The whole experience was rushed And it is definitely the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever had. my fingernails were barely filed and buffed, were not even and one finger had a smudge that the technician just put top coat over. I came here for a dip powder mani as I had a gift certificate. The staff was nice and the place is very clean however they do not know what they are doing with this type of mani. Less then a day later my top clearcoat bubbled up and peeled off. A day after that, two of my nails started chipping. I went back to have them fixed three days later and they still look bad. Do not recommend this type of service at all. Plus they charge $10 more than others in the area and have very limited color selection. read more

Hello! I've been going to Fantasy Nail Spa for 2 years now.....I wouldn't change anything...not one thing!! Their service to their clients is AWESOME...I will never complain because they are the only place that I can get my nails, feet, eyebrows & lip done and all 4 are SMOKING. I never had that in the past....I would have to go to 2 or 3 different places and was never satisfied. I get so many compliments thanks to all of them. I'm sorry but I honestly do not know how this place has such good reviews. I've been here twice and both times received horrible service. The first time was when nail salons first opened back up and it was the manager that did them. I scheduled an appointment and arrived a few minutes early knowing that I had to get my temp checked and sign papers. I was seated immediately and picked my color and length that I wanted my set. He could not focus. He was constantly getting up, answering the phone, going to talk to other people. All together for a full set with simple polish, no design or anything, I was there for 4 hours. When I left, my nails were crooked, uneven, and bumpy. I didn't want to ask him to fix it because I didn't want to be there any longer than I already had been. The second time was today. It had been months so I decided to give them another chance and hoped I got seated at someone else's table. Got there, got my temp checked, signed the papers, sat down, same guy as the first time. He prepped my nails and then his appointment showed up so I was moved to someone else's table. I would have been better off staying with him sadly. She glued the tips on, left black nail polish still on my natural nail and then cut the nails so narrow they look like stiletto nails instead of coffin. She put acrylic on my nails and did not cover the entire nail bed because "when she files it, it won't be there anymore" and did not make the nails thick enough either to the point where I can still bend the plastic tip that was glued on. I asked her to put on more acrylic knowing they would break if she just left them that way and she told me she didn't need to. I was ready to get up an walk out at that point but didn't have time to go somewhere else today. She painted them with 6 coats of polish because "the polish was uneven" but in actuality that's how many coats it took to cover the line you could see where the acrylic still did not cover my nail. My nails are still thin, crooked, uneven, lumpy and all together just BAD. Do not waste your money here. read more

Kelsey did my nails today. She did such a great job. I called at 5:15p when I got off work and asked if I could come right then for a fill-in. They kindly said yes I could come right now and I was on my way. I got there at 5:30p and I was greeted by the receptionist and I asked for Vicky or Kelsey based off their great reviews on Yelp. Kelsey was available and she took me right away. I picked out two pretty pinks from OPI Hello Kitty collection(which I was stoked they had!). Kelsey prepped my nails and on she went. She shaped them beautifully and the color came out perfect. She gave me a tip too to help me prolong my nails between fill-ins (*Add nail glue at the ends of your nails so the acrylic and natural nail don't lift apart and water can't get in)! I can honestly say I had a great experience here and I will be back for a full set of gel nails next! read more

I started getting my nails done at Fantasy Nail Spa over a year and half ago - soon after it was under new management - and have been there at least twice a month since. The salon is very clean and I have always been taken care of promptly. Also, the staff is very friendly and courteous, and works hard to make sure clients are made comfortable. In addition, prices are quite competitive. I primarily go for my fingernails. I get the gel polish and find that it last really well. The salon has a great selection of colors and brands. In the event I want a color that they don't stock, they will order it so it is available at my next visit. I also enjoy getting pedicures there. In the past, I did this every two or three weeks, but the pedicures I have gotten there tend to last four weeks. Typically, I would only get pedicures during the warmer months, but will probably continue into the winter because they do such a good job and they last so well. I have brought friends and visiting family with me from time to time. They have always been treated well and have commented favorably. It can be a little scary to try out a new salon, but I can recommend with confidence. read more

I just was visiting in Raleigh for a few months during this winter and needed to find a nail salon that did pink and white solar nails. I did a lot of research and decided to try Fantasy Nail spa. There I met Andy. I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised ! The salon was impeccably clean, very relaxing, very friendly, very busy but also very accommodating to every single person that walked through their doors. The workmanship of Andy speaks for itself, in fact once while I was there a woman came all the way from Fayetteville to have him do her nails. He is an expert in his trade. I am so happy I found him. I went to Fantasy Nail Spa today for the first time because of previous Yelp reviews. The first thing I noticed when I entered was how clean and fresh the space looked. The music is instrumental and calming. I came in for a pedicure. There was no wait at 11:00 on a Monday. I brought my own nail polish because I have a favorite that I use all the time so I was taken directly to the line of pedicure chairs. There are six in a row. They are newer models and very clean looking. The massage chair worked well. I was offered a drink and brought a bottle of water per my request. Nina, my nail technician, gave me the pedicure menu. I chose the deluxe pedicure (#3 on the menu) because it includes a mask and sugar scrub. Nina was fantastic! She massages my legs three times: removing the mask, during the sugar scrub, and when applying the lotion. The products that were used were above average. The only thing that gave me pause was that I didn't actually see the instruments come from a sterile pack. Given how clean everything appeared to be, I have no reason to believe that they didn't come from an autoclave, but I like to actually see the instruments come from an unopened sterile pack. I wasn't bothered by this enough to give less than 5 stars though. My pedicure lasted about an hour (I didn't time it precisely) and cost $35. I tipped $7 per the customary 15-20% tip for any service industry. I think this was a pedicure worth $42! I'll bring my sisters, mom, and friends here in the future! Thank you, Nina! read more

Honestly, I've been coming here for years and it's always the same. I know the people and like them and the work but they manage it poorly. I have sat with my feet in water for 25 minutes, been told to come back in two hours, once it took 2 hours for a mani pedi because she kept stopping to do eyebrows. I was a 2xmonthly regular and got told to come back tomorrow because they had a party coming in & I am tired of being treated like this because they take me for granted. I tip 10-15 a visit, 20 if I get my eyebrows done. My $ is going somewhere else. read more

Great nail shop! Everyone is so friendly and they all do an excellent job. I have gel nails and use gel polish. It last for weeks and look fresh everyday for more than 2 weeks (but I go back every 2 weeks for a fill-in of course). They have so many color choices in the gel and regular polish. I get there early so I can decide. As for toes, everyone does a great job. They have the massage chairs and it is very relaxing. I totally love the spa music too! Last but definitely not least, they are very particular about cleanliness and it shows. I highly recommend everyone there! read more

I have been coming here for a while and this place is the best I have found in Raleigh, and I think I have tried every nail spa in town at some point. they are popular and can be busy, but I have never had to wait if I call a few hours early to make an appointment. if you just walk in you my have to sometimes wait, but I have rarely had to wait for more than a few minutes, even if I didn't have an appointment.
