is good, the service and management are terrible. Back in December, we ordered dinner for the family totaling $59.63 at the drive-through, their cashier machine rebooted mid-transaction, losing our payment. We were asked to pay again and were assured that if we were double-charged, we'd be reimbursed the following business day. That did not happen. We ended up being charged nearly $120 for burgers and fries. We contacted management and were told to email a copy of our bank statement and receipt, with a promise of reimbursement within 2-3 business days. That never happened. After no acknowledgment of my first email, I sent another. Nothing happened. A week later, I called management again. They apologized and said the extra $59.63 would be reimbursed the next day. That didn't happen either. I escalated to corporate, only to be redirected back to the store. On my third call to the store manager, I was told to bring proof of overpayment (another bank statement) and the now-fading receipt to the store for a refund. At this point, I've lost trust in their "promises" and refuse to waste more time or gas driving to the location. This entire experience has been a nightmare. I've been left to do all the legwork while management offers nothing but empty apologies. I hope local management sees this and makes it right. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment. Pay in cash if you go, and heaven help you if there's an issue--they won't fix it. Why am I just posting this review now? Because I wanted to give management of the establishment ample opportunities to rectify the situation. That never happened. read more
