Another visit and just wanted to thank Alpha Omega again. Most notably Andrew. My Wife and I invited some friends for a first time visit. We also sat outside on the terrace for the first time since it was a gorgeous day. Andrew made all of feel so welcome. Our guests really enjoyed the whole experience. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable, funny, and also helpful with other local things to do in the area. First class all the way. Thanks again!

Family-friendly winery! :) Made reservations here since we had plans to take our kids to Napa for the weekend. We had the outdoor seating and it was very relaxing! We had a nice view of the waterfall and vineyards behind. Husband and I both enjoyed a tasting each while our kids played around on the grass area. Our hostess also brought out crayons and color pages for my younger ones. Service here is great, very generous and welcoming.

Will start off by saying this winery definitely has a great focus on hospitality. Our host was fantastic and they are really generous with their pours and let you adjust the tastings based on what you like. They even give you some additional pours as well, which we loved. We sat next the fountain with our dogs. The atmosphere was so vibrant and lively when we got there. The wines were all good - definitely on the pricier side of things but overall great experience

Beautiful winery, nice little tasting area. Alpha Omega is a very speakable winery with a lovely selection of wines for everyone. If you're into wine they do it good but not spectacular...very friendly beginner wine tasting experiences. If you're new to wine Alpha Omega is perfect. Beautiful location to just lounge with your wine and enjoy a valley afternoon.

We had a wonderful experience at Alpha Omega. We did a wine tasting in the afternoon and sat on the outdoor patio, which was lovely, with a view of the fountain and the vineyards. The tasting was as pleasant as the ambience- wines were really amazing, and Carl gave us information to guide our tastes. The pours were at just the right pace, and we did not feel rushed. They even allowed us to bring our dog which was so wonderful- and she got a bowl of water and a treat so sweet! We will be back soon! Thanks Alpha Omega!

beautiful setting and upscale feel...came with no reservations...different tastings available and selected the $75 per person tasting experience...this included whites and reds...enter and taken to the courtyard to a seating area that can fit two families together...greeted by staff and provided some thin round wafers and water...very plain, but slightly savory...wines poured with an explanation...all wines are mainly private sales to patrons...pours are quite heavy and the glasses start to pile up...you get more than what is listed on the tasting....if you finish the tasting and all glasses, you'll probably be buzzing like a bee...if you buy wine, the tasting fee is waived...most of the bottles are about $80 per bottle, but they had a case of 12 bottles for $500 deal...it was a no brainer and we bought the 12 bottles for $500 and got all the tasting fees waived...

The grounds are stunning, and the staff is welcoming and attentive, that's just pulling in to valet. The property is so beautiful and well taken care of. The views are top notch. Ian really took care of us- knowledgeable, friendly, and he you can see he genuinely enjoys what he does. The tastings ranged from $75 to $125, each glass was impressive. We ended up purchasing two bottles of Chardonnay which I was surprised how much I liked since I normally like Sauvignon Blanc. Such a great experience. A must try...

We've driven by this winery many times and always admired the beautiful fountains, so on a recent trip we planned a tasting here. The place is even more grand and beautiful when you get to it from the main road. The staff was helpful and friendly and our wine educator, Andrew was great at explaining the wines and what the winery does to make them. The wines we tried were pretty good, though they're very proud of their wines here (very expen$ive). Definitely a pretty venue to sit & sip by the fountains too.

Came here with two friends and I'm pretty sure we sampled every red wine they had--twice over. The wines were great across the board: rich, smooth, and well-balanced. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, and the vibe was exactly what you want in Napa--laid back, scenic, and classy without being pretentious. We got a full tour of the facility, including the barrel room (which looked like something straight out of a wine lover's dream). But hands down, the highlight of the entire tasting wasn't just the wine--it was our server casually lifting 15+ wine glasses with one hand like a sommelier magician. I caught it on video because honestly, it was iconic. After all the sipping, swirling, and savoring, I passed out on the ride home. Zero regrets. Would definitely come back for the wine, the service, and the one-handed glass stunt.

As a studying wine nerd, this is a must stop! Amazing service and very knowledgeable staff. And of course. The wines are a 10/10 Big shot out to Moe who made my birthday extra special when we stopped by!

This was our last stop on our trip. They were open for New Year's Day and were able to squeeze our party of eight in on the covered patio area. The welcome wine was delicious and it got better from there. Everything that we had was outstanding. So much so that we became members. They are definitely in the running for our favorite winery. We will be back every time that we come back. Highly recommend!

This is easily one of my favorite wineries! The grounds are stunning, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. They offer valet parking, and the staff was always ready to refill our water, provide more crackers, and pour our next tasting. The tastings ranged from $75 to $125, but each glass was delicious. We ended up purchasing four bottles of wine, which waived our tasting fee. Bonus: the winery is dog-friendly!

Ask the Community - Alpha Omega

Is wine tasting by appointment only?

Aowinery.com indicates reservations recommended. I would recommend calling ahead of you want outdoor space by the water as it's most desired. Website says to call 707-963-9999, email also available reservations@aowinery.com

Hi, just wondering what if we have someone that comes along but doesn't drink, do we have to declare/ pay for tasting for that person also or can I just make reservation for just the number of people that will do tasting only?

You only have to pay for tastings for those who are actually doing the tasting.

Are children allowed on the property?

Yes they are

Can we bring our own food/ charcuterie board?

No you can't, unfortunately. We have brought chocolate though to share among friends/family to pair with their yummy red wine.

How much for their wine tasting?

$60 - $150 for non-members depending on the flight. All the info is available on their website. https://www.aowinery.com/Visit-Alpha-Omega/Private-Tasting

I am a white wine connoisseur because of my dietary restrictions with most ingredients in red wines, especially cherries and plum, that trigger my stomach pain and headaches. I have missed enjoying red wine because of this. I was hoping and praying that when my friends who are members of PEJU planned this wine tasting treat, that my stomach and head would be fine and to my surprise, my palate, tongue, stomach and heart were pleased with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Fifty/Fifty, and more, including reserve reds Todd served and educated us about! I have NEVER enjoyed red wines like these I tasted at PEJU. Since the time of our outstanding wine tasting experience, I have recommended and raved about Todd and PEJU winery to friends and family who appreciate and value high quality wines and winery experiences. It felt like a vacation getaway being in the tasting room building, admiring the breathtaking stained glass art, all of the art inside and the beautiful art and nature views outside. I appreciate the PEJU staff and management team who welcomed us and were kind to us all the way to the end of our wine tasting experience when we left. This is the kind of treatment that makes us want to return. Napa is a special place for friends, family, and me, and PEJU is now an indelible memory in my Napa adventures! Todd clearly enjoys his important professional position, is passionate about wine and the wine experience, and brings so much joy to customers! I can't recommend him and PEJU enough! Todd went above and beyond to give us a VIP experience and even gave me a bag full of wine corks for my art project after I told him about this and asked for some of their wine corks we saw lined up in their wine uncorking and pouring area. Thank you, Todd!

The grounds are gorgeous inside and out, and I really enjoyed the stained glass, large open windows, and the statues and the koi pond area outside. The service was extraordinary, and I had a great time learning a bit about the different wines PEJU offers from Joseph. I tried quite a few different wines, and really liked how there are a few unique offerings here that you can't find elsewhere - I ended up getting a bottle of their Province, the Farm, and their late harvest orange muscat. PEJU is also one of the few wineries with a permit to serve food. If I had known ahead of time, I would've planned to eat here! The rilettes were super tempting, but Joseph advised that if I was planning to eat a meal afterward to stick to the chips and dip - this ended up being quite a generous portion as well, and I really enjoyed the goat cheese truffle dip alongside the wine tasting :) Overall, PEJU is definitely a beautiful winery to visit with excellent service, and I'll definitely be back!

Easy to find, beautiful from the road in, and exactly what you picture when you think Napa. The whites and reds are all worth trying. Each one tastes distinct, and the flagship bottles run $44 to $125, so not cheap, but fair for wines this good. Membership is the real draw. Members get full tastings plus a food menu for themselves and two guests, which we lean on every time we pick up wine. The grounds are stunning. Plenty of tables across the property, including quiet, secluded spots for a real conversation. The member experience runs about 1.5 hours, which is plenty. The food held up too. Tomato arancini with basil aioli, bruschetta, roasted olives, marcona almonds, hummus with crispy pita, sourdough with oil and balsamic. The arancini was the best bite of the spread, crisp outside, creamy in the middle, with the basil aioli pulling it together. Staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful on every visit. A few notes: tastings cap around 6 to 8 per party, specialty experiences like the Cambium vertical are discounted for members rather than free, and your membership carries over to their sister property, St. Francis in Sonoma. Frog's Leap is simply our favorite winery in Napa Valley, and the reasons run deeper than the wine itself. In a valley increasingly dominated by cabernet sauvignon monoculture, John and Rory Williams have stayed true to a different philosophy -- growing and making wines that reflect genuine passion rather than market trends. They are also committed to responsible farming practices like organic, dry farming that are not only good for the land, but result in wines that have a sense of place. That commitment shows in every bottle. Not every varietal will suit every palate (I haven't quite gotten behind Charbono yet - sorry Rory!), but each one is exceptionally well-crafted and represents remarkable value, especially against the Napa marketplace. The wines are site-driven, elegant and balanced, not just over-oaked fruit bombs. The property is gorgeous, the tasting room staff are consistently warm and accommodating, and the winery is genuinely family-friendly -- something that matters to us greatly, as we often visit with our son. It's important to belong to a place that makes you feel welcomed, and not some of the sterile, hoity-toity atmosphere of many wineries these days. The club events and regular pickup party are highlights our whole family looks forward to when they come around. We have many great memories there like getting to help sort grapes in the 2023 vintage, cookie decorating around Christmas timeThere's also something special about seeing John and Rory at those events, hearing directly from them about their philosophy and how the current vintage is unfolding. That personal connection to the people behind the wine is rare and deeply appreciated. If you're looking for a winery that leads with integrity and craft over trend-chasing, Frog's Leap deserves your visit.

While I don't remember the exact dollar figure, they use German glassware that was 100 a pop, and each glass was selected based on enhancing which wine was being tasted. The first glass on the left was what we started with, which was a white, and as you go toward the right you transition into the bulbous fishbowl type glassware typically used to drink reds.
