Shout to Manny!!!
Jenica P.

Celebrated my birthday here recently and had the best time!!! I was searching for a place that could accommodate a large group (10 people) in the main Yountville area on a Sunday, and this was the ideal spot. Parking was easy as well! First and foremost, the service here is beyond exceptional, starting with the initial booking (I forgot the representative's name but she gave me great tips for restaurants around the area and was super patient when finalizing my reservation)! Also, special shoutout to Manny, who hosted our tasting--He shared his expertise and selected such refreshing wines, which was perfect for all the first-time wine-tasters! We had started with the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, followed by the 2023 Chardonnay, 2022 GSM, then lastly the 2021 Tartan. We even had an extra pour of bubbles, which was super nice! Everything was tasty, but the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc was the favorite--ended up purchasing a couple of bottles. Since we were a large group, they were able to seat us in the library which was such a charming and spacious area (complete with its own private bathroom too!). The outside area was great for photo opps as well! The price per person was ~$65 for a large group, not including a 20% included gratuity. If you're in the area, please check out Stewart Cellars, they're an absolute gem. Thank you to Manny and the team for making this an unforgettable experience!!!

We joined a local couple who are big wine lovers for a tasting at Stewart Cellars. Although my friend had not experienced their wine, she was impressed it made an exclusive list of wineries to try. To say we were wowed is an understatement. First, the wines were incredibly good. Second, the tasting room was beautiful and intimate. And third, Manny, our wine concierge, was masterful in helping us appreciate the Stewart Cellars difference. We felt a warm welcome with a menu featuring our host's name and having small slices of cheese and meat to sample with the wine. Manny reminded us to taste the wine first, then the cheese and then both at the same time. Beyond his wine smarts, Manny was a warm and engaging host who made this tasting so special. We shared many a laugh with him. One of our guests said he was a "hoot!" We were so impressed that we joined their wine club before we left. Yum!

Cabernet flight (getting started) and estate caviar option for snacking

A great place to pop in if you are in Yountville. They have a few different flight options but my husband chose the Cabernet Sauvignon flight option. I was just enjoying the vibes since I'm pregnant so I was living vicariously through him. But it was actually really nice to hear him describe the wines to me know what my general preferences are. They offer caviar options ($80/$120) or a $20 cheese plate. A lot of great seating options both indoor and outdoor. There is some shared space with another eatery but Stewart Cellars has a fantastic and serene set up so you don't feel like it's crowded or your space is limited. We also love that you can have your dog outside. There is parking in the back for customers which if you frequent Yountville- parking can be tough. They do have options to make reservations which I assume would be recommended for larger groups or peak days. Would/will definitely visit again when I can enjoy a flight myself.

Wine list

I'm not even sure where to begin! The wine is fantastic, and the service impeccable. We held a private event here for 95 of our closest friends who flew in for our wedding at the Estate Hotel, and to say things went perfectly would be an understatement. Shelby did an outstanding job and was very responsive during the planning process. Manny, the wine educator, made everyone feel comfortable (even the non-wine drinkers) and created a fun atmosphere when we arrived. The General Manager was also very accommodating, making us feel special during the event. All in all, we'll be back time and time again, not just for the great wine but the great people that operate this establishment.

What started as a booking hiccup became the highlight of our visit, thanks to David, equal parts concierge, educator, and consummate host. He treated us like regulars, carved out extra time to spend with us, and used his deep industry knowledge to guide an extended varietal flight that hit every note. From the zesty Sauvignon Blanc to the elegant Cabernets, each pour told a story and delivered on flavor. The courtyard atmosphere and tasting room create a genuinely welcoming experience. We'll definitely be back.

What a great find. We thought this is a great overall expereince. Wines are good good to very good wines at reasonably prices. Lots of options. I thought their Tartan Cab was a great value. Very friendly wait staff. Reasonable wine club, $230 for 6 bottles twice a year. Pours were around $40, but you get credit for buying or joining. The pours were substantial, and not tiny whiffs. We were offered to revisit any we liked. This didn't feel like a McDonalds of tasting so common in Napa these days. They were so friendly. No pretentious behavior here. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon, but the staff didn't seem burned out after a long weekend of wine drinkers. Beautiful facility.

Stewart Cellars was recommended to me by the staff at Jessup Cellars. The two locations are also right next to each other so it was a short walk after our planned tasting at Jessup. Stewart offers a small but robust selection of wines. Highlights from the tasting were the Chardonnay and the "Tartan" Red Blend. The featured Chardonnay on the tasting menu isn't overly buttery, and strikes a good balance of oak and a chablis style wine. The Tartan Red Blend has good fruity notes and isn't overpowered by oak or tannins. Solid everyday red wine. The tasting came with a cheese board with two types of cheese, craisins, nuts, crackers, and a fig jam. The cheeses paired very well with the wines. Other notes: My parents accompanied me on the tasting and ended up joining the club. Can't wait to go back!

Manny Lopez is a gem. My first visit to Stewart Cellars but my second trip to Napa and an afternoon at Stewart was just what we needed. There were 5 in our group and we snuggled up by the outdoor fireplace with some blankets and settled in for a treat. Manny guided us through a fantastic tasting, my absolute faves were the Sauvignon Blanc, the Pino Noir (lovely rich, and smooth with the dark berries) and the fabulous Tartan. 10/10 I highly recommend this winery, let Manny guide you through your selections - he won't steer you wrong. We left with several bottles, and I cannot wait to return.

Brett was the most amazing host - very attentive - so personable and so knowledgeable. We were so impressed with his depth of knowledge and detailed explanations. We will be back!

I've done a handful of tastings in Yountville over the last couple years and haven't been impressed with the overall service, however Stewart Cellars was excellent! The wine was so good, and very reasonably priced. We loved everything we tried so we became members. Our server, Ashley was fantastic and I took her card so we could request her in the future. This was hands down the best tasting experience we've had in Napa and will definitely be back!

The caviar experience is worth it! Their private tasting room is great for a relaxing event. Nomad wine is especially tasty. Our host was attentive without being intrusive.

Wine & Cheese Tasting

Beautiful ambiance! We made a reservation a few days before for a Wine & Cheese Tasting and our table was set up and ready for us when we walked through the door. Came here to celebrate a birthday and they even customized our menu cards to say "Happy Birthday". Our host Brett was attentive without being intrusive and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

AC blasting in the main tasting room, lots of comfortable outdoor seating under umbrellas to taste during the warm summer days. Ashley was our host the morning we decided to visit. She made us feel welcome, talked us through everything, gave us some additional pours to try out some of their reds side by side and the cheese/fruit plate is worth sharing and pairing with the wines they were pouring. Their wines are good, not the best that I've had, but definitely fun tasting what this winery/tasting room had to offer. Ended up getting a bottle of the 2020 Sonoma Mountain Rose 2020 and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc to bring back to the pool since we were staying close by.

Is there a restaurant or cafe on site and are reservations required? We want to just have lunch with a glass of wine. We would love to do wine tasting another time. Thank you

Is the patio dog friendly? I have a small 5 pound puppy I'm hoping to bring up while I enjoy my wine?

Yes, we are dog friendly in our outdoor courtyard/patio! Be sure to let us know when you arrive if you need a water bowl for your pup, we’ll be happy to provide one with cool, fresh water if you like!

Do they serve wine by the glass? If so, can you have it on the patio? Thanks!

On this most recent experience, I was invited to attend with 2 friends who are both wine club members and I have to say, I was watching how others were hosted as we were all seated at tables with our parties fairly close to one another and I have to say, the experiences were similar in style, with a bit more TLC for the wine club member experience, but all in all, if I need another membership, this is one I'd consider as I love Sparkling wine and the service was not pretentious or rushed in any way. I felt very comfortable and the vibes were all positive. The selection of flights were great and a reasonable price point. If I had friends who were visiting and wanted a Napa County experience, this is one I would definitely recommend. The price tag versus what you get is off - our wine host didnt bother to pour us anything when we sat down (it took around 15 mins to get a glass of wine) - once we did get wine, it was off to the races. The wine is great, but is clear that Chandon is more interested in their club membership than the experience. The second we finished our tasting experience, the entire thing shifted from "taste our wine" to "buy into our wine club". It was a sudden, very jarring change. I have had better experiences with pushy time share sellers than Chandon salespeople. At least with them, I get a gift card, park tickets or a hotel stay. I got. Nothing from Chandon. Chamdon will always be my favorite wine, but for a sparkling experience, I am going to find another winery to visit or go attend a timeshare presentation where at least I get something for sitting through the annoying sales presentation.

The award for best array of wines ever offered at a tasting goes to The Yount Room…read more Let me clarify: this is an award I've created, in my own head. I like wine (reds, specifically) and those featured here were the most aromatic and enjoyable lot I've ever sampled. Having been a one-time member of Conn Creek I received an invitation to a (complimentary) tasting here, as they morphed from Cornerstone Cellars into The Yount Room. The Yount Room features Cornerstone wines but also the wines of others lacking tasting rooms, including some like Conn Creek, whose tasting room was lost in the fires. Situated in Yountville's historic old railway station, the interior space is a stylish hybrid tasting room/retail space. A record player and a stack of vinyl called out and host exemplar, Sean, was agreeable to spinning whatever we (the sole customers at the time) requested. Stones hits played to a Bossa Nova beat and Memphis lilts from Dusty Springfield made the visit quite perfect but without such perfect wines it'd be a lot less so. The Yount Room does tastings as well as wines by the glass and I can't wait to return for the latter. I don't know what's on their "by the glass" list but if it's anything like what was served at the tasting* it'd be impossible to go astray. * Tasting included: - Hibou, 2024 Sauvignon Blanc, Winemaker: Keith Emerson - Status Quo, 2024 Pinot Noir, Winemaker: Adam Lee - Cornerstone, 2021 Cabernet Franc, Winemaker: Kari Arranger - Cain, 2021 Cain Fire, Winemaker: Chris Howell - Conn Creek, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Winemaker: Jean Hoeflinger

I came here with a large group of ladies and we really enjoyed ourselves. Antoine was our host and we had so much fun with him! He kept us on our toes during our entire tasting. He made us laugh, told us interesting stories, and also explained each wine that we were tasting. I wouldn't say that our group was rowdy.... but we were drankin'. And you know what happens when the gals be drinkin'! Mm hmm... we got a bit excited and little loud. However, Antoine handled our large party well and we so appreciated him for it. Speaking of rowdy; this is definitely a tasting room with a youthful glow. There aren't crazy drunks and it's not super loud, but it seems like this is where the larger groups like to hang out and truly have a kick back time. It's just fun! It's a fun time. Their patio is all the rave. There were several other large parties tasting out on the patio as well that day. Their indoor tasting room is really cute. There's a smallish tasting bar inside, but the patio area is nestled amongst their lovely vineyards. The photo opportunities are endless, and Antoine was nice enough to snap some photos of us during our visit. When it comes to the wines, I definitely enjoyed their white wines more than their reds. I loved their Gewurtztraminer and their Sauvignon Blanc was tasty too. The red wines that we tasted were just okay. Even their $150 Cab Sauv tasted a bit young, but just my personal opinion. My group and I really had a blast tasting here. I will definitely come back for a future tasting when I'm back in Yountville.
