Amazing wine! Poetry, the wine that defines the work of Cliff. By far a wonderful experience wine tasting. The service was exceptional. It was a gorgeous day to wine outside the in the shade, over looking the grape vines and rocking to a rock n roll music. Highly recommend Cliff Lede Vineyards for one of your wine tasting spot!

We loved our tasting!!

We had the best time tasting here. Made reservations for the VIP tasting and I feel like we were treated better than VIPs. I can't remember how this winery was recommended to us but it was a great tip. Sometimes you go to a tasting and the experience and wine don't match. This was the opposite. I can't tell you which was better the experience or the wine. To start off with, Bill Bishop was so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We loved everything he had to say. We talked about so many different things it was like talking with a friend we have known forever. He went out of his way to let us taste something special because he knew we would love it and he was so right!! We were seated on the patio and it was a really beautiful day. We heard stories about the winery, the naming of the different plots, and of the past concerts played there that sounded amazing. We had such a lovely time. Though I couldn't see how we could buy 6 bottles of Poetry, I wish we could have. It was our favorite. We did walk away with two special bottles and we would absolutely love to taste here again. Thank you!

Cliff Lede is a relative newcomer in napa, having not been here long as the likes of your Phelps, Mondavis, etc...but they've since solidified their place with great great wine and warm hospitality that is much needed in an increasingly commercialized napa wine space. We arrived here on a Saturday after lunch with members, who booked our party of 4 the back room. This space offered a very spacious and comfortable setting. Although it was not exposed directly to the vineyards, it was surrounded by artwork, and our host Cherese gave us plenty of information about the winery and it's history to preoccupy ourselves with too! As far as the wine, if you are a big fan of red blends, in particular, bordeaux style blends, then this place will tickle your fancy. I imagine Cliff Lede carries his like of the old world style from his Canadian roots. But being in Napa, the wines have a bit more of a fruity and luscious character than your average blends. We liked all the offerings here, but we're big fans of their flagship bottle, Poetry the most. Overall, Cliff Lede vineyards is a great space with equally great wine and staff who operate it. I definitely plan to be back!

So many rose topiaries and a beautiful sculpture. Charcuterie plate was delicious complement

We were originally scheduled for another winery but they were under construction and this winery was recommended by them as an alternative. It is a very small boutiquey winery with a beautifully landscaped seating garden area and a gorgeous open view of the vineyards. You need a reservation and the wine was quite exclusive in production and distribution and as a result very expensive. If you didn't buy it from the Wi wry you would not find it in a restaurant or store. It was a really nice experience and would recommend coming here. Very photogenic grounds.

What was the 11th winery stop of our Napa Valley trip up to that point, Cliff Lede is a lovely winery on the corner of Yountville Cross Road and the Silverado Trail, just down the street from neighboring Goosecross Wines. Having been established in 2002, Cliff Lede had some enjoyable wines that we tried at our reserve table tasting, such as the 2021 FEL Chardonnay, 2021 FEL Pinot Noir, 2019 Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, and the 2019 "Roundabout Midnight" Rock Block Vintage Cabernet Sauvignon. The latter wine gets its name based on the name of the vineyard block, which is named out of respective rock albums and songs. "Roundabout" comes from the song by Yes, one of the cabernet grape blocks is named on the Yountville Cross Road south side, while "Midnight" comes from the song "After Midnight" by Eric Clapton that is named for another cabernet grape block on the east Silverado Trail side. The "Roundabout Midnight" was the one we enjoyed the most, and we bought and brought a bottle home to South Florida. The ambiance was chill and relaxed, with many classic rock tunes from the 1970s and 1980s playing through the speakers. We enjoyed strolling around the grounds after the tasting, taking pictures, and just enjoying the afternoon, which was sunny and close to 100 degrees in temperature. Fortunately, we opted to drive instead of a bike ride as that would have been grueling in those weather conditions.

What a wonderful early April visit! We were so warmly welcomed, and winefully taken care of. We did the 'backstage' experience, as a little surprise for my mastering engineer brother, and were blown away... The blend of wine + music + art is, indeed, pure poetry (we appreciated the cheese plate too!) and conversation felt truly authentic -- it's always such a shame when you visit a winery with scripted wine spiel that you can hear repeated, word-for-word, at a neighboring table (and, thankfully, that was not Cliff Lede...there was great banter, solid wine / music / art / winery knowledge, and seemingly no scripted spiel!) Cliff Lede secured a new member that day -- I'm so excited to return, and introduce others to this lovely place, for the upcoming Rock Block party and future tasting experiences!!

This is a super fun stop - I mean can you go wrong when rock music is such an integral part of the property's culture and the wine marketing? They've invested time in building a strong team of servers, knowledgable about the product and the winery's history. We loved our visit and found the patio to be a perfect spot for our afternoon tasting.

Cliff "Lady" Incredible wines in a very intimate setting. Very cute outdoor back patio type of vibes, very home-y and cozy. You feel like you're family there! The wines are all quite good, with complexity and delicate tannins. The host was fun, engaging, and very knowledgeable. Shared a bunch of fun tidbits and really made the experience that much better! Oh! There's also a cute tiny garden in front to walk around if you arrive a little early.

This was my first wine tasting and honestly so amazing! Service: we had cherise and she was absolutely amazing. She was funny, trying to connect with her guests, and also very kind. Wine: the wine was SO GREAT! I honestly live white wines better than reds and these wines made me like Cabernet. You have 5 different wines to taste from and she also let us re-visit wines we liked the most Ambiance: modern and very homie feel, it definitely felt very intamite and was beautifully set. The views were AMAZING and not something you want to miss out on

The wine tasting was pretty good. The prices are way too high for this wine. For the price, I can't recommend this winery.

On this most recent experience, I was invited to attend with 2 friends who are both wine club members and I have to say, I was watching how others were hosted as we were all seated at tables with our parties fairly close to one another and I have to say, the experiences were similar in style, with a bit more TLC for the wine club member experience, but all in all, if I need another membership, this is one I'd consider as I love Sparkling wine and the service was not pretentious or rushed in any way. I felt very comfortable and the vibes were all positive. The selection of flights were great and a reasonable price point. If I had friends who were visiting and wanted a Napa County experience, this is one I would definitely recommend. They have updated their tasting spaces and have so many different areas that even on a busy day, it doesn't feel crowded or overwhelming.

The price tag versus what you get is off - our wine host didnt bother to pour us anything when we sat down (it took around 15 mins to get a glass of wine) - once we did get wine, it was off to the races. The wine is great, but is clear that Chandon is more interested in their club membership than the experience. The second we finished our tasting experience, the entire thing shifted from "taste our wine" to "buy into our wine club". It was a sudden, very jarring change. I have had better experiences with pushy time share sellers than Chandon salespeople. At least with them, I get a gift card, park tickets or a hotel stay. I got. Nothing from Chandon. Chamdon will always be my favorite wine, but for a sparkling experience, I am going to find another winery to visit or go attend a timeshare presentation where at least I get something for sitting through the annoying sales presentation.

I like wine (reds, specifically) and those featured here were the most aromatic and enjoyable lot I've ever sampled. Having been a one-time member of Conn Creek I received an invitation to a (complimentary) tasting here, as they morphed from Cornerstone Cellars into The Yount Room. The Yount Room features Cornerstone wines but also the wines of others lacking tasting rooms, including some like Conn Creek, whose tasting room was lost in the fires. Situated in Yountville's historic old railway station, the interior space is a stylish hybrid tasting room/retail space. A record player and a stack of vinyl called out and host exemplar, Sean, was agreeable to spinning whatever we (the sole customers at the time) requested. Stones hits played to a Bossa Nova beat and Memphis lilts from Dusty Springfield made the visit quite perfect but without such perfect wines it'd be a lot less so. The Yount Room does tastings as well as wines by the glass and I can't wait to return for the latter. I don't know what's on their "by the glass" list but if it's anything like what was served at the tasting* it'd be impossible to go astray. * Tasting included: - Hibou, 2024 Sauvignon Blanc, Winemaker: Keith Emerson - Status Quo, 2024 Pinot Noir, Winemaker: Adam Lee - Cornerstone, 2021 Cabernet Franc, Winemaker: Kari Arranger - Cain, 2021 Cain Fire, Winemaker: Chris Howell - Conn Creek, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Winemaker: Jean Hoeflinger

I came here with a large group of ladies and we really enjoyed ourselves. Antoine was our host and we had so much fun with him! He kept us on our toes during our entire tasting. He made us laugh, told us interesting stories, and also explained each wine that we were tasting. I wouldn't say that our group was rowdy.... but we were drankin'. And you know what happens when the gals be drinkin'! Mm hmm... we got a bit excited and little loud. However, Antoine handled our large party well and we so appreciated him for it. Speaking of rowdy; this is definitely a tasting room with a youthful glow. There aren't crazy drunks and it's not super loud, but it seems like this is where the larger groups like to hang out and truly have a kick back time. It's just fun! It's a fun time. Their patio is all the rave. There were several other large parties tasting out on the patio as well that day. Their indoor tasting room is really cute. There's a smallish tasting bar inside, but the patio area is nestled amongst their lovely vineyards. The photo opportunities are endless, and Antoine was nice enough to snap some photos of us during our visit. When it comes to the wines, I definitely enjoyed their white wines more than their reds. I loved their Gewurtztraminer and their Sauvignon Blanc was tasty too. The red wines that we tasted were just okay. Even their $150 Cab Sauv tasted a bit young, but just my personal opinion. My group and I really had a blast tasting here. I will definitely come back for a future tasting when I'm back in Yountville.
