This was one of our favorite wineries that we tasted at on our trip to Napa. They have a lovely Pinot Noir that we loved along with a red blend that we purchased a bottle of. Nice quiet area and space. We would go back. Make a reservation for sure.

Amy took great care of us, and their wines were exceptional! She gave us a taste of Aeros, which was so good!

I found out about Goosecross from Reddit as a few others mentioned and we made a day trip out of it. Boy am I glad we did. This winery is tucked away in Yountville so you may just blink and miss it but you'd be doing youself a diservice. The property itself is just the right size for an intimate experience while also having room to yourself. Service was awesome as we got the explanations of each wine but our host took time to just sit down and chat with us as well. The wines are delicious. The Sauv Blanc, Pinot and C. Elizabeth were our favorites and we ended up grabbing a bottle of each because we enjoyed them so much. They also were a hit when we opened them with friends. We also were there right after the harvest, or maybe during, so we had a chance to see them throw grapes into the extractor which was a nice touch. Highly Recommend!

We visited back in September and I'm finally getting around to leaving all of my reviews. We ended up being 10 or 15 minutes late to our tasting because we stayed over at our tasting at Eleven Eleven Winery. We had called ahead to let them know and they were very kind and still kept our reservation for us. We did the Patio Tasting and loved all of the wines. I believe our host was Kitty and she was super nice! We ended up purchasing a bottle of the Branta to ship back home with some other wines we had. The view of the vineyards was beautiful and they had a lot of lovely plants and flowers around the patio as well. We enjoyed visiting and would come back again!

Goosecross Cellars was our first stop out of four on our Alluvium Wine Tour. It was a beautiful place, with a lovely back patio set amid the grape vines. Our host was so delightful and shared wonderful stories about the wine and the winery. Since this was our first stop, she also provided some insight into how to pace ourselves throughout the day. Great advice, though I'm not sure we stuck to her recommendation! LOL We loved the wine and the tasting experience. By the time we were finished and ready to move on, we ordered a case and looked forward to enjoying the great wines served up at Goosecross Cellars. I highly recommend stopping here for a tasting.

Incredible experience - excellent views and awesome wines. Our host was Antoine and he was a blast - top notch service through and through. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and this was one of our favorite stops through Napa - can't wait to come back.

Never knew this place existed till my friend suggested it for a wine tasting in Yountville. We were lucky to come here during a sunny day in the Fall so it was so beautiful just to sit outside enjoying wine with spectacular views of the estate vineyards and the Mayacamas Mountain Range. Fall and Spring are definitely my favorite seasons to visit Napa Valley. Living for the Fall foliage! It was so nice that they had prepared our table ahead of time with a customized tasting menu and our friend's name was on it. It's the little things that matter. The tasting was ok. We were introduced to 4 different types of wine. I didn't care too much for it and their pours were more on the lighter side. They didn't even spend a lot of time talking much about wine either. Maybe because they knew we weren't wine experts? Compared to other wineries I've been to, it was on the pricier side for $50/person plus tax and tips it came out to be $60/person. I'm not sure I'll be back any time soon but it was nice to check it out.

I'm so thankful to have found Goosecross in a Reddit thread about wineries with a view in Yountville. It's totally worth driving a few minutes from downtown Yountville to visit this gem. They are so welcoming and knowledgeable- definitely one of the more relaxed and entertaining tastings we've experienced! It's nice that they reserve a patio table for your group with a view of the vineyard and mountains. Don't sleep on the wines either! We went home with a great red blend and a nice summery sauvignon blanc. Ask for Antoine!

Amazing venue, amazing wine. I would definitely consider their wine club membership if I were in the area. I came here on a Napa girls day during my trip back to the Bay. I came back and told my bf we have to try it together when we're both back in the area. I'm usually not a red wine girl but I enjoyed all their reds. The property is gorgeous, you can walk out into the vineyard and take pictures. It is also very peaceful and I think it's because they do a great job at booking and don't overcrowd. They personalize the tasting with the name of the person who booked it which I thought was a nice touch. My gf's and I enjoyed our time here. Def on my return list.

Heavily red wine, so this was never going to be my favorite as I prefer white wines. The only white they have is a chardonnay that they gave as a welcome taste. Fortunately it wasn't buttery which meant I could just keep drinking it. But the service, environment, and vibe are top notch. Superb. The woman who hosted us was delightful and she was so accommodating to my preference of white wines. We were the last people there but nobody was rushing us and they kept providing breadsticks which my wife loved. It was such a wonderful experience that even though the wines weren't for me, I have to give Goosecross 5 stars.

How much for a wine tasting? Can't seem to find it on their website.

Alyssa, I am sorry we don't have it posted on our website. Our tastings are $40/person and you usually taste 4-5 wines. Hope that helps!

On this most recent experience, I was invited to attend with 2 friends who are both wine club members and I have to say, I was watching how others were hosted as we were all seated at tables with our parties fairly close to one another and I have to say, the experiences were similar in style, with a bit more TLC for the wine club member experience, but all in all, if I need another membership, this is one I'd consider as I love Sparkling wine and the service was not pretentious or rushed in any way. I felt very comfortable and the vibes were all positive. The selection of flights were great and a reasonable price point. If I had friends who were visiting and wanted a Napa County experience, this is one I would definitely recommend. They have updated their tasting spaces and have so many different areas that even on a busy day, it doesn't feel crowded or overwhelming.

The price tag versus what you get is off - our wine host didnt bother to pour us anything when we sat down (it took around 15 mins to get a glass of wine) - once we did get wine, it was off to the races. The wine is great, but is clear that Chandon is more interested in their club membership than the experience. The second we finished our tasting experience, the entire thing shifted from "taste our wine" to "buy into our wine club". It was a sudden, very jarring change. I have had better experiences with pushy time share sellers than Chandon salespeople. At least with them, I get a gift card, park tickets or a hotel stay. I got. Nothing from Chandon. Chamdon will always be my favorite wine, but for a sparkling experience, I am going to find another winery to visit or go attend a timeshare presentation where at least I get something for sitting through the annoying sales presentation.

The award for best array of wines ever offered at a tasting goes to The Yount Room…read more Let me clarify: this is an award I've created, in my own head. I like wine (reds, specifically) and those featured here were the most aromatic and enjoyable lot I've ever sampled. Having been a one-time member of Conn Creek I received an invitation to a (complimentary) tasting here, as they morphed from Cornerstone Cellars into The Yount Room. The Yount Room features Cornerstone wines but also the wines of others lacking tasting rooms, including some like Conn Creek, whose tasting room was lost in the fires. Situated in Yountville's historic old railway station, the interior space is a stylish hybrid tasting room/retail space. A record player and a stack of vinyl called out and host exemplar, Sean, was agreeable to spinning whatever we (the sole customers at the time) requested. Stones hits played to a Bossa Nova beat and Memphis lilts from Dusty Springfield made the visit quite perfect but without such perfect wines it'd be a lot less so. The Yount Room does tastings as well as wines by the glass and I can't wait to return for the latter. I don't know what's on their "by the glass" list but if it's anything like what was served at the tasting* it'd be impossible to go astray. * Tasting included: - Hibou, 2024 Sauvignon Blanc, Winemaker: Keith Emerson - Status Quo, 2024 Pinot Noir, Winemaker: Adam Lee - Cornerstone, 2021 Cabernet Franc, Winemaker: Kari Arranger - Cain, 2021 Cain Fire, Winemaker: Chris Howell - Conn Creek, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Winemaker: Jean Hoeflinger
