Today changed my experience. I decided to come in for a dirty chai. It's a treat. Something I don't have very often. I asked for the dirty chai with half and half. I was quite surprised by the $1.50 up charge for the half and half. I didn't want to sound like a complainy customer but I am so tired of all these up charges....So I asked why the up charge and she told me "milk is expensive so we charge for it." Why are you charging extra for a milk that belongs in a drink in the first place?? Also, I could have asked for no milk and then filled my cup with the half and half on the bar. It soured me enough---sorry to say---that I may not come back anymore and I will send my guests elsewhere. There is only so much nickel and dime-ing local customers can and will take.

The first thing is that the place was about 2/3 full and they seem pretty well staffed in the front of the house. There were 2-3 bartenders behind the bar at all times. After we ordered (2 cups of lobster bisque and bread), our server apologized and told us there was a large party in their private room and the chef was having a hard time keeping up. I can't imagine they normally only have one person preparing all of the food on a normal Saturday evening! It took no less than 45 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. Some olives or something would have been nice. My mom also had to wait 15 mins for her 2nd glass of wine. I'll tell you, we weren't going to order anything else after that! There was some really nice classical guitar music by a live musician. I tipped him on our way out. After we left, we noticed a $5 entertainment charge! Is this a norm in Colorado? I would think we would be informed upon entering if there's a cover fee or an additional charge. I would have been happy to pay it, but we should have been informed.

Service was good, and food was actually quick for the most part. For the price and okay food, I would probably go to a different Spanish tapas place in town.

Out of the 3 in the European one, the Spanish wine (Marques de Grinon, 'Caliza' 2020 vintage) stood out the most to us. After we had finished our flights my daughter ordered a full 6oz glass of it to fully immerse herself in the wonderful Espanol wine. The bartender, Jake, was peppy and pleasant to us.
