    breakfast and lunch menu
    Steve C.

Clean and uncrowded and the customer or two, along with a friendly staff, makes this out of the way breakfast and lunch restaurant, appealing at first glance. There were a bunch of menu options but we chose a roast beef wrap and a typical BLT, which come with a pickle and one side. I couldn't tell you what the music source is, but some of the music is a little Bizzarre as background. When you look at the pictures, see if you can spot the huge pickles! The food looks nice and was presented well and is hot as appropriate and the taste is just fine.

Great banter between workers who look like they enjoy being there. Lots of room between the two dining areas (the one on the left is bigger and can only be seen when you enter). Food was quick and exactly what you expect. Solid.

Big plate w/ pancakes, eggs, bacon & home fries

A nice little breakfast spot not too far from the airport. While visiting decided to stop by because I was on a quest for pancakes & this was one place that came up on Yelp & they would be still open for a decent amount of time. They have a very friendly staff, they were very warm & welcoming. They have a breakfast & a lunch menu so you are presented with what you feel like eating at the time. Make sure you ask for the WiFi password. The cell phone reception isn't that great in the general area. I ordered the big plate because it came with most of what I wanted to eat & some. Being that my main reason for going here was the pancakes I was slightly disappointed. The pancakes weren't bad but they weren't the best either. The bacon very crispy! I really enjoyed the home fries because they didn't add anything extra to it like onions or whatever else people throw in it. And no complaints about the eggs those were also good. I would visit again for sure but next time give their lunch menu a try.

Bacon egg cheese on a croissant. Delish.

Quick service, fresh ingredients, good portions, well priced. No frills family place, serving great l, "non-fussy" breakfast.

The space was redone with a casual dining room with tables & booths and hardwood flooring and decor on the walls. The lunch/dinner food menu offerings include BBQ, smoked & grilled meats, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, wings, salads, salad bar, soups, and Texas chili. They also have a weekend brunch menu with breakfast and BBQ fare. The prices here seem fair. I stopped by Frank's Place for an early dinner recently and dined-in. I got an ice water and decided on the BBQ Combo Sandwich with Truck Fries ($15 plus tax) and added the salad bar for $5 more. The salad bar has around 20 items including lettuce, vine ripe tomatoes, broccoli, cucumber, carrots, mushrooms, green peppers, egg, corn, beets, 4 cheeses, croutons, tuna salad, chicken salad, cantaloupe/melon, and dressings. The salad bar was fresh and the chicken salad was pretty good. The tray with the Combo BBQ Sandwich and golden fries arrived. The fries were very hot and crisp outside. The combo sandwich had beef brisket slices and a mound of soft pulled pork topped with a sweet spicy BBQ sauce on a soft toasted bun. There was minimal fat on the meats. I did get a togo box for some of the fries and sandwich. The server came over with a Spoton portable pay unit so I could settle up. There was a cash discount, so the total was slightly over $20 with tax and before tip. Overall, a good place to stop for a filling meal. I would stop by for brunch next time since they have a brisket scramble and pulled pork benedict on the brunch menu.

Our server, Chris, produced menus and took drink orders. Although I am a big fan of housemade corned beef hash (and Drago's is exceptional), I was intrigued by one of the numerous specials, "The Pastor" Benny. It consisted of two separate towers of sausage patty on the bottom, then potato pancake, with poached egg and hollandaise sauce on top...and several spices. It was amazing, like a tsunami hitting my taste buds. The potato concoction was perfect, as were the poached eggs. Two of my friends had Granby Oaks, and the 3rd had several ala carte items. All of us were members of the clean plate club. Chris was excellent and efficient, and kept us well-caffeinated. Overall, great food and service, and reasonable prices. One caution...if you come on weekends, probably call in advance to see if they take reservations. They get crowded. 5 pastor benny stars

My wife and I were headed in that general direction on an early Saturday morning and this was the spot I picked. I will say, going in, I knew that breakfast may take some time and that Drago's isn't what I'd call, "diner-quick." That was ok with me because I had time to kill before a loose 9am appointment. It took a bit for us to be acknowledged and seated but I was ok with that. Our waitress was warm and welcoming and though I knew what I was going to order before I even left the house, the specials she rattled off all sounded great. I am obsessed with biscuits and sausage gravy and knew it was on the menu. It's not only on the menu but the staff's shirts all mention the biscuit. DAMN that is a good biscuit. It's a HUGE cheddar and chive biscuit (big enough for a sandwich). Paired with the sausage gravy and my perfect over-medium eggs it was a wonderful meal. My wife had the French Dip benny which she liked but would not order again. She felt the roast beef was a little tough. Hers came with a "loaded potato cake" which was insanely delicious. It's about the size of a crab cake, made with shredded potatoes and was so, so good. Of note-reasonable prices, many vegan, vegetarian and GF options (including vegan meats and cheese). The lunch menu looks really tasty too. I will be back (and I will get both a biscuit and a loaded potato cake to go, in addition to another great meal).

Perhaps their other food is better than what I ordered, which was a combination grinder, but I have to say compared to others that I've had in the area, this seemed more like a 7-Eleven convenience store hoagie with its limited amounts of meat and cheese. The other thing that I'll mention )just because it seems to be a theme at every restaurant that I've been to around 8 PM in this town), everybody seems to be far more concerned about walking out the door two minutes before they're supposed to close is the impression they leave on guests now walk in 20 or 30 minutes before closing time. This will be the third time I've been to some quick family dining establishment in the area that I've had this experience-- I'm gonna offer management the same advice that I've offered to other establishments nearby: If there is a time of day that you want to leave work, you should close your business in whatever time it takes for you to clean in order to make that happen as opposed to risking guest walking in and being made to feel as if their inconveniencing everybody who works there for making the decision to go to your establishment to spend our money.
