Loved my experience at Far Niente! The outdoor scenery makes you feel like you're living in a real-life fairytale! The service and wine was chef's kiss!

Far niente was my favorite wine tasting I did on my trip! The tour was very informative and it was very nice to see the underground area where they store the wine. I am not really a red wine girly but I thought the red wine at Far niente was surprisingly good paired with the cheeses that come with the tasting. Everybody was very nice and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! Would highly recommend if you are in Napa!

A friend recommended we go to Far Niente, so we couldn't wait to visit with a tour and tasting! Arriving on the property was so beautiful! The floral gardens throughout that are so serene. We were greeted with a tasting of Chardonnay and then started the tour. It was neat because their tour goes underground and ends in the original house on the property, so you get all the history. We enjoyed all the wine paired perfectly with a variety of cheeses, crackers, and dried fruit - YUM! Our tour guide was phonemail, answering all our questions and not rushing us through the process. Such a great time here!

Beautiful and fabulous wine. Cheese plate was fine but nothing remarkable. Went with a member so didn't see the cave. Grounds, building and cars were an added bonus. We went on a rainy day and it was still stunning.

One of our favorite wineries on our second trip to Napa! The grounds are breathtaking, and the wine measures up. We loved it enough to order some bottles. Service was excellent. We enjoyed a private tasting with a view of the landscaping. It was relaxing. The cheese pairing was great as well.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with a pour of wine by a kind gentleman at check in--such a nice touch! My husband David and I had a private tasting with John, who was amazing-super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience feel special. The tasting included a delicious cheese pairing, a tour of the wine caves, and a stroll through their beautiful spring gardens. I'm usually a red wine girl, but their Chardonnay really surprised me-it was smooth and refreshing. We ended up taking home two bottles: their Cabernet and Pinot Noir. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and high-end Napa experience!

An incredible wine tasting experience. The venue is the best in all of Napa valley in my opinion, with many benches and walk paths to stroll and soak in the quaintness of the grounds. Jill was such a great host, told us about all the history of the venue and educated us of the wine & cheese pairings. Pairings were perfect! The cabs were all outstanding, and the Dulce desert wine paired with blue cheese was hands down the best wine and cheese combo I've had. If you're going to do multiple wineries in a trip, definitely leave a little extra time for this one to walk around the property and take some photos.

If you love plants (like I do), this place is heaven

We just left our first visit to Far Niente. The property is absolutely stunning and the staff is all SO nice, not an ounce of pretention. The wine is really good too, but it's the people and the ambiance that really make the experience. Our host Stephanie was so much fun and the tour was very informative and interesting. What a wonderful surprise. I think it was the most expensive tasting we've ever done but absolutely worth it.

Far Niente winery features a beautiful setting and a decent selection of wines, but is definitely overrated. The grounds are lovely, but the staff was just okay, which detracted from the experience. While the wines are pleasant, they don't really stand out compared to other options. I did attend with a wine club member, so there were different pours offered. But I would have expected a better experience at the member area.

We made reservations for a 2:30 pm tour of Far Niente and the drive is absolutely gorgeous. Cynthia checked us in and she's lovely and so welcoming!! Our tour guide is very knowledgeable and she is taking us for a walk through the vineyard.

This place has been on my bucket list for quite a while, and I finally had the opportunity to visit. We did not do the cave tour and tasting, but we did do a guided private winetasting in the main house. What a outstanding experience! We sat in a private room that overlooked Oakville from up high, and you can't beat that view. With the class and outstanding wines this had everything from a high end experience. but to top it off, our wine guide was fabulous. Engaging and conversational, not snobbish, but full of knowledge and recommendations. I can't take this place off my bucket list until I go into the wine caves however, so I have an excuse to come back!

Loved the cave tour and tasting here! But warning, it is pricey. Sadly, I did not enjoy any of the wines we tasted but our host Stephanie was super friendly, the property was gorgeous (tons of breathtaking views and photos to take), the tour was fun and interesting, which included going through their cave, and the food pairing was fun. Would recommend if you're looking for a beautiful estate with a fun tour!

We had a wonderful experience at Far Niente! Darlene did a fantastic job showing us the property and educating us on the wines. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Will definitely return!

What should we wear? Dressy, Casual or something different?

Like all wineries in Napa Valley, it's best to arrive for wine tasting in Napa Chic attire, aka a blend of dressy and casual. Darker denim is acceptable.

I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back!

And you know what happens when the gals be drinkin'! Mm hmm... we got a bit excited and little loud. However, Antoine handled our large party well and we so appreciated him for it. Speaking of rowdy; this is definitely a tasting room with a youthful glow. There aren't crazy drunks and it's not super loud, but it seems like this is where the larger groups like to hang out and truly have a kick back time. It's just fun! It's a fun time. Their patio is all the rave. There were several other large parties tasting out on the patio as well that day. Their indoor tasting room is really cute. There's a smallish tasting bar inside, but the patio area is nestled amongst their lovely vineyards. The photo opportunities are endless, and Antoine was nice enough to snap some photos of us during our visit. When it comes to the wines, I definitely enjoyed their white wines more than their reds. I loved their Gewurtztraminer and their Sauvignon Blanc was tasty too. The red wines that we tasted were just okay. Even their $150 Cab Sauv tasted a bit young, but just my personal opinion.
