I have maybe been to a Farmer Boys like once in my life. Noticed there's one not too far from work, so decided to give it a try. I ordered the double burger meal and got a side of chicken strips. Everything I had was fresh and hot like they just made it even though I ordered ahead. I didn't go inside, but went with the drive through that moved pretty quickly. I've been here once again since and had their chili fries, which were meh. Everything else I've gotten so far has been really good. Highly recommend downloading their app to get freebies and earn points. Looking forward to trying their salads the next time I'm here. read more

Service was good, but the food was really bad! I order a sourdough chicken avocado with onion rings, and the meat was un cooked a the avocado was all black, not fresh at all, and some of the onions rings were un cooked as well. I was so disappointed! And unhappy with my food! read more

Farmer boys Chicken Cobb salad or wrap is scrumptious. There really aren't too many good reviews at Farmer Boys locations, but I like this location. I get my breakfast burritos here and my salads here and they don't disappoint. Service is friendly at the window and it's not too long of a wait when it's busy. I wish Yelp would allow titles for reviews because this would be titled "It never happened". We first tried Farmer Boys while shopping at Sam's Club in La Habra. The food and service there were great. We were excited to discover a location closer to our house, but while the food is good, the service and management are terrible. Back in December, we ordered dinner for the family totaling $59.63 at the drive-through, their cashier machine rebooted mid-transaction, losing our payment. We were asked to pay again and were assured that if we were double-charged, we'd be reimbursed the following business day. That did not happen. We ended up being charged nearly $120 for burgers and fries. We contacted management and were told to email a copy of our bank statement and receipt, with a promise of reimbursement within 2-3 business days. That never happened. After no acknowledgment of my first email, I sent another. Nothing happened. A week later, I called management again. They apologized and said the extra $59.63 would be reimbursed the next day. That didn't happen either. I escalated to corporate, only to be redirected back to the store. On my third call to the store manager, I was told to bring proof of overpayment (another bank statement) and the now-fading receipt to the store for a refund. At this point, I've lost trust in their "promises" and refuse to waste more time or gas driving to the location. This entire experience has been a nightmare. I've been left to do all the legwork while management offers nothing but empty apologies. I hope local management sees this and makes it right. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment. Pay in cash if you go, and heaven help you if there's an issue--they won't fix it. Why am I just posting this review now? Because I wanted to give management of the establishment ample opportunities to rectify the situation. That never happened. read more

Came here today for the first time, called in a cobb salad no egg. It was ready when I got there in less than 10 minutes. Ladies up front were very nice. I only ever ate at the Riverside location, inside, and their salad was huge!!! This was a to go one, a lot smaller, and less chicken. It was still tasty, and the price was right. We were furious and knocked on the window, a young lady by the name Bree, advised us that Diana was the manager. We asked Bree to please refund us because we no longer wanted the food. Hopefully corporate or somebody above Diana at this store, looks at this message and rethink about her leadership skills, her customer service abilities are poor. Hope this helps someone else. If I could give this place no stars at all I would. I just came here for the first time ever and this has the absolute place I have ever been to. It took 30 minutes to even get to the window from the time I ordered the food at the kiosk. Then once I got to the window, they said that only one part of my order was made and then I had to wait even longer in the parking lot for them to make the rest of my order which didn't even come out to bring to me for another 30 minutes. Come here quite often and have always had good service and food but after tonight's experience I don't think we'll be back. They may want to reconsider management because Diana is one of the rudest people I've ever come across. She has zero customer service skills and literally rolled her eyes and closed the window on me WHILE I was politely asking her to correct the order they got wrong. My mind was blown when I asked a second employee to talk to a manager and they told me it was her. If she can't handle a polite customer with a request then I'd hate to see how she responds to an aggressive customer who isn't as nice and patient. I do appreciate the second employee who helped us, Bre. She was very polite and well spoken. She handled and remediated the situation like a real manager should even though she seemed hesitant as if this is not the first time she's had to deal with the managers wrath. Thank you to the cook as well who also went out of his way to try and make the situation better while the "manager" was nowhere to be seen. Scrumptious. In fact I'd been going here for some time and my last visit was the best I can remember their food every tasting. People swoon over a certain burger franchise a couple of blocks down. This was even better. Being named Tim and going here is the weirdest thing cause there's so many regulars named Tim. So they'll call out the name Tim and me trying to work their app, had me thinking they got my order in already. That's another thing, the workers are so sweet and friendly, they helped me get my app points and order it with me having the worst trouble working it. When I was new to the area last year I came here and liked it. It seems that now the service and food have deteriorated. The last two breakfasts were pathetic. The scramble eggs were like 1-1/2 eggs instead of three. The bacon was super thin, not crispy and really short. When I questioned the server her attitude was take it or leave it. I thought they were waiting for a part of my order but after two different guests that came after me and got their food and left, the worker went back to the bag and called my name. By far the absolute worst customer service I have ever received at a Farmer Boys, and even worse food! As I stood at the counter I was walked past four times and ignored before asking me what I would like... (3-egg breakfast) Room temp at best hash browns. Cold toast that took a detour passed the toaster with globs of unmelted butter. Slimy, cloudy, snot coming off my raw eggs. Though I completely lost my appetite, the bacon was edible... Filthy dirty tables. Empty jelly holder. Tapatio, Cholula. And ketchup bottles almost empty that have never been cleaned. Stopped by here on my to work early in the morning and they were slammed. It was sad to see their employee Jasmine working up front in the lobby area and taking orders from the drive thru alone.
