Fun visit to Peju for a tasting. Very nice garden area with sculptures to sit in and enjoy the scenery. Jim our host was so welcoming and informative. We really enjoyed our visit. The wines were so very good!

I've driven past Peju many times and finally stopped in after admiring the iconic pink tower for years. The service was good, and we were even offered extra pours beyond the listed tasting, which was appreciated. That said, the wine just wasn't for me. Taste is subjective, but none of the wines really suited my palate, and I didn't care for any enough to revisit.. hence the three stars, though I debated two. Nice setting and friendly staff, but the wine itself was a letdown for my taste.

Perú was beautiful inside and out. Every person we came in contact with had wonderful customer service, they greeted us right away and asked if there was anything they could help us with the moment we walked in. We were welcomed by Nicole, who explained the walk-in availability and tasting options. After that, we waited about 10 minutes for the standing wine-tasting station. Our tasting was with Robert, who was amazing funny, personable, and made the whole experience feel like we were enjoying wine with friends and family. Afterward, I purchased some wine, and if you buy three bottles or more during your tasting, they even waive the tasting fee. 10/10 experience will be visiting again

I had such a positive experience at PEJU. We did a wine tasting here and can say it was probably one of my favorites of the weekend. Based on a recommendation, we really wanted to try their 50-50 wine and it was definitely worth the trip. We even ended up taking some home because it was that good!

Update: The Director of Hospitality invited us back for the chef's tasting experience. Deanna was our host and she was warm, attentive, and made the visit genuinely enjoyable. We started with a short tour, which offered a nice look at the vineyard and Mrs. Peju's estate. While it doesn't erase our initial experience, it did create a much stronger second impression. The elevated experience was worth the visit.

This was my second time visiting Peju on a Sunday afternoon and it was just as good as the last time I was there. We had a group of five for the classic tasting and had a great table at the end of the hall. Our wine educator was Deanna and she really made us feel at home. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tasting really enjoyable. There were five wines on our list but we got a chance to try some special ones such as the EXP and the Province. I ended up discovering that the Cabernet Franc was my favorite this time around. Peju once again exceeded my expectations and I'll definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I unexpectedly walked into Peju Winery and ended up having the BEST time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated so well. The hospitality was incredible, and Niccole and her staff took such great care of us, they truly made the experience feel special and personal. I've always loved this wine, but this visit made me love the winery even more! We will always come back to this place since they take such good care of you, and we're more than happy to support them again and again. We'll definitely be back 100% recommend!

Peju was so fun to experience, I can't remember the girls name, but she was so delightful and very gracious on her pores. We enjoyed some dark chocolate as we sit away on their fantastic wines which of course we had to buy take home. The grounds are gorgeous. It was a cloudy kind of a rainy day, but we had a very cozy experience in their tasting room. All the wines are delicious . We highly recommend you make a reservation . you will absolutely love your experience.

Went in on a a Saturday afternoon for a classic wine tasting and tried six of their wines in the tasting room. While we were enjoying our tasting, the owner came by with her dogs, Fluffy and Mighty, who were absolutely adorable. We wandered around the property with a glass of their sparkling rosé, taking in the gardens and sculptures. It felt whimsical! Ended up getting a couple more glasses and ordered two bottles to ship home!

Walk-ins are welcome-ish. Walked in at 1pm on a Tuesday and couldn't be accommodated. Politely asked us to try the next day. It was worth a try. Learned the hard way that you need reservations everywhere. Too bad we didn't get seated. Our good friends sent us here. Because of our friend's strong recommendation we still opted to purchased two bottles of their 2018 Cabernet reserve for $150 each and walked away.

We went to Peju in between other reservations, as they took walk ins. I'm so glad we stopped by! The outside was gorgeous. Had a castle-like feel, reminiscent of an Italian countryside. The server at the counter was amazing. He was happy to give plenty of small pours to try their different wines out. Each glass was $25, but he suggested buying a bottle for $40 to take home instead. I really appreciated him looking out for us. We took the Province home. He said they're the only winery in Napa that does a red and white blend. I like reds and my partner likes whites, so it was a perfect middle ground for us! I would definitely want to come here for an official tasting next time I'm in town

A Family Legacy That Feels Like Home - Peju Winery Over the years, Peju Winery has become more than just a stop on our Napa visits--it's a place woven into our memories. From the moment we first stepped onto the property, we felt the warmth of a true family legacy. A few years ago, the matriarch, Herta herself, graciously introduced herself to us, a gesture that left a lasting impression. This time, the next generation stepped in with just as much heart. Lisa, one of the daughters now carrying the torch, came over, signed our bottles, and even took photos with us. Who does that? Peju does. It's rare to find a winery where the experience goes beyond the tasting room and becomes something unforgettable. Thank you, Peju, for making us feel like part of your story. We'll cherish these moments--and the wine--for years. JV and Fam.

great ambiance, excellent service, let's not forget the spectacular wines! We LOVE Sarah!! We actually indulged in 2 tastings, had to go back for more ....lol If you are able to enjoy a chef's tasting, Chef Nic is wonderful. Walked us around the herb garden so we could sample his fresh herbs. The pairing was spot on: ahi, burata with balsamic pearls, brie with truffles, pork bellly, and steak tartare....yum ...yum The wines paired well and flavor profiles varied with the foods. A few days later, we returned for a tasting. Cheese plate really highlights the wines and, of course, the wines we tasted were spectacular. We even had the opprotunity to meet HB and Sarah Fowler. If you've never visited Peju, make some time on your next visit! They are one of the best Napa wineries and one of last to be family owned.

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.
