Wow! I remember this as the Dairy Queen back in the day. Now it's an adorable casual restaurant. I came here on a Sunday morning with a friend. Neither of us had been here before. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. We noticed that even though the restaurant was quite full, it was not noisy. The decor is so cute and the server was a sweetheart! We both decided on the California eggs benny. What a cool idea to put the eggs on shredded home fries instead of those notoriously difficult to cut English muffins. This came with spinach, tomatoes, guacamole and sun-dried tomato hollandaise. Absolutely incredibly delicious! We also ordered rye toast which was toasted perfectly. The coffee was great too. Another amazing breakfast served by the forever friendly waiter Ethan. I tried the eggrolls stuffed with egg, sausage and cheese and served with a Thai chile sauce. Waiting for Costco to open, we headed to the Red Cabin. It was wonderful. The place was as warm as our reception (and sadly empty.) Nonetheless, we enjoyed a fabulous breakfast with many wonderful options. I feasted on the Lobster Benedict (oh, yes, not crab as the menu states), son enjoyed his chocolate chip pancakes (no surprise) and my wife had a light breakfast egg & veggies meal. At a breakfast restaurant, my one criteria is "Do they have plenty of marmalade on the table?" Yes, they did! Service was great and the food was delicious! Food was great. Service was wonderful. Our coffee cups were never empty. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The gentleman that brought out our breakfast was super kind and made us smile. We had a great breakfast here. Their home fries aren't deep fried but if you ask for extra crispy they put a nice sear that creates a crust with extra flavor on the potatoes. Pancakes were fluffy and cooked to perfection. French toast was delicious. Eggs cooked exactly how we ordered. Coffee was nice and strong and kept flowing. Atmosphere is nice. Very cozy and if there's not a large group it's on the quieter side. There was a big party of women that looked like a group of friends that got together for breakfast. They were so cute and fun to watch as they socialized. They brought a whole vibe to the restaurant. When they left it got really quiet with several tables of two eating. A solid breakfast spot with a little flair but a couple minor issues. Came here on a whim, looking for a good French toast close by. This place came up as an option, looked like a decent menu so I made the trek. It's a fairly large building with a decent sized dining room. The waitress got me sit at the bar and got me coffee. The coffee was weak, but bottomless so you could drink your fill. Only cold handle a cup with all my tricks. Was thinking their blueberry French toast would be good. That's my typical breakfast though. Instead opted for their priestly, with bananas with bacon and peanut butter. Food came out promptly and I dug in. They did some things very well, and I appreciate that they do them. They used a ripe banana and they warmed them up. It's surprisingly rare, from the places I have been. The peanut butter was nice and runny, and the Caramel helped keep everything sweet without needing syrup. Which is good, since the syrup was watery and their hash browns were under seasoned. The waiter fixed the hash after I commented, and they were better after. Still needed ketchup, used a little too much oil. They go cheap on a few things, but the chefs working with what he's got and is doing a pretty good job with it. With a slightly better drip coffee and the option to buy real maple syrup from a local sugar shack would help immensely. Right now it's a good place for the area. Hubs joined me again for breakfast at The Red Cabin. We were both debating on the French toast entrees so we decided to each get one so we could sample two. I ordered the Classic French toast (minus the powder sugar sprinkle) with a side of bacon. Three pieces of delicious French toast with just a sprinkle of cinnamon. I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish it! I like mine with just butter - no syrup. Bacon was cooked perfectly and was a good sized portion. The piece de resistance was the glorious Blueberry Boss French toast. OMG!!! Another work of art from Ricky's grill! Like I said previously, I am not one to have syrup with French toast or pancakes but THIS!! Imagine if you will.... two pieces of French toast stuffed with blueberries and cream cheese - oh, it is divine - topped with raspberry sauce & whipped cream. The filling is so creamy and surprisingly not overly sweet. It's just right! This tasted as wonderful as it looks! It is worth getting! As always, the service is excellent. I have passed by here for years, not quite knowing what to expect. I went out to breakfast with a family member recently, and they suggested red cabin because we had not been. I will tell you that I was pleasantly surprised. I got an omelette and she got some type of eggs Benedict. We were both commented on the portion of food, and definitely had some to take home! The food was extremely delicious, and the waitress we had was very sweet. The inside is very homey, and it does feel like you're in a farmhouse. Will definitely come back. read more

They actually have quite a good selection of food and the menu has some unique items. I just love a regular plain breakfast and the food is good. The service is alright. I've been here a few times and the staff is nice but can be a little more attentive. The main complaint for The Red Cabin is the disgusting carpet inside the restaurant. It smells god awful in there and it's because of the grease covered carpet. I live close by and probably would go more if they get rid of the carpet. I've driven by The Red Cabin many times when I lived in CT. Finally I had the chance to go in when I visited some friends this time. The exterior of the restaurant literally looks like a barn. I didn't know what to expect before walking in. Upon entry to the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was that the insider is smaller than I expected. However, it looked very homey. I got a veggie omelette, it came with home fries and toast. The omelette was good, a little too runny on the inside for my liking, but it didn't both me that much. The home fries were delicious. I couldn't even eat the toast because I got so full after just eating the omelette and some home fries. But the toast was crunchy and buttery, and that was a plus. They also have gluten free options in case anyone has allergies. There is only a few restaurants in the area that actually have gluten free options, so kudos to The Red Cabin! read more

Red Cabin! :) Red Cabin offers the standard breakfast fare with omelettes, pancakes etc. Walking in we were greeted immediately and seated promptly. I ordered: Sammie's special wrap 5 stars-- DELICIOUS!!! I don't remember the specifics, but it was eggs, cheese, bacon, and a light sauce in a grilled wrap which added a crispness to the wrap. Everything came together and it was amazing. It also came with some of the best home potatoes that I have ever tasted, seasoned perfectly!!!!! Service was amazing and attentive, no complaints there. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is b/c they charge almost $3 for a standard average cup of coffee which is just absurd. The customer at the end of the counter top where my friend & I sat said a friendly hometown hello. We were made to feel like we were special and that we came to the right place by your server, patron and the young cook that also took the time to check in. I agree that the coffee is weak and needs improvement. I'm not sure what makes it weak but I will avoid ordering coffee here again at 2.99. I would welcome a 1.99 bottomless, taste improved, future cup of coffee, however. Coffee is comparatively cheap and the regulars will come! I do understand a few of these reviewers constructive comments. At the same time, I emphatically respect the owners reply backs! I am the mother of an Executive Chef (yes, I'm proud) and I would think that her cook/cooks could benefit from an expert culinary instructor. For example, I read a few times about the home-fries/hash browns being oily. This is because the oil was not heated before the food was placed on top, pressed, chopped in, etc. This is a common novice error for a cook. As for eggs, I recommend a visual descriptive chart for guests to select from...because even, I, the mother of a chef, cannot quite articulate her own words sometimes! Your cooks must learn to achieve the proper result consistently to achieve consumer satisfaction. This is tricky...eggs require this expertise for sure. Taste, timing & delivery are critical. As for the seasoning aspect, I agree here, too. A touch of Cajun or onion and/or Italian blended seasoning would be great. I can appreciate the ownerships cost issues, Covid issues & the lack of employees post the pandemic. Yes, restaurants are struggling nowadays, as a result. Hang in there! It's been so long since I've been out for breakfast. I used to go out with my wife before kids almost every weekend. Then kids came along and it stopped. My first trip to breakfast in years happened at the Red Cabin and I'm so glad it did. My son and I went out for a guys morning. He ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and I ordered three fried eggs over easy, toast, homefries and sausage. My eyes might be too big. Or perhaps I'm just a pig. Either way, we were delighted with our meals. My 9 year old son's eyes went wide when he saw the huge fluffy pancakes and whipped cream. He could not finish them, it was so huge. My breakfast was good, though over easy came out over quite hard. The service was fantastic. These are people who clearly like working here and like making connections with their customers. My son said this is now his favorite place to get breakfast and I'm sure he will be begging me to go back soon. There are some she-she items on the menu so don't let appearances fool you. My lady friend and I were in for breakfast this morning. We both ordered the breakfast which included eggs, bacon, and pancakes. The pancakes had a sour taste to them so we ate only a very small portion of them. The bacon was limp, and had a very fatty taste to it, I only ate one piece of it as a result. The waitress was personable and friendly, but when told by us about the pancakes just took them away and said she would tell the cook. No offer was made if we would like something else in place of , nor was anything taken off our bill. Don't mind paying a little more for good food, but this definitely missed the mark today. Went to The Red Cabin this morning without much expectation. We had a fairly large party of 9 so I was not expecting top notch service as it is hard to always keep track of that many people. Waitress was nice but seemed to forget more than would be expected, no cream or milk with the coffee. My food was last to come out and looked great but it was a bit cold. Did not complain because at that point we needed to be out of there at a certain time and if they had to remake my food it didn't seem likely. Overall food was good, i had the RC quatro with french toast, scrambled eggs and bacon, my only wish is that it was hot when i got it so it would have been more enjoyable. We were charged twice for the bacon with my meal, because to sub bacon for the choice of ham or sausage is an extra $1.99. But when k brought up the fact that i was charged extra no one seemed to understand what i was saying. Simply put i was charged $4 instead of $2, not a difficult concept to grasp. What really impressed me (the last two visits) was the front end manager/waitress. She was very polite,efficient and friendly. Those three qualities are difficult to come by at busy restaurants. While I sat myself, she brought my drink and asked if I needed anything else while waiting for my lunch . I inquired if the newspaper was somewhere and she found the sports section for me! The Red Cabin reminds me of a little breakfast place I used to go to when I was in college. After a long night of flip cup, kings, boozeasaurus, and riding the bus with my good friend Bud Light, I could think of nothing better than a nice early morning (obviously I did not sleep on these nights) breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns, corned beef hash, toast, coffee, and OJ. I went here this morning after a night of light drinking and a good amount of sleep, so the allure of a butter/grease filled breakfast wasn't as strong as it has been in the past. Regardless, this place is less than a mile from my dad's house so I could roll out of bed and be there in 23 seconds. Summary: Fast, diner style service, and good food that comes out quickly. Coffee is cheap, strong, and bottomless. Juice (apple) was good - not a place you'd go if you were looking for a mimosa. I had two eggs over-easy, wheat toast, has browns, and corned beef hash. I was surprised - the corned beef hash didn't taste or look like the frozen uniformly tasting hash i've had before at various breakfast places / hotels. This one was different - and much more delicious. Besides that, everything else on my plate was good - slightly oily, buttery, and doused with ketchup goodness. My lady [who eats all sorts of weird stuff for breakfast] naturally chose to consume a chicken panini - heavy on the buttered toast and a very delicious chipotle mayo. Tasty tasty. Average breakfast place. Quiet atmosphere seemed to have a pretty regular crowd. Who I assumed was the manager/owner came around and talked to everyone which was really nice - he was very pleasant. Service was quick. I had the apple pie crepes. They weren't quite was I expected quality wise but they were okay. I should've tried the biscuits and gravy I'm curious about those. My friend had the blueberry French toast I think it was and enjoyed it. Small place. Didn't try eggs so can't speak to those. I have clearly had a different experience than some of the other reviewers. The Red Cabin is a great place to grab breakfast or lunch. My Mom and I go all the time. I have tried most of the menu and the vast majority of the food is exceptional. The hollandaise sauce is the best I have had at a dinner style restaurant. The plaza it's in doesn't look like much but don't judge this book by its cover! Lastly the wait staff is friendly and accommodating (Mom has some mobility issues and they are always good about finding a comfortable spot for her). While I've tried most of the menu, my go tos are the Mr. Presley with real maple syrup, the Eggs Benedict, and the Biscuits and Gravy are all excellent!!! read more
