Delicious Birthday gluten free chocolate cake.

First time here. Our server Jade was wonderful - very pleasant and attentive. fun atmosphere - reasonable prices. We are in the dining room. The bar was very crowded and rowdy but it was during a UCONN game. Drinks (martini) was good and reasonably priced. Steak was good - generous portions. Only suggestion - maybe add a scalloped potatoe or baked potato as a side option. Will go again

Takeout Review: Enclave Grille is a new American style restaurant serving burgers, salads, entrees, appetizers, and beverages. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant was really classy looking when I went to pick up my order. The food was ready at the time of pickup; the service was good and friendly. My family and I had the garlic parmesan wings which were really good; it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My husband said his smoked burg which came with smoked Gouda, bacon, fried onion strips, and BBQ sauce was delicious. I look forward to ordering this one next time. I had the Illyrian Burg, which was alright. It had kajmak cheese spread, pinxhur (roasted red pepper and tomato), chopped onions, roasted garlic, and red pepper. I think it was missing something but I couldn't put my finger on it. The corkscrew fries were the highlight of my meal. It's thickly cut steak fries that had a twist to it; it was crispy and had the perfect amount of salt on it. Overall, we had a decent dinner and we look forward to ordering from there again.

The five star reviews do not lie! Our appetizer, entrees, salads and dessert were all perfectly cooked and prepared and simply delicious! From start to finish, everything including our service was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely return soon!

Last minute dinner date with my fiancé led us to this cute little restaurant. It's a bit bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. There's also a small outdoor seating area. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and because it was so close to opening time we were seated right away. Our waiter brought us over waters and took our drink order. There is an extensive beer/wine/drink list as there is a big bar area but unfortunately their non-alcoholic drink list is very minimal. The food though!! We ordered 2 appetizers. We got bone in wings with their house blend Spartan Sauce which was literally to die for. We also got the nachos which have an option to sub the chips for corkscrew fries which of course we did and it was such a good decision. We got the beer cheese instead of the shredded cheese which they didn't skimp on at all! The fries were nice and crispy on the outside and thick and fluffy on the inside. For entrees my fiancé got their 'Clave Burg which comes with their 'Clave sauce which he said was really good. The burger was cooked perfectly for him and his fries were crispy with just the right amount of salt. I got the Clave House Salad with buffalo chicken tenders on top. The salad was SO fresh. Everything was crisp and crunchy and the greens were like a spring mix with spinach and purple leaf lettuce. The buffalo chicken can either be grilled or crispy. I got crispy and the breading was very good. There were a couple spots on the chicken missing the breading but that didn't bother me. The tenders were huge too. The buffalo sauce was just the right amount of spicy for me. Their menu isn't crazy big so it didn't feel overwhelming ordering. We will definitely go back. 4 stars only because it would be nice to have more non-alcoholic drink options.

First time coming down to the new restaurant. Service was great, and beer selection was decent. Got the burger which was cooked perfectly and juicy. Fries needed a few more minutes but overall great ambiance and food. Will be back again!

Fork and Fire has an upscale Gastropub sort of vibe and offers an eclectic menu. My family and I visited on a Sunday around lunch time. Fork and Fire only offered their Brunch Menu at the time, which I didn't know. I was in more of a lunch mood, but they let me order the Black and Burger off the later menu, which was very nice. Not all cheeseburgers feature melty slices. The Black and Blue Burger featured Crumbled Blue Cheese, Pickled Red Onions, Smoked Bacon and Chipotle Aioli, on Toasted Brioche. The burger was huge and well cooked. So juicy it dripped. A flavor bomb. I also ordered the famous Kitchen Sink wings for the table, along with a side of Blue Cheese AND Ranch. The wings were super juicy. Top Tier Juicy. But the outer texture was still appropriately crisp. The sauce was sweet and savory, with a little bit of heat. Great wings. And the side sauces were terrific too. Service was very good. The atmosphere was terrific. Everyone enjoyed their orders. 4.5 Stars

The textured walls are gorgeous and give the space a style it was definitely missing before. As usual, the happy hour menu never disappoints. The Pomjito is a personal favorite.. refreshing, light, and not too sweet. We also got the oysters and mussels, both solid. The mussel sauce was unique compared to a typical tomato base, which we really appreciated. For my entrée, though, I was disappointed to see that the tuna salad I always order had completely changed. It used to be an arugula salad with Asian flavors and the tuna served on top. Now it It's a Niçoise salad, and the tuna is awkwardly placed on the side. Nothing about the tuna tasted like it did before. I'm usually a sucker for ahi tuna, but this was honestly one of the most disappointing ahi dishes I've ever had. It felt totally incohesive with the salad next to it. I really wish they didn't change the menu so frequently. Once I finally find an entrée I genuinely look forward to, it disappears. That said, we'll still be back for the great happy hour food and solid drinks. Now it's just a matter of finding a menu item I like... and hoping they keep it.

Notwithstanding, we looked forward to something unique and outstanding, given the constant advertising on Yelp for the Parker House Rolls. The hostess was friendly, the waiter a bit snobbish, but perhaps that's the "exclusive" vibe they are trying to project. We went on to peruse the menu, which is a bit abbreviated; I assumed it's because they are focused on their "specialty." We took in the views, which, hailing from New York City, were not as vast or fascinating as those we were used to. Granted, we knew where we were and really had no expectations. We just wanted to enjoy dinner. The meal's presentation was beautiful. The Parker House Rolls were delicious. The Hamachi Crudo appetizer was perfection. I did not enjoy the Skate Wing and did not eat it; it had a tough rubbery texture; probably overcooked. I mentioned to my waiter that I didn't enjoy it, and he offered no alternative, so I ate more rolls. My husband enjoyed the Dry Aged Rohan Duck. We topped it off with a chocolaty dessert and French press coffee. The friendliest of the staff was a young man who collected our plates after our entrees. He smiled and interacted in a very down-to-earth manner. Overall, the appetizer, rolls, and dessert were delicious. The service was stoic and not warm or welcoming. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be visiting again.

It's decent food but not the greatest. I get it, it's fine dining but not all the flavors were there. Three of us paid almost $800, so, yes, I was expecting to be blown away with my tastebuds in overdrive but my tastebuds were underwhelmed. Started off with canapés: east coast oysters (green grape granita); could've used sprinkle of salt. Beef tartar (green garlic kimchi aioli, lime, mint, anchovy breadcrumbs); needed more salt, very bland with little flavor & carrot veloute (coconut milk, red curry, cilantro, peanuts), very delicious and flavorful. 1st course: Hamachi Crudo (celery, sorrel, green apple), needed salt. 2nd course: Foie Gras Torchon (black mission fig, five spice, brioche bun). Brioche was extremely dry and cold, not buttery and soft like a brioche should be. 3rd course: Mackerel (thompcord grape, lardo, smoked yogurt); extremely fishy and unpleasant. Grapes were sweet and delicious and smoked yogurt and lardo didn't contribute anything great. 4th course: Chestnut Tortellini (browned sage butter) was great! 5th course: Dry Aged Rohan Duck Presse (beet, huckleberry, port jus) was underwhelming. Breast was cooked to right temperature but skin was super fatty and soggy. As an avid duck eater, I think a crispy skin and more seasoning in the actually meat would've been nice. It needed salt for sure to enhance the flavors but the roasted and pickled beets were delicious. The port just didn't do much for flavor and huckleberry was delicious and could've used more of it. 6th course: A5 Wagyu Ribeye (roasted daikon, black garlic bordelaise, hen of woods) very delicious in every aspect. The black garlic bordelaise brought this entire dish together with its incredible flavor! I wish the bordelaise was served with the duck as well! 7th course: Foie Gras Ice Cream & Apple Tarte. Interesting ice cream flavor by itself but eaten with the apple tarte it worked well. The tarte had crispy bits of caramel that added great texture and flavor. Ambiance is beautiful on the 20th floor overlooking Hartford. I'm sure it's beautiful during sunset. Again, I wish I was blown away like others have been. Maybe my expectations are too high, I'm not sure. I'm neutral as I am unsure if I would recommend this establishment. I do know that I wouldn't return.
