Blackened Salmon sandwich with New England Clam Chowder

Very very enjoyable lunch! With wonderful service and food that tastes as good as it looks. The outdoor seating area accommodates many tables and is a fun place to eat. The inside is super charming.

Nice place & I'm ashamed this is my first visit.

Farley Mac's is my kind of place. The local crowd seems to feel the same! I've driven by far too many times and each time, one says to self, "I've got to check this place out." Finally, on a nice sunny Sunday at noon time with pup in tow; well, maybe we were in tow. The outdoor seating wide open and pup was welcome to join us. As we sat, the friendliest server greeted the 3 of us. Menu discussed and even the world famous Farley Pup Plate (crumbled burger & bacon)! The jealous humans ordered the Farley Burger with bacon and sautéed onions and Turkey Bacon Club. A draft ale and fresh un-sweetened iced tea arrived. While we waited, the local crowd appeared and departed in a well orchestrated fashion as if this was an every Sunday routine. Fine with me because each passerby in departure mode had a face of content pleasure. I took a brief stroll inside to wash up; inside comfy tables, bar room in back, and ship like passage to the "one horse heads." Our two plates and pup bowl arrived. The plates one with fries and the other with coleslaw well portioned for sharing, which the human pets did with one and other. The three of us had a nice social chat/woof with our server who absolutely pampered our pup prior to departing with our "look of pure content."

The only place in town my mother is interested in eating! She LOVES their fish & chips. You can skip the chowder, and I was a little disappointed they didn't have chicken Parmigiano, (my birthday wish) but everything I have eaten here has been good. (Besides the soup) I had the pickle brined fried chicken.

"On the corner is a banker with a motorcar And little children laugh at him behind his back And the banker never wears a Mac in the pouring rain Very strange" (Lennon & McCartney) HAPPY HOUR REVIEW Bottom line- this was one of the best Happy Hours we've enjoyed in a very long time. They offer just five Happy Hour food choices, Each is $7 and their HH menu lists the five (Fried Pickles, Pierogis, BBQ Kielbasa, Grilled Cheese Bites and Loaded Tots) as "Appetizers". Now we've hit enough Happy Hours to know that some HH food portions are miniscule. This was our first trip to Farley Mac's, so in an abundance of caution we ordered four of them - all except the pickles. So how surprised were we to see these huge platters of "appetizers" appear on our table. Not only were the portions big but the quality was terrific. The BBQ Kielbasa was terrific- nicely grilled chunks with a yummy BBQ sauce. The Grilled Cheese bites were a whole grilled cheese sandwich cut into strips with a cup of tomato soup. The tots were loaded with cheese and bacon and grilled onions, same as the Pierogis. We ended taking more than half of this feast home. No review of our HH experience would be complete without lavishing praise on our server. Laura was a delight, as friendly and charming as anyone. She even gave us a complimentary Valentines Day candy that I'm pretty sure she made herself. Farley Macs was great -the dining room is warm and welcoming, their classic rock playlist was perfect for our tastes, and we loved the neighborhood vibe inside. It seemed that everyone inside knew each other and I enjoyed the friendly banter they shared with each other and with Laura. This location has had a troubled history, with a Pizza and then a Thai restaurant coming and disappearing over the years. But Farley Macs sure looks like it will be around for a long time.

Was driving by and noticed how welcoming it looked from the outside. Had to go in. The inside was even more welcoming... very homey, and just comfortable. Indoor and outdoor tables, and seating at the bar. The cheeseburger was excellent. 8 ozs of Angus beef on a Kaiser roll. Choice of ff, pasta salad or potato salad as the side. I opted for the ff, which were good. Lots of happy hour (2 to 6) app specials. Kara, the barmaid / table server was excellent. One additional plus worth mentioning. There are two kielbasa choices. One appie and one sandwich. They feature Janik kielbasa (made in Enfield CT by the same family since 1899). IMHO, Janik is one of the best. All in all, a neat place that opened just under two years ago. Worth a visit.

    Nachos w/ chicken (Half order!)

First time in the area and decided to give lunch a shot at Farley Mac's. Called order in and the host answered quickly & efficiently. We went with the Half order of Nachos adding grilled chicken, jalapeños on the side & a Farley Burger W/ fries cooked medium adding bacon. Order was hot and ready to pick up in less than 20 minutes & totaling UNDER $40.00!!! Amazing Value. This spot has a classic Pub atmosphere in the cozy dinner area and the sleek bar. Food was great and hot when we got back to eat. Burger was thick and juicy full of flavor and not greasy really hitting the spot. I would love to return and eat in at this spot, our food was delicious and would only be better coming straight out of the kitchen! Cheers to Farley Mac's for getting it right!

Delightful family chef owned restaurant. As fall progresses it is great to sit outside with the heat lamps warming the patrons. The food is great pub fare. The scenery of setting skies is amazing! The desserts sound amazing - will report back in a few after I choose.....

I love hamburgers. I've had hamburgers all over the world. I've had hamburgers all over the Farmington Valley. While it is easy to rate Five Guys as having an excellent hamburger, Wayback in Granby has a good hamburger, shake shack in West Hartford has excellent hamburgers....the Farley Burger beats them all. Large, thick, cooked to order (med rare) with a great bun, lettuce & tomato & cheese, let me tell you this is one outstanding hamburger. Try one. You won't be disappointed!

Consistently friend service and good food. A group of 4 went on a Saturday night recently and sat in the bar because the weather wasn't good enough to sit outside. 2 got the steak tips, i had a buffalo chicken wrap and hubby had the meatloaf sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meals with a few beverages. Happy hour is offered outside during the summer - you don't need to be sitting at the bar to enjoy it!

What a fabulous restaurant! Service was genuinely kind and welcoming. Small place with plenty of room for seating and enjoyment. The food was so good. We started with hot honey wings, perfect sweetness to go along with the hot. French dip was devoured by make spawn, Buffalo chicken dip was to die for had by female spawn and chicken wrap enjoyed by squidward. I, enjoyed the pretzels. Baked to perfection!! To end the meal, we were given cute shamrock chocolates. So good. A definite place to return to!!!

I had heard a lot about this place so I wanted to try it. It is pub fare with a bit of Irish and Polish mixed in, and was ok. First, service was excellent, it seemed like one person had all the tables but she did a great job. Food was average. I had a Fried Chicken sandwich with honey hot sauce but it may have been buffalo. Not sure. (See picture). The wings were good. Nothing special. I actually prefer the wings to have a crunchy skin and not soft skin. My other diner had a plain fried chicken sandwich which was ok also. My son has a theory about chicken sandwiches that if they are served with stuff on them (besides pickles) then they are not very good. He may have a point. My final (slightly snobby) criticism is that the Coke was served in plastic cups. I know that is a stupid detail, but I am an adult, I know how to drink from a glass! The bar is a bit of an afterthought here, it is out of place in the middle of the dining room. There is also a 4 top table by the restrooms that is not a place you would want to sit.

I saw on their social page that Redstone has really stepped up their game of late. Think a new menu, lower prices, a super simplified Happy Hour (Every menu item & drink is $3 OFF), Weekly Specials, a lunch menu, and special events Trivia Tuesdays, Game Night Thursdays, and Wine & Whiskey Wednesdays. Our server Josh was great, super friendly and helpful. With the Happy Hour discount, we bought 2 Mich Lights for $3 a pop, a BLT with chips for $13. And a chicken quesadilla for $13. The BLT had quite a bit of bacon, and likewise, the quesadilla had quite a bit of chicken. We were very happy with our Happy Hour experience. Nice job reinventing yourself, Redstone.

This is the 1st review I have ever taken the time to write, I don't like throwing anyone under the Bus, but my sandwich and my friends sandwich were bad, we should have stayed home and grilled out. I had the scallops with risotto which were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Hats off to anyone who can cook a risotto well and they do it perfectly. I started with clam chowder that while could've been a little hotter, was thick and delicious. Other people in the party had eggplant Parmesan, which reportedly was terrific, chicken Parmesan that was cooked beautifully with lots of grilled chicken a lovely marinara that was topped with lots of cheese and spiced. The ancient grain risotto was again fantastic, and anyone who can cook a risotto well deserves kudos. The dessert I had the strawberry shortcake that wasn't too sweet and had a beautiful flavor of fresh strawberries throughout with lots of whipped cream. The Keylime pie was tart and delicious. The Brooklyn layered chocolate cake was tremendous layers of cake and frosting. It was just a perfect rendition of a chocolate cake. Last but not least was the coconut cake which rivals my favorite coconut cake in the world from Max A Mia. The Abigail's version was a bit lighter, but equally as delicious with coconut frosting that really hit the spot and is worth the trip back. The bill came to $317 and with a $60 tip for outstanding service and a wonderful Mother's Day meal

Our server was busy but super attentive and friendly. I noticed it was very kid-friendly since there were other kids there and they had a kids menu. Their menu was vast menu and I wanted to try so many food items. I started off with a hibiscus margarita; oh my, one of the best I've had, it was a 5/5. We also had the asian calamari; it's fried battered squid, banana peppers, and a side of sweet chili. This was mouthwatering good and it was a 4/5. I had a cesar half salad which was toothsome; the dressing, parmesan, croutons, and salad ratio was perfection. My main entree, I had the prosciutto wrapped cod; that is baked cod, wrapped with prosciutto, served over parmesan risotto and broccoli with lemon butter. The showstopper was the parmesan risotto, I could eat a gallon of that lol. The cod was okay, it needed more flavor but the prosciutto definitely helped with the flavor. Overall the cod fish was 3.5/5.
